Gu Yunting reached out and took Ye Wan's bowl, divided half of it for himself, and then put it back.
Ye Wan glared at him, upset that her noodles were now half gone. Ye Cheng frowned, watching him bully his sister. He really wanted to beat up this big guy to avenge his sister, but he knew his small arms and legs couldn't defeat him yet.
Anger surged!
Ye Cheng immediately picked up his own noodle bowl, intending to share it with his sister. Ye Wan stopped him, "I have enough to eat, you eat yours."
"I can't finish mine either, sister, you eat it," Ye Cheng insisted on giving the noodles to his sister.
"Eat quickly, you're at an age where you're growing, you need to eat more to grow taller," Ye Wan urged her brother to eat.
Gu Yunting quickly finished his noodles and then looked at Ye Wan's bowl. Ye Wan swiftly ate her own noodles, her cheeks puffed out like a cute little hamster. She absolutely refused to let him snatch her food again.
Gu Yunting watched the siblings protect their food as if she and he were on one side, and he would always be an outsider. This made him feel uncomfortable.
"When you're done, come with me," Gu Yunting said.
"What for?" Ye Wan frowned, not knowing what he wanted now.
"I said I'd make you my personal assistant, starting today." Gu Yunting got up and went to the restroom.
"I didn't agree. I have my own plans for the holidays and don't intend to be your assistant," Ye Wan immediately refused. After thinking it over, she realized how precious school time was. She had to work desperately before, but now she wanted to use the winter break to learn more knowledge.
"Have you forgotten the agreement you made with me? You'd better memorize the terms of the contract," Gu Yunting said as he came out and pulled her towards the door.
"Let go of my sister, you big bad guy!" Ye Cheng, seeing him trying to drag his sister away, completely lost control and charged forward to bite him.
Ye Wan was startled by her brother and quickly stood in front of him, not wanting him to offend Gu Yunting!
Although the little fellow wasn't old, he had gained some weight recently. His charge was like a small cannonball, hitting her lower abdomen, causing her to bend over in pain.
Seeing that he had accidentally hurt his sister, Ye Cheng's heart ached, and he burst into tears. Ye Wan quickly hugged him to comfort him, "It's okay, it's okay, sister is fine, don't cry."
"I'm sorry, sister, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," Ye Cheng cried sadly, tears falling like raindrops.
Ye Wan quickly comforted him, "I know you didn't mean to, but don't do this again, don't hurt yourself."
Gu Yunting watched their deep sibling affection, which felt incredibly jarring. He reached out, lifted Ye Cheng, and tossed him aside. Then, he picked up Ye Wan and walked out.
"Put my sister down!" Ye Cheng yelled, rushing forward to fight Gu Yunting.
"Kid, if you don't want your sister to get hurt, then scram back!" Gu Yunting said, then carried Ye Wan away from the apartment.
"Xiao Cheng, don't follow me, just wait for Aunt Zhang to come home," Ye Wan quickly instructed her brother.
Gu Yunting carried Ye Wan downstairs and into the car. Ye Wan immediately sat as far away from him as possible, turning her head away from him, feeling both wronged and angry!
Gu Yunting told the driver to start. The car drove all the way to the hospital. Ye Wan frowned and didn't turn around. Gu Yunting pulled her out of the car.
"What do you want? If you want to go to the hospital, go. I'll wait for you in the car," Ye Wan said angrily, trying to pull her wrist away, not wanting him to hold it.
Gu Yunting directly pulled her out and carried her inside. Ye Wan's face turned red with anger, and she buried her head in his chest, not wanting anyone to see her.
