"Childish... childish..." Hikaru was stunned.

"You actually called me childish? You’ve really riled me up!"

Hikaru bowed slightly, assuming a sumo wrestler’s stance. He placed his hands on his knees, lifted his right foot, and then slammed it down hard on the ground, causing cracks to spiderweb across the earth.

"I’m attacking!" He took a powerful stance.

Hikaru’s massive body shot forward like a cannonball, his huge hands raised high above his head.

He bellowed, "Full-Force Push!"

It has to be said, despite his apparent lack of intelligence, this fat man possessed considerable strength. His rapid movement generated powerful gusts of wind, ruffling Finn’s bangs.

Bang!

To the astonishment and horror of the surrounding Grimoire Heart mages, Hikaru, renowned for his mastery of physical combat techniques, was sent flying by a single, explosive kick from Finn’s flaming right foot.

"Uggaaah!"

Hikaru’s scream echoed as his body smashed through several towering trees before finally crashing to the ground, sending up a massive cloud of dust and debris.

Finn calmly retracted his foot, his gaze hardening as he surveyed the countless figures encircling him.

"Your turn," he stated, his voice devoid of emotion.

Without giving them a chance to react, Finn unleashed a devastating attack. His flaming fist slammed into the ground.

Boom!

In an instant, a countless number of explosive flames erupted from the point of impact, radiating outwards from Finn at an incredible speed. The ferocious flames tore through the surrounding trees, instantly reducing the once towering giants to charred remnants that collapsed to the ground.

The surrounding Grimoire Heart mages watched in stunned silence.

"What just happened?"

"In an instant..."

"What kind of flames are those?!"

The next moment, those caught in the inferno understood.

Burning!

Intense, unbearable burning!

Their clothing was instantly incinerated, followed swiftly by the searing of their flesh. The intense heat prevented even a scream from escaping their lips.

In less than ten seconds, the majority of the mages surrounding Finn were reduced to ashes. Only a handful, possessing superior magical power, remained standing, gasping for breath.

"Mon...monster!!" one of the surviving mages cried out in terror, his voice trembling as he stared at Finn, engulfed in a raging inferno.

Finn slowly rose to his feet, preparing to eliminate the remaining foes, when a blinding golden light erupted from deep within the forest.

In the blink of an eye, the golden light enveloped Finn.

A powerful explosion rocked the area.

Hikaru, radiating a golden aura, emerged from the smoke and dust. He held up the voodoo doll; a single strand of Finn’s hair was now affixed to its head. The doll itself pulsed with a bright, almost blinding light.

"Self-Enhancement: Luminous Body!" Hikaru announced, his voice calm and confident.

"I told you, I’m one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory. I’m quite powerful, you know!"

Gone was the earlier flippancy; Hikaru’s expression was now one of grim determination.

"Heh." A sardonic chuckle echoed from within the dissipating smoke cloud.

Finn, with a slight wave of his arm, dispersed the lingering smoke, revealing himself unscathed.

"Indeed, a rather unusual magic," Finn acknowledged, his gaze now focused intently on Hikaru. "Under normal circumstances, I might have been inclined to engage in a bit of playful sparring with you. However, I’m rather pressed for time at the moment," he stated, his tone hardening.

The continuous surge of magical energy emanating from Makarov’s location indicated that a fierce battle was already underway. Moreover, the steadily weakening intensity of Makarov’s magical aura suggested that he was in a precarious situation.

Finn knew he had to provide support immediately.

Finn extended his hand, and Ryujin Jakka materialized in his grasp. He slowly drew the blade, the surrounding temperature increasing exponentially.

Observing Finn’s actions and the rapidly escalating temperature, Hikaru’s brow furrowed, a sense of foreboding washing over him.

"Getsuga Tenshou!" Finn declared.

With a swift, decisive motion, Finn raised Ryujin Jakka high above his head before bringing it down in a devastating arc. An immense, flame-wreathed blade of energy tore through the earth, hurtling towards Hikaru with terrifying speed.

Horrified by the sight of the approaching attack, Hikaru frantically channeled his magic into the voodoo doll, triggering its transformation.

"Self-Enhancement: Steel Body!"

Hikaru’s luminous form shifted, his body hardening into a seemingly impenetrable shell of steel.

The next instant, Finn’s devastating attack struck its target.

BOOM BOOM!

A deafening roar echoed through the forest as the earth before Finn was cleaved in two by the immense force of the attack. Flames raged around the epicenter of the impact. Even the Fairy Tail members engaged in combat elsewhere on Tenrou Island could feel the earth tremble from the sheer force of the attack.

"Hey, that commotion over there... was that Finn?" Gray asked, momentarily pausing his battle to address his companions.

"That intense heat... only he could generate such power," Lucy replied, her eyes fixed on the distant spectacle.

"That guy’s incredible!" Loki added, his voice laced with awe.

"Finn doesn’t need our help. Let’s finish these guys and get back to the S-Class exam!" Cana declared, her voice filled with a fierce determination.

With a swift flick of her wrist, Cana unleashed a torrent of explosive flames from her cards, instantly engulfing a group of Grimoire Heart mages. Cana’s anger was palpable.

Earlier, Lucy, Cana, and the others had successfully located the grave of the first guild master. A smile had played upon Cana’s lips at the thought of finally achieving her long-held dream of becoming an S-Class mage.

However, the arrival of the red flare had shattered her hopes and dreams. The unexpected invasion of enemies had forced the abrupt suspension of the S-Class mage promotion exam.

This was utterly unacceptable to Cana.

"This was my last chance! Why is this happening? I came to this exam determined to finally quit the guild, and now it’s being stopped? This is a joke!" Cana exclaimed, her voice filled with outrage.

"I’m continuing this exam!"

However, Gray and Loki intervened, preventing Cana from charging recklessly into the fray.

Just as the trio prepared to make their way to the designated assembly point, they were suddenly surrounded by a massive force of Grimoire Heart mages. Forced to defend themselves, the three mages engaged in fierce combat.

And then, a goat-man in a sharp suit appeared before them...
