Chapter 202: Chapter 112: She Always Knows How to Drive Him Crazy 4

"Hmm."

Christine clapped her hands, "Okay, you didn’t eat much for dinner, I made some soup for you, come down and have a bowl."

"Alright."

"Come on then!" Christine headed downstairs first.

"Thanks, sis."

At night, lying in bed, Rebecca Quentin’s thoughts were like a tide.

Her mind was filled with the talks she had today with Howard Geoffrey...

To be honest, although chatting with him was not pleasant, she somehow felt that he was not here to make trouble this time...

What on earth did he mean by those last words?

It didn’t sound like a threat, but it’s also unlikely he was blessing her!

She’s really troubled, whenever he appears, her life becomes a mess.

Annoyed, she hid under the covers, letting the darkness lead her into sleep.

The next day.

Marilyn Quinn was knocking on the door outside.

"Auntie, Auntie, Mommy asked you to get up for breakfast."

"Got it." Rebecca Quentin responded from the bathroom, where she was freshening up.

"Hurry up!"

After getting dressed, Rebecca Quentin came downstairs.

With her belly getting bigger, she always walked carefully, which amused Marilyn Quinn, "Auntie, you’re so slow, by the time you reach the dining room, the breakfast that Mommy made for you will be cold!"

Amused by Marilyn Quinn’s words, Rebecca Quentin couldn’t help but complain to Christine, "Sis, look at your daughter, she’s already teasing me."

While putting breakfast into the dishes, Christine said, "Marie, your Auntie has a baby in her belly, that’s why she’s walking slowly."

Marilyn Quinn walked up to Rebecca Quentin, gently placing her ear against her belly, asking, "Auntie, is the baby good?"

Rebecca Quentin nodded, "Yes, he’s very good."

Marilyn Quinn raised her innocent eyes to look at Rebecca Quentin, "Is he as good as me?"

Rebecca Quentin playfully poked Marilyn Quinn’s cute little nose, saying earnestly, "Of course not as good as you, Marie is the best."

"Mommy, you see, Auntie praised me, and yet you always say I’m not good..."

Christine came out of the kitchen with breakfast, shaking her head and smiling, "Stop praising her, her tail is almost wagging up to the sky!"

Rebecca Quentin sat down at the table, "Marie is really good, it’s because of your good teaching, sis."

"Girls are easier to teach, boys are the headache... Rebecca, don’t let yourself have a little mischievous little devil, that will really wear you out."

Rebecca Quentin laughed and replied, "I don’t think so, he is very good now."

Christine frowned, "Very good? Didn’t you say he’s tumbling in your belly all day?"

Rebecca Quentin nodded, "Yes, he is!"

Christine shot Rebecca Quentin a glance, "When I was pregnant with Marie, I didn’t have such frequent fetal movements, I think your son must have inherited his father’s mischievous genes, you’ll definitely have headaches in the future!"

Christine realized her mistake just after speaking, and stole a look at Rebecca Quentin.

A shadow of sadness flickered in Rebecca Quentin’s eyes, but nothing unusual showed on Rebecca Quentin’s calm face.

Christine quickly changed the subject, "Uh, hurry up and eat, the breakfast is getting cold."

"Alright."

Halfway through the meal, Christine noticed Rebecca Quentin had stopped eating.

Christine couldn’t help but ask, "What’s wrong? Is it that my breakfast doesn’t suit you?"

Rebecca Quentin shook her head, "You’ve made such a large portion, how could I finish it?"

Christine spoke seriously, "Hey, now you’re eating for two, isn’t it better to eat a bigger portion? Come on, eat it, I don’t want your baby to be born looking malnourished."

Rebecca Quentin caressed her belly, "No way, the doctor said he’s developing very well."

Christine said disdainfully, "You know, when I was pregnant, I was quite a big eater, not just a small plate like I made for you, even if it was two plates like this, I could eat them all!"

Rebecca Quentin chuckled softly, "So Marie turned out to be a little fatty when she was born, right?"

Christine hugged Marilyn Quinn, who was eating, and laughed, "Yes, I used to call her little fatty, worried she wouldn’t slim down in the future and nobody would want her. Unexpectedly, she slimmed down over these last two years, now I’m starting to worry she isn’t getting enough nutrition!"

"Mommy, I want to grow up to be as pretty as you and Auntie." Marilyn Quinn seemed to express a grand goal.

Christine and Rebecca Quentin both burst into laughter.

Ding-dong—

The sound of the doorbell interrupted the peaceful and joyful morning of the family.

"It must be Uncle Geoffrey, I’ll go get the door!"

Before Christine and Rebecca Quentin could react, Marilyn Quinn had already hopped over to the door and opened it herself.
