Maya Spencer didn’t notice Lillian Morris watching her. She felt Liam Spencer’s enthusiasm and reached out her small hands, gently encircling his neck in response.
Then, Liam picked Maya up, letting her legs wrap around his waist, and walked toward the room just like that.
Lillian watched their intimacy, knowing Liam was deliberately putting on a show with Maya, aware that Lillian was behind them.
In the stairwell, Lillian sat on the steps, wanting to impulsively take Maya away, but Maya’s cautiousness stopped him. Even if he didn’t care about the Morris Clan Group, he couldn’t ignore Maya’s feelings or the Hanson Clan Group.

"Maya wants to start from the bathroom," Liam said, then carried her on his shoulder and headed to the bathroom.
Maya knew she couldn’t avoid this situation, so she didn’t struggle and cooperatively went along with him.
After several intense sessions, Maya weakly lay on him, blinking her big eyes and asking, "Can I rest tonight?"
Seeing she wasn’t asleep, Liam knew she was about to engage him in negotiations and discussions.
"Maya has been so good today. I could consider it."
"Third Brother, that...that...can I not attend tonight’s banquet? I’m afraid Grandpa will lecture me again." Lillian had invited her to meet at 9 PM, and the banquet wouldn’t be over by then, and everyone would definitely socialize late into the night, so she used Grandpa as an excuse to decline.
"If you don’t go to the banquet, what will you eat?" Liam lifted her chin, looking directly into her eyes.
He had already guessed she had plans with Lillian, but Liam didn’t expose her and instead pretended to consider her excuse.
"I can order food and eat here in the room, and then wait for you to come back." The more obedient Maya acted, the more guilty she felt.
Liam looked at her pitiful eyes and, after a long gaze, finally relented, saying, "Alright."
When Maya saw that Liam agreed to her request for leave, her eyes widened in surprise; she hadn’t expected him to agree so easily. Instantly excited, she wrapped her arms around Liam’s neck, climbed onto him, gave him a big kiss, and happily said, "Thank you, Third Brother."
Watching the joyful Maya, Liam couldn’t feel happy, he just gently held her in his arms, without saying a word for a long time.
"Third Brother, don’t be upset! I’ll wait for you to come back," Maya, feeling guilty, kept acting cute to win his favor.

At 8:30 PM, she changed out of her pajamas and went out.
When she arrived at the hotel’s beach as Lillian had mentioned, he was already waiting for her.
Due to the cool weather and with the hotel hosting a banquet, there were no other tourists on the beach.
Maya saw Lillian’s silhouette from afar, and a sea breeze made her shiver, her anxiety increasing as she feared Liam might return to the suite at this time, despite the low possibility.
When she reached behind Lillian, she softly called, "Brother Morris."
Lillian stood facing the sea, with his back to Maya. It wasn’t until she called "Brother Morris" that he suddenly turned around, looking her up and down, saying, "I thought you wouldn’t come."

Lillian said, "I heard about your situation from Ella Turner. Maya, you didn’t trust me."
