Chapter 628 Don't you worry

Ye Wan asked Shen Ziche if there was anything else. Shen Ziche said he just needed to get his school uniform and books.

Ye Wan left these matters to him and left with her assistant.

After the two left, the three boys in the dormitory warmly greeted Shen Ziche.

"Who was that girl just now?" the boy opposite Shen Ziche asked.

"My sister," Shen Ziche replied, not wanting to talk about Ye Wan with them.

"Your sister is so beautiful, I've never seen such a beautiful girl. Your family must be very well-off, your clothes are all designer brands."

"No, they're just average," Shen Ziche replied indifferently. He knew his clothes were not cheap, but he had only seen the brands and didn't know much about them, nor did he pay attention.

The three of them thought he was being modest, and coupled with Shen Ziche's rather cold demeanor, they stopped talking to him.

Shen Ziche breathed a sigh of relief. After organizing his belongings, he prepared to get his books. He asked a classmate where to get them, and as the dormitory mates were about to go out, they offered to accompany him.

...

Ye Wan temporarily put Shen Ziche's matters out of her mind. She decided to sponsor Shen Ziche because she felt pity for his mother and son, and sponsoring his education was her way of distracting herself from her recent pain.

The assistant dropped Ye Wan off at the school and left. As there were no formal classes that day, most students would be returning to school. After entering the campus, Ye Wan called Jiang Yan, and they arranged to meet at the cafeteria.

After Jiang Yan got her food, they sat facing each other and were about to eat when Ning Xin arrived with her food. She asked, "May I sit here?"

Ning Xin had been much more subdued last semester. She was the only one left in the dormitory at first, and later three more people moved in. Ning Xin still wanted to be friends with rich second-generation students like Ye Wan and Jiang Yan. Even though Jiang Yan's family had gone bankrupt, they still knew more high-quality young men.

"No one's sitting here, feel free to sit if you want."

Ning Xin's expression froze. She could hear the distance in Jiang Yan's words, but she still shamelessly sat down.

"Ye Wan, you look a bit unwell. Are you okay?" Ning Xin proactively showed concern.

Ye Wan shook her head, "I'm fine, maybe a bit of a cold."

"Then you should take care of yourself, rest at home for a couple of days, and drink more hot water," Ning Xin said solicitously.

"Let's eat, don't talk so much," Jiang Yan said, somewhat exasperated, cutting off Ning Xin's concern and gesturing for Ye Wan to eat.

Ye Wan indeed felt unwell, lacking energy and looking a bit listless. Jiang Yan was worried and planned to take her to the hospital to see Jin Lan after they finished eating.

After eating, Jiang Yan pulled Ye Wan out of the restaurant. Ning Xin also followed, seemingly wanting to join them. Jiang Yan felt annoyed and quickened her pace. She was the kind of person who, once she no longer liked someone, would never like them again and wouldn't even bother to acknowledge them.

However, only a few meters after Jiang Yan pulled Ye Wan out of the restaurant, Ye Wan suddenly fainted.

Jiang Yan was startled and quickly caught her, calling Ye Wan's name with concern. Ning Xin rushed over as well. She held Ye Wan with one hand and pulled out her phone with the other to call for an ambulance.

At the hospital.

Jiang Yan was extremely anxious. Ye Wan was still in the emergency room. Jin Lan arrived with a grim expression. Seeing him, Jiang Yan's tears began to fall, and she walked towards him. Jin Lan's expression softened slightly when he saw her. "I'll go in and see, don't worry."
