An even heavier pressure than before bore down on them. Bluenote, having observed this, turned his attention to Cana’s arm.
The intricate magical markings there caused a flicker of excitement to cross his usually impassive face.
"So Fairy Glitter has decided to come to me. In that case, I’ll accept it without hesitation!"
Cana, struggling against the immense gravitational pressure, slowly raised her head.
"This magic can only be used by members of our guild."
Bluenote remained completely unmoved by Cana’s statement.
"Trace all magic back to its source, and you will discover that all magic originates from a single, unified source. Regardless of its outward manifestation, every magic’s origin traces back to that one, singular magic."
"By approaching the abyss of magic, one can wield any magic!"
Bluenote raised his arm, and Cana, unable to resist, was lifted into the air.
"Fairy Glitter... this is a supremely difficult magic, a concentrated fusion of the sun’s, moon’s, and stars’ light. Trash like you has no business wielding such power!"
He tightened his grip on her arm, as if intending to crush Cana completely. However, his action was thwarted.
Natsu and Gray, having exerted every ounce of their remaining strength, managed to reach Bluenote and prevent him from harming Cana.
"Cana, we’ll hold him off. Get ready to unleash that magic," Natsu instructed, turning his head to address Cana.
Cana nodded in response and immediately began to gather her magical energy. She understood that this was her one and only chance; she absolutely had to win.

Finn and Ultear found their path blocked by Hades. Finn couldn’t help but feel a touch of irony.
"I was just wondering how I was going to find you, and you deliver yourself right to me?"
Hades responded with a chilling laugh, his features contorted in a grimace of barely suppressed rage.
"You little brat, you’ve completely thrown my guild into disarray. Naturally, I’ve come to exact my revenge!"
Hades, his body heavily bandaged, stood before them, the lingering pain from his wounds still evident. However, he had recently witnessed through the Eye of the Demon that Bluenote was on the verge of acquiring Fairy Glitter.
Hades would not allow Finn to interfere with this crucial development. Furthermore, the Tenrou Tree was moments away from being felled, ensuring Hades’ victory over Finn.
Once Bluenote succeeded in acquiring Fairy Glitter, they could launch a pincer attack on Finn. Eliminating this troublesome young mage would remove the last obstacle standing between Hades and his ultimate goal. Therefore, Hades had come personally.
His gaze shifted to Ultear, standing beside Finn. Hades’ expression darkened further, his anger intensifying.
"I never imagined that you would betray me, Ultear," he hissed, his voice dripping with venom and resentment.
Ultear instinctively took a small step backward. Although she had never intended to pledge genuine allegiance to Hades, she was acutely aware of his terrifying power from years of experience.
Despite her resolve, Ultear still felt an involuntary surge of fear upon encountering Hades’ malevolent gaze.
However, at that critical moment, Finn stepped forward, positioning himself directly in front of Ultear.
.....
His eyes locked onto Hades’, his voice firm and unwavering. "She’s one of our comrades. I won’t allow anyone to harm a comrade of mine while I’m standing here!"
Ultear stared at Finn’s back, a profound sense of warmth emanating from his unwavering stance. The feeling of camaraderie seemed to dispel her fear entirely.
"So this is... what it means to be comrades..." Ultear murmured to herself, a newfound understanding dawning within her.
Gathering her resolve, she stepped forward, positioning herself alongside Finn.
"I can fight too!" she declared, her voice filled with newfound strength, as crystal orbs materialized in her hands.
Her eyes met Finn’s, unwavering determination reflecting in their depths.
"Ho ho, it seems Makarov’s little brat has taught you quite a bit. You’re quite eloquent, aren’t you?" Hades chuckled, a sinister glint in his eyes as his magical power began to surge.
"However, I prefer to solve problems with a blade, especially when dealing with someone like you," Finn responded calmly, his voice steady and unwavering.
With a swift movement, he produced Ryujin Jakka, his Zanpakuto, its blade gleaming menacingly. His own magical energy began to flow steadily outward.
However, Ultear extended her hand, placing it before Finn, gently but firmly stopping him.
"Aren’t your comrades in danger? You should go save them. I’ll hold Hades off here!"
Upon hearing Ultear’s words, Finn paused, a look of surprise and concern crossing his face. He quickly responded, his tone laced with urgency.
"Do you know what you’re saying?"
"If you face Hades alone, you could very well die!"
Ultear offered a reassuring smile. "I’m not that weak!"
Finn still shook his head. "You and Nancy go to assist them. Leave Hades to..."
Suddenly, Finn froze, his eyes widening as his gaze shifted towards Bluenote’s location. Another powerful surge of magical energy was emanating from that direction!
A slow smile spread across Finn’s face. "We don’t need to go anywhere after all," he stated, his voice calm and confident.
"I can feel that old man’s righteous fury!"
"Gildarts has arrived!"
A colossal ice hammer hurtled towards Bluenote, but he effortlessly caught it with a single hand. Gray, his brow furrowed in concentration, strained to increase his magical output, desperately attempting to inflict even the slightest amount of damage upon Bluenote.
Bluenote, with a swift, powerful swing of his arm, sent Gray and his hammer flying through the air. However, a wave of intense, searing flames immediately followed.
"Fire Dragon’s Roar!!"
"Don’t interfere!" Bluenote roared, his voice echoing across the battlefield as he swung his arm again. An invisible force, radiating pure magical power, instantly dispersed Natsu’s fiery breath attack, sending him flying as well.
"You pathetic insects!" Bluenote cursed, his voice filled with contempt, as he prepared to deliver the final blow to the two mages. However, a sudden wave of unease washed over him.
A brilliant, dazzling light had begun to slowly rise in the distance.
"Impossible..." Bluenote widened his eyes in disbelief.
"Gather! O river of light, guided by the fairies!" Cana raised her arm high above her head, her voice ringing out clearly.
A breathtaking light, so intense that it momentarily blinded even Bluenote, filled the air. The previously dark sky was now illuminated with a radiant starlight.
"Shine! To destroy evil’s fangs!" Cana’s voice resonated with unwavering determination.
The light from the heavens converged, forming a merciless, all-consuming wheel of light, capable of obliterating anything in its path.
"Fairy—Glitter!!"
The circle of light enveloped Bluenote, the relentless light of judgment descending upon him.
"Uoooooh!!" Bluenote unleashed nearly all of his magical power in a desperate attempt to defend himself against this overwhelmingly powerful attack.
The light was incredibly intense, yet it seemed to be causing him only minimal damage. He crouched low to the ground, raising his arm high above his head before bringing it down with tremendous force.
"Fall!!"
The light and gravity seemed to collide in a violent clash of opposing forces.
In the next instant, a devastating shockwave, originating from Bluenote, ripped across the battlefield, sending everyone sprawling.
Failure...
Cana couldn’t believe it. The merciless light, which should have effortlessly crushed everything in its path, had failed to inflict any significant damage upon Bluenote.
"Was that supposed to be Fairy Glitter? Don’t make me laugh," Bluenote scoffed, his voice filled with derision as he approached Cana.
"Even the most powerful magic is utterly useless if the caster is nothing but trash," he stated, his voice dripping with contempt.
"You know, I can extract that magic after I kill you," he said slowly, extending his hand toward Cana, his expression radiating an air of absolute confidence.
"It’s... because I’m not strong enough..." Cana whispered, her eyes slowly closing, her voice filled with despair.
