If she ran into someone she knew, she wouldn't be able to explain herself.
Jin Lan had been waiting for the two of them. Seeing Ye Wan being carried in by Gu Yunting, and then the tremor in Ye Wan's body after being put down, he was annoyed.
"What's wrong with you two again?" Jin Lan looked at them with some surprise. He thought their issues had been resolved, and they should be getting along now. Why did it seem like they were having another spat?
"Examine her body. She just had her IUD removed," Gu Yunting said, his voice a little cold.
"My body is fine, I don't need an examination! Removing the IUD is my own business, and it has nothing to do with either of you!" Ye Wan said angrily and turned to leave.
Gu Yunting stopped her and pushed her back onto the bed. "What are you throwing a tantrum about?"
"Who's throwing a tantrum? Am I sick to be throwing a tantrum! I think my body is fine! Why do you need to examine it? Just because you want me to have a child? I'm telling you now, my body is perfectly healthy. If you want a child, you should work harder yourself, don't always bother me." Ye Wan, too angry to think, spoke without considering her words. After she finished, she glared at him furiously, her chest heaving.
Gu Yunting was speechless.
"Stop, can you two stop arguing for a moment? Talk things out properly," Jin Lan quickly intervened.
Ye Wan vented her anger and lowered her head, falling silent. In fact, she regretted what she had said as soon as it was out, but she was too angry. She knew she had no right.
She was angry, and she couldn't control her temper anymore! Let him punish her however he wished!
"Ye Wan, are you feeling unwell anywhere?" Jin Lan asked, looking at her.
"No, I don't feel unwell," Ye Wan shook her head immediately.
"Removing an IUD isn't a major surgery, it's a very minor procedure. Any ordinary doctor can do it. You don't need to worry too much. As long as she doesn't feel uncomfortable, it's fine," Jin Lan reassured Gu Yunting.
Gu Yunting said nothing.
He turned and left, ignoring them both.
Ye Wan thought he was utterly crazy!
Seeing this, Jin Lan asked, "What exactly is going on between you two? Why are you arguing again?"
"Nothing, I'm leaving too." Ye Wan didn't want to stay at the hospital any longer. She actually disliked hospitals. If it weren't for her brother's illness, she would never set foot in one.
Jin Lan watched them leave one after another and returned to his work, feeling speechless.

By the time Ye Wan returned to the Gu residence that evening, it was already dark. Upon her arrival, she saw Sun Ma standing there with a worried expression. Her eyes darted away when she saw Ye Wan.
"Sun Ma, what's wrong?" Ye Wan noticed Sun Ma's unusual behavior and asked.
"Nothing. Have you eaten? I'll have dinner prepared," Sun Ma said, rubbing her hands.
"I'm not very hungry, I don't want to eat now. I'll go see Jin Bao." Ye Wan said, heading towards the small room where Jin Bao stayed.
"Oh, have your dinner first. How can you not be hungry after a day out? Jin Bao is asleep, let him sleep a little longer," Sun Ma stopped her.
"Sun Ma? You're being very strange. Is Jin Bao sick?" Ye Wan blinked. Sun Ma was acting too unusually today. Why was she preventing her from seeing Jin Bao?
"No, no, he's really just asleep," Sun Ma said with a smile.
"Alright then, I'm hungry. Please prepare dinner for me. I'm going to my room to shower," Ye Wan said, preparing to head upstairs.
Seeing that Ye Wan was no longer insistent on seeing Jin Bao, Sun Ma breathed a sigh of relief and turned towards the kitchen.
