"Two tubes, this is for pain relief. No more taking painkillers randomly in the future, understood!" Gu Yunting glared at her unhappily.
Ye Wan immediately nodded obediently.
Gu Yunting's mood improved slightly. He carefully applied medicine to her wound and re-bandaged it. When he lay down, he turned his back to Ye Wan, clearly still angry.
Ye Wan felt helpless. She was the one who was injured, yet it seemed like he was the one who had been wronged.
Gu Yunting checked that she had no other external injuries and finally relaxed.
Ye Wan also lay down, turned off the main light, and only left the small bedside lamp on. After hesitating for a moment, she pulled the blanket up for Gu Yunting and said, "Don't be angry anymore. Sleeping while angry is bad for your health."
Gu Yunting remained still. Ye Wan felt a bit lost. She didn't know how to persuade him, but he was angry because of her. So, she lay there, completely unable to sleep.
After a long while, neither of them moved, and neither slept. Finally, Ye Wan couldn't resist her sleepiness and drifted off.
Gu Yunting then turned to look at the sleeping girl beside him, reached out to pull her into his arms, gently kissed her forehead, turned off the bedside lamp, and fell asleep holding her.

After Jin Lan finished dealing with matters at the hospital, he called Jiang Jingxiu and Gu Yunting. Jiang Jingxiu's call went through, but Gu Yunting's went unanswered. He knew that guy must be bullying Ye Wan again.
They agreed to meet at a club to drink. Jiang Jingxiu looked at the bandage on Jin Lan's head in surprise. "What happened to you?"
"Don't even mention it. I'm so frustrated, I was beaten up by a crazy woman!"
Jin Lan and Jiang Jingxiu were close friends who told each other everything. He recounted everything that had happened from yesterday to today to Jiang Jingxiu. After listening, Jiang Jingxiu laughed so hard he slapped the table, almost falling off his chair.
Jin Lan was about to get angry when Jiang Jingxiu finally stopped laughing and said, "So, you've finally ended your virginity."
"You're asking for a beating!" Jin Lan, angered, swung his fist at him. Jiang Jingxiu laughed and dodged, and the two began to drink.
Jiang Mi came to sell wine and unexpectedly ran into Jiang Jingxiu. Her first instinct was to flee, but Jin Lan called out to her. "Hey, aren't you the one who was with Ye Wan on the cruise ship last time? Are you friends?"

"I... we met while working part-time. We introduce each other to jobs," Jiang Mi said softly after taking a deep breath.
"Since you're Ye Wan's friend, you're my friend too. Are you selling wine? Get me a few bottles, the expensive ones. Young Master Jiang is treating today! Don't you dare save him any money!" Jin Lan said with a smile.
Jiang Jingxiu merely glanced at Jiang Mi faintly and said nothing. Jiang Mi had no choice but to walk over, open a bottle of wine for them, and pour it. "Drinking too much alcohol is bad for your health. Since you consider me a friend, please drink less," she said.
After speaking, Jiang Mi got up to leave. Jin Lan grabbed her wrist. Jiang Mi immediately pulled away forcefully and jumped up. "What are you doing?"
Jin Lan was startled by her intense reaction and quickly said, "Don't get agitated. I didn't mean to take advantage of you. I saw you were sick and wanted to examine you... I'm a doctor."
Jiang Mi stood there awkwardly. "I'm sorry."
