Chapter 24 Heng Tian Secret Realm

"How did you get injured?"

Chu Lingwei gently stroked Feng Ming's small head, which closed its eyes in comfort.

But she still answered Weiwei's question, "I don't know. When I have memories, I was already injured and then captured."

"No memories?" Chu Lingwei lowered her head, looking at Feng Ming's bewildered eyes, and continued, "Perhaps when your injuries heal, you will remember things from the past."

Feng Ming nuzzled Chu Lingwei's body with its little head, its voice filled with happiness, "I don't want to remember the past. I just want to stay by Master's side forever."

Chu Lingwei was amused by her words, "Alright, then stay by my side forever."

Feng Ming, happy like a child, darted around Chu Lingwei.

Chu Lingwei finally understood why people liked keeping pets so much. Being with Feng Ming truly made one feel much happier.

Three days later.

Chu Lingwei, clad in the disciple's uniform of the Spiritual Cultivation Academy, stood beside Leng Xingzhi.

She watched as disciples from each sect gathered together, like different formations in a school. The difference was that the pressure emanating from each formation made the atmosphere here feel somewhat eerie.

The Spiritual Cultivation Academy rarely interacted with those sects.

Leng Xingzhi led the disciples of the Spiritual Cultivation Academy, standing on his Dharma artifact, looking down at the various sects below.

"Junior Sister, do not rush when entering the secret realm," Leng Xingzhi turned his head and saw Chu Lingwei's gaze fixed on the disciples of the Xuanxin Sect, and gently admonished her.

"Yes, Senior Brother."

Chu Lingwei knew that before seeking revenge, she had to survive.

Leng Xingzhi said no more. The Dharma artifact on Junior Sister was enough to destroy half of the Hengtian Secret Realm. As long as she was not impulsive, there would be no danger.

"Weiwei, that tracking spirit butterfly is on Chu Xiyin," Feng Ming recognized Chu Xiyin. Seeing Weiwei's enemy standing there unharmed, Feng Ming's voice was tinged with anger.

As expected, it was her.

Chu Lingwei smiled inwardly. She was worrying about not finding her in the Hengtian Secret Realm, and here she was, delivering herself.

It truly suited her wishes.

On the other side.

Chu Xiyin stared intently at Chu Lingwei, her eyes filled with sarcasm. So what if she was from the Spiritual Cultivation Academy?

As long as she could kill her in the secret realm, even the Spiritual Cultivation Academy would not be able to do anything to her.

Thinking of the humiliation she had suffered a few days ago, Chu Xiyin wished she could enter the secret realm sooner and slay Chu Lingwei.

Elder Hua Tian sensed that Chu Xiyin beside him was emotionally unstable and felt disappointed.

He did not expect Chu Xiyin, who was so highly regarded by everyone in the sect, to be so impatient.

Just then, a golden light suddenly shot out from the sky.

The leaders of the various sects immediately summoned their Dharma artifacts and directed them towards the sky.

Leng Xingzhi did the same. Besides leading their disciples into the secret realm, these individuals also had a mission: to fully open the Hengtian Secret Realm.

Chu Lingwei's eyes were fixed on the golden light. The spiritual energy from dozens of Dharma artifacts continuously flickered, creating a bottomless black abyss where the golden light emanated.

"Disciples of Renyan Sect, heed my command. Enter the secret realm now." A gruff voice boomed from the sky. The disciples of various sects, still stunned by the spectacle, quickly regained their senses.

They lined up, walked to the bottom of the black abyss, and were instantly sucked in.

"Junior Sister, you should go too." Leng Xingzhi moved his right hand slightly, and a surge of spiritual energy gently lifted Chu Lingwei's body, sending her towards the bottom of the black abyss.

Chu Lingwei only felt her vision go dark. When she opened her eyes again, the scenery had changed.

The Hengtian Secret Realm was vast. Upon entering, they would be randomly teleported to different locations.

At this moment, she was standing in a pool of water.

Birds sang and flowers bloomed around her, and the spiritual energy was a hundred times more concentrated than outside.

"Weiwei, why isn't this water moving?"

Last time, she had sent Weiwei into a small river. Feng Ming saw the pool of water at Weiwei's feet and immediately became nervous.

Chu Lingwei stood up and leaped, landing on the ground.

Feng Ming breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, this pool was not some illusion.

"Weiwei, there are spirit herbs ahead." Feng Ming fully utilized its abilities, sensing the strong scent of spirit herbs ahead, its eyes lit up.

Chu Lingwei stood still, her gaze fixed on the pool of water where she had just been.

"Feng Ming, don't you think there's something different about this pool?"

Feng Ming's small body trembled violently. It immediately jumped onto Chu Lingwei's shoulder, staring intently at the pool.

"No."

Chu Lingwei walked to the front of the pool, her reflection appearing on the water's surface.

Looking at the reflection in the water, Chu Lingwei's heart skipped a beat. Why did this reflection feel like it wasn't her own?

Impossible.

This body was already hers, and such a situation should not occur.

Chu Lingwei sent a surge of spiritual energy towards the pool. Water splashed up, but the reflection in the water remained unchanged.

"The reflection in the water isn't moving." Feng Ming saw that the reflection in the pool did not move and leaped forward, spewing Netherfire towards the pool.

"Feng Ming!"

Chu Lingwei wanted to stop it, but it was too late, for she saw that the surroundings had already transformed.

All around were withered bones, human and beast alike. White banners fluttered, and the wind whistled, exuding an eerie aura.

"Illusion!"

Such a realistic illusion, Chu Lingwei cursed her bad luck inwardly.

Her luck was truly something else, to have encountered such a powerful illusion.

"Weiwei, let's get out of here quickly." Feng Ming spewed Netherfire at a withered tree in front, but its fire was extinguished before it reached its destination.

"Alright, let's leave this place first."

Chu Lingwei nodded. Senior Brother had warned her before they departed.

Although the Hengtian Secret Realm was only for cultivators of the Spiritual Movement Realm and Spiritual Wheel Realm, some dangers within it could not be handled even by experts of the Three Heavens Realm.

Do not force your way through eerie places.

Chu Lingwei summoned her Phantom Silk Veil and jumped onto it with Feng Ming. After taking only two steps, roars of wild beasts came from the front, the ground shook, and the surrounding spiritual energy began to warp.

This wouldn't do.

Chu Lingwei jumped off the Phantom Silk Veil. She could not leave for now; she could only fight.

Feng Ming flew beside Chu Lingwei, vigilantly observing the surrounding scenery. The roars grew closer, and Feng Ming's eyes slowly turned red, its body also beginning to turn red.

Chu Lingwei held the Ice Jade Cold Frost Sword. As long as they were still within the illusion, there must be an array eye. Once the array eye was found, the problem could be solved easily.

Chu Lingwei recalled the small pool where she had been teleported. Everything moved, except for that place.

Finding that location, she swung her long sword, and spiritual energy shot out from the tip.

"Ah!"

A faint sound reached her ears, causing Chu Lingwei's mind to shake.
