Chapter 1473: Chapter 1473: Kissing Him Like Crazy

Jasmine Yale nestled motionlessly against Sylvan Cheney’s chest, relying solely on his presence.

She felt so cold, but his chest was warm.

Being close to him, she could feel a bit warmer.

Sylvan Cheney’s large hand gently stroked her hair, holding her, his expression somber.

Jasmine’s throat felt choked, unable to breathe in or out, her eyes remained red.

Although she had no significant interactions with Zaiden Santos… at least he was someone she knew.

“Are you going to visit the Santos Family?” Jasmine asked in a soft whisper.

“I don’t have time recently; Evan Guerrero will handle this matter.”

“What about Zaiden’s grandfather? Will he find out?”

“For now, no one will be told. Zaiden’s grandfather is elderly and not in good health; he couldn’t bear such a blow. No one will speak of it; Evan will take care of everything in South Afrika.”

“Why did he have to go to South Afrika… Isn’t Landon good enough?” Jasmine felt heartbroken.

Sylvan Cheney understood who Jasmine was referring to.

He replied indifferently, “When Zaiden went to South Afrika, the Cheney Family was extremely busy, and I wasn’t paying much attention. He didn’t say goodbye to anyone when he left Landon.”

Jasmine found herself at a loss for words for a moment.

Her emotions seemed to fluctuate much more than Sylvan’s.

Suddenly, the image of Little Candy appeared before her.

The lively and adorable little girl, bouncing around, resembled Zaiden Santos so much.

As soon as Jasmine closed her eyes, the image of Little Candy would come to mind.

No wonder Aunt Waverly said on the phone that Xiao Ya had cried all day today… It turns out they’re connected by blood.

“Don’t think too much about it, this matter doesn’t concern you,” Sylvan caressed her hair, “I’ll handle everything that needs to be handled.”

“I know.” Jasmine wrapped her arms around his waist, “Just feeling a bit upset.”

She also knew why she felt so distressed.

She was afraid, afraid that one day Sylvan Cheney would not want her anymore.

She could still hold him now, snuggle in his embrace, but if he no longer wanted her, whom could she hold then…

“Don’t overthink it.” Sylvan Cheney, accustomed to complications, seemed extraordinarily composed.

Suddenly, Jasmine climbed onto the couch, wrapping her arms around his neck, and sought his lips, planting a fierce and proactive kiss upon them.

“Jasmine Yale…” He frowned.

However, Jasmine did not cease her actions.

She kissed him, nibbling at his cool lips.

Fearing loss, fearing that hollow feeling.

Life is too long, and without a loved one by one’s side, how could one endure the endless lonely nights.

This kiss was reckless.

She was afraid.

Her little hands roamed over his neck and chin, kissing him intensely and deeply.

This was the first time she kissed him with such frenzy; as she did so, her hand slipped into his sweater, against his chest.

Her hair became disheveled, and her breath was erratic.

But, she didn’t care about anything else and only wanted to kiss him.

In the depths of Sylvan Cheney’s eyes, a dark glow emerged, and no matter how rational he was, he couldn’t resist Jasmine’s charms.

Rationality was slowly overtaken by desire.

Jasmine attempted to press Sylvan Cheney against the couch, but in the end, it was she who ended up beneath him.

His deep voice, slightly hoarse and subdued, as his piercing eyes locked onto hers: “Do you want it?”

Jasmine nibbled at his lip: “Isn’t it obvious?”

She wanted him, wanted to possess him.

Only the closest proximity could truly reassure her that he was by her side.
