Chapter 1906: Chapter 1906: Weakness
Mafei’s phantoms appear fragile, but their attacks are anything but weak, constantly injuring Shan Na Fanghua.
If it weren’t for Shan Na Fanghua’s ability to constantly replenish her blood and kill phantoms to restore a certain amount of health, she might have already been slain by the ever-emerging phantoms.
“Give up, you can’t defeat me. My phantoms are endless, and you can’t find my true form,” Mafei mocked.
Shan Na Fanghua sneered, “This trick is strange. Though I don’t know the specifics, I imagine it can’t last long and is a transformation skill with a very long cooldown. Also, you’ve used an array to bolster it, clearly showing you’re not well-versed in this skill. When I first mastered some sort of secret or transformation skill, I also needed the help of an array. By analogy, you’ve just learned this skill. Claiming you’ve never revealed it before is truly a joke.”
Mafei was immediately lost for words. He never expected Shan Na Fanghua could deduce most of his trump card based on these clues, seeing through even his attempt to show off. It was quite embarrassing.
He had no idea; because of his strong abilities, he was constantly praised and had never seen the tricks of guild leaders or executives. His deep loyalty to the super guild might not be solely due to their methods.
Those who accomplish things all have these abilities, something a tech guy like him can’t comprehend or know about.
Mafei’s guild leader couldn’t help but curse inwardly but said loudly, “Stop arguing with him. You’re not good at it, so why attack his strengths with your weaknesses?”
Mafei instantly composed himself, chuckling coldly, “No matter what, you are ultimately not my opponent, even if you are a master of words. You can heal, but is your mana endless? I want to see how long you can last. Not to scare you, my transformation, though with a long cooldown, can last up to six hours after transformation.”
Shan Na Fanghua sneered, holding her weapon high.
Crack!
Once again, endless golden lightning fell from the sky. A massive Holy Light Thunder Sword formed in her hands and then plunged into the ground.
Crackle…
Electricity rampaged, and the phantoms burst instantly, clearing all nearby enemies.
“It’s useless, how long can your ultimate last, and how many times can you use it?” Mafei scoffed.
“Ha, ridiculous. No profession could be invincible. Even Prairie Fire doesn’t claim invincibility, let alone you. I think I’ve found your weakness.”
Shan Na Fanghua killed many phantoms, fully restoring her health, but she paid no mind to this. In her palm appeared an item glowing with a faint green light.
She casually tossed it, and the fingernail-sized object soared into the air, hovering two yards above Shan Na Fanghua’s head. Only then did the crowd see that it was a deliberately shaped lantern.
As the lantern floated, a gentle yet eerie green light covered a hundred-yard radius, turning the entire area green.
Then Shan Na Fanghua moved her steps, shattering one phantom after another, and this time the phantoms didn’t even have time to attack.
“I have to admit, your profession is quite impressive. These phantoms, though low on health, have high attack power and appear and disappear without a trace. Without this lantern, I wouldn’t have handled it easily. Of course, if your spiritual power were strong enough, even if the lantern let me foresee the phantoms’ trajectories, I couldn’t do much. But sadly, you are too arrogant. As the top expert of the super guild, your spiritual power is so weak that you can’t even multitask now. Naturally, you can’t unleash the full power of this skill. So unfortunate, truly unfortunate.”
Though Mafei’s expression was unseen, everyone knew he must be infuriated as Shan Na Fanghua bluntly pointed out his biggest weakness.
He was a proud person, always considering Li Yao his imaginary rival.
Li Yao had praised the benefits of powerful spiritual power, so much so that even the developers regarded powerful spiritual power as an important standard of strength.
But he was unconvinced, thinking his skills were no less than Prairie Fire’s, and he even wanted to challenge him.
Thus, wanting to establish his own path to power, using the opponent’s methods to become formidable wouldn’t prove himself stronger than Prairie Fire.
Despite the guild’s persuasion, he sought alternative methods while others trained their spiritual power. In his view, as a Berserker, combat skills were fundamental, while spiritual power was something the magic classes needed to consider.
Upon receiving this legacy, he discovered he couldn’t master these phantoms without sufficient spiritual power, so he started training his spiritual power secretly.
Yet, training spiritual power isn’t a quick affair, and falling behind for nearly half a year isn’t easily remedied.
Despite dominating several guild internal battles, he felt reassured and believed he still had time.
However, making his external debut today, he was exposed, his flaws revealed, making him furious.
“Haha, so much nonsense. Let’s talk about philosophy when you defeat me.” Mafei’s voice and form suddenly appeared above Shan Na Fanghua, and he violently struck the lantern.
The light dimmed instantly, and the lantern shrank back into Shan Na Fanghua’s palm.
“Now that you’ve lost that ghostly thing, let’s see how you fight,” Mafei’s figure disappeared before landing.
“Calling you naïve, and you truly are. Do you have nothing but skills and no brains? Since I’ve discovered your flaw, breaking my lantern is pointless. If I’m not mistaken, your skill and transformation are significantly weakened during the day.” Shan Na Fanghua remained calm, unaffected by the phantoms’ rage.
“Shut up,” Mafei yelled angrily, feeling profoundly shaken. On his first public appearance, failing to defeat the opponent, he’d been thoroughly analyzed. The feeling was unsettling.
“Haha, already infuriated?” Shan Na Fanghua sneered as soft Holy Light enveloped her, “What about now?”
Boom!
Holy Light Burst erupted around her, the endless light dispelling the darkness. An angel’s illusion descended rapidly.
Two golden Angel’s Wings unfolded behind Shan Na Fanghua as the angel’s illusion and Shan Na Fanghua became one.
Shan Na Fanghua floated, her hand reaching toward the sky, the gentle Holy Light capable of dispelling all shadows and darkness. The current light was even brighter than the green lantern.
“Now that your weakness has been exposed, how could there only be one way to deal with you?” Shan Na Fanghua’s wings flashed as her figure suddenly vanished, “I’ve found you, now die!”
