Rumble~
Flesh and steel collided directly.
Seven or eight dire wolves slammed into Kosso's body with all their might, but just the armor he wore weighed 8 tons. Combined with his own nearly four tons of terrifying body mass, these wolf cavalry might as well have crashed headlong into a mountain, and both sides were charging, making the impact even more devastating.
In that instant, the dire wolves and the Beastmen riders atop them exploded into pieces, their lives extinguished before they even hit the ground.
Kosso held two enormous blades, each five blades long, with spines thirty centimeters thick. Their edges shimmered with deadly light.
They were crafted by Valen, the grandmaster smith, using every material available in Dawn City.
Perfect grade weapons.
With Kosso’s monstrous strength, these two long blades were like meat grinders of death in his hands.
This Bronze Cyclops’s swings exceeded ten tons of force. At full strength, he could reach several dozen tons.
Any wolf cavalryman hit by either of the blades died instantly. Even a blow from the blade’s spine would crush every bone in their body, rendering them completely incapacitated.
It was like an ‘Unstoppable’ mode in a game, utterly overwhelming.
From a bird’s-eye view, hundreds of wolf cavalry charged Kosso recklessly from all directions.
But Kosso’s thick armor was tougher than their fangs were long. Their attacks barely left faint white marks on its surface.
The Beastmen knights’ weapons, when they struck him, would sometimes even rebound and fly from their hands, completely unable to inflict the slightest damage.
And Kosso’s immense strength meant that even with dozens of wolf cavalry pouncing on him, they couldn’t slow his movements in the slightest.
It was like moths to a flame.
With every swing of his blade, Kosso claimed at least one wolf cavalryman's life.
At that moment, he was death incarnate.
And the sheer number of enemies meant he never had to worry about missing his target.
All he had to do, was keep swinging.
Kosso's outrageous killing power even caused a blood mist to fill the air. Before one wolf cavalryman's blood had finished spraying, the next burst high into the sky, several blades tall.
The entire scene was bloody and explosive.
The power unleashed by this armored Bronze Cyclops was beyond imagination!
Inside the Dwarven city.
Castro was unleashing the fury within him. As a dark lifeform, even though he had been fused with the power of Holy Light through divine faith, his essence remained that of a dark being.
Slaughter was his nature.
The ecstasy of taking lives intoxicated him.
“Pitiful Beastmen, fall into ruin beneath my master’s feet.
Only death can bring you eternal peace.”
After a dive attack, Castro soared back into the sky. He looked back at the street he had just devastated, his high-pitched voice echoing above the city.
“Embrace your fate.”
The night was his domain. And death walked beside him.
Spotting another street where Beastmen were gathering, Castro flapped his wings and dove once again.
When he reached a height of one hundred blades, his massive maw lined with fangs opened wide, bang, bang, bang,
Like a dragon’s breath, a barrage of fireballs blasted forth in dense succession.
Boom boom boom~
The houses below exploded on impact, erupting into raging fires. The searing flames lit up the dark night sky.
The furious Beastmen had no time to react. Castro’s massive body had already descended. Clad in razor-sharp armor, his body was a weapon more terrifying than any spell.
His bladed wings could slice through any weapon not of perfect quality. And the Beastmen below, whether armor, weapons, or shields, were all shattered beneath his wings.
This street was only ten blades wide, but Castro didn’t hold back. His massive body plunged straight into the narrow street, the 16-blade wingspan far exceeding its limits.
But he was fearless.
His bat-like wings stabbed into the houses on either side, cutting through the middle.
The blade-wings were incomparably sharp. Even sturdy Dwarven stone buildings were cleaved apart with ease.
The scene was outrageously dramatic.
From the front, one could see Castro diving into the narrow street, charging through as both sides of the street collapsed into rubble. Countless beams and stones were blasted into the air, and clouds of dust billowed around the newborn king's figure.
It was as if Castro arrived shrouded in endless dust.
The flames from the exploding fireballs didn’t die out in the dust, they only burned more fiercely.
Destruction was Castro’s very name at this moment.
This newborn king had just declared his power to the world for the first time.
Over two hundred Beastmen perished with the destruction of that single street.
After soaring past the end of the street, Castro took flight once more.
Just then, a massive figure leapt from the rooftop of a nearby building. In the instant Castro rose into the air, a sharp longsword drove straight toward his chest.
Craig Shadowhunter, a Level 16 Wolfman warrior, his pale blue eyes gleamed with cruelty.
This beast’s life, he was going to take it!!
Like all wolves, their hunts were often concealed in shadows, waiting to deliver the fatal strike when the prey was at its most relaxed.
And the moment Castro began to rise after his dive was precisely when he had exhausted his strength and hadn’t yet gathered new force.
Craig could already envision the moment his longsword pierced the opponent’s heart.
Victory would ultimately belong to the Beastmen!!
When Castro saw the figure suddenly leaping from the shadows, he was startled! He had no time to dodge before the longsword stabbed straight into his chest.
Clang~
The longsword that had accompanied Craig through decades of battle shattered instantly before his disbelieving eyes!
At that moment, he looked up sharply, just in time to meet Castro’s lowered gaze. In the beast’s eyes, Craig even saw unmistakable mockery.
As they passed by each other, the unwilling Wolfman slashed fiercely with his claws across Castro’s abdomen, screeech! A piercing sound rang out.
Unscathed.
Aside from a few white scratch marks, Craig’s claws, sharp enough to tear through steel, couldn’t do any damage to Castro’s armor.
Whoosh whoosh~
By the time Craig landed and looked up again, Castro had already flapped his massive bat wings and soared back into the sky.
Leaving only the furious yet helpless Wolfman behind on the ground.
Hoo~ hooo~
The sound of the war horn echoed through the skies above the Dwarven city.
