Chapter 90: Jack Ruthlessly Made It Hard for Yeliz
"What are you doing!"
The sound of her voice made Frank think he was hallucinating!
1999 was the place he and Yesmina used to like to visit before they got married.
They met on the college campus, when she didn’t know he was the heir to the Taylor Family.
Even less did he know that she was the daughter of the Sherman Family.
At that point, both sides were hiding their identities.
Fearing that going somewhere too upscale would put pressure on the other side, they found this tavern closest to the school.
At the time, it wasn’t even a bar, it was a place to play cards and chat.
Then Hiltonan changed, the school site moved, and so many of the little shops where they used to date disappeared, only this tavern stayed.
But they haven’t been here since they got married.
"You... It’s really you..."
Yesmina frowned, "What are you doing! If I had known you were drinking here, I wouldn’t have stopped such an important video conference."
Hearing these words from Yesmina, Frank’s eyes instantly lit up, "You, what did you just say?"
Yesmina had actually stopped a video conference for him?
Never before!
She used to be all about work and money.
She was too strong and career-driven.
Several times she hadn’t come home yet when Frank came home from his busy day.
Leaving Yvonne, who was still a baby, home alone crying for her mother.
And most of their conflicts were due to this.
Frank thought Yesmina was too careless of her family.
"I shouldn’t have bothered with you, you dead drunk, I should have left you to fend for yourself!"
"No..."
Frank smiled and took her hand.
"I can’t be left to fend for myself, you worry about me."
"No one worried about you."
"You blink quickly when you lie, and just now, you blinked."
At this point, Frank did not have a bit of hiding.
He was like a child who wanted to be recognized and loved.
Yesmina was getting annoyed by him.
Why was this man so annoying?
"I’ll call them to come to get you..."
"No..."
When Frank heard that Yesmina wanted to leave, he instantly became anxious.
Pulling her in urgently, then...
Yesmina’s eyes widened at what the man in front of her had done. "You..."
She looked at Frank in shock.
Only to see Frank with one arm around her waist, how dare he hugged her!
"Let go!
"Frank, we’re divorced!"
"If you want to leave, first sit down and have a drink with me!"
"No, I don’t want..."
Frank said and already started to pour the wine. "It’s our daughter’s wedding, drink once in a while!" The next day.
The sun shone through the glass window.
Yesmina woke up from the hotel bed.
Taking in her surroundings, she instantly screamed!
"Ahhh!"
What happened last night?
She looked incredulously at the man beside her who was still falling back to sleep.
Last night, she went to see him in 1999, then he dragged her along for a drink...
Then gradually she got drunk and they got into a fight.
"You dare say you were right back then?"
"What’s wrong with me working hard for my money?
"It’s you, Frank, you coward..."
"I’m not a coward!
"I pursued you back then!"
"But you don’t have the guts to pursue me back again!"
"How come? I’m going to get you into a hotel room now. Do you dare?"
"Of course!"
Then...
Yesmina now looked at the trace all over the ground.
It was tragic to recall what happened last night.
She sat on the bed holding her face while Frank was still huffing and puffing.
Yesmina kicked him up, "I came to save you with good intentions, but you actually took advantage of me!"
Frank was drunk early last night.
Dazed and confused, he opened his eyes and was also shocked at the sight before him.
However, instead of showing how angry he was, he smirked.
"You are awake so early!"
Yesmina took her foot and kicked him, "Who? Who is laughing with you, last night was a mistake, I will pretend that nothing happened!"
After saying that, Yesmina quickly put on her clothes and hurriedly left without waiting for Frank to speak and take a stand.
Frank was suddenly furious in the bed.
What was wrong with this woman?
I drank too much last night or I’m a human being.
So enthusiastic.
Nothing good to say this early in the morning now?
And she called it a mistake?
"I think it was a mistake for me not to kick you out of bed last night!"
"Bang..."
Yesmina was so angry that she simply slammed the door shut and ignored him again.
She was furious, and so was Frank in his heart.
Damn, that was not what he meant to say!
The handsome middle-aged man sat on his bed, scratching his hair in chagrin.
For the first time, Frank felt that coaxing a woman was such a tricky thing to do.
Obviously growing up he was the schoolboy, the playboy was popular.
Why was it that every time he ran into this woman, I lose control of my emotions? Another hotel room.
Last night, things happened everywhere.
The ground full of roses had turned into a mess from the various ravages of the two.
Yvonne was completely deflated this time.
On his wedding night, Zachary was more excited than ever.
Obsessed with him until he let go of her at dawn, Yvonne almost fainted.
Afterwards, Yvonne felt she hadn’t slept long before the man forced her to get up again.
Or rather, awakened by the rolling heat behind her.
In a daze, Yvonne felt that someone was making a move on her.
She frowned, sleeping restlessly, "Mmmm... Don’t do it, stop!"
Zachary didn’t want to sleep at all, as if he didn’t need to sleep at all.
He just wanted to keep looking at her, keep haunting her.
His hand kept being all over her.
"Stop it!"
Yvonne was fully awake because of what he did.
Only then did Zachary look at her with a smile, "Awake from your nap?"
"No, it was you that woke me up!"
Zachary smiled, "Get up, the first day, go meet your father-in-law."
Yvonne pouted.
She had to meet her father-in-law on the first day of their wedding.
She didn’t have to serve tea, but it was reasonable to do so.
Yvonne had nothing to complain about, but the thought of having to see Yeliz made her belly full of anger.
"I don’t want to see that woman!"
Zachary knew how she felt, "Don’t worry, I won’t let her bully you."
"Of course, you wouldn’t, but I get annoyed when I see her!"
"You don’t have to pay any attention to her later, okay?"
"Okay."
Yvonne knew that there was no way around it.
She couldn’t run from reality.
The Leinster Mansion.
It was already sunrise when Yvonne was up.
A few hours late from the appointed time, Yvonne was nervous, and as soon as she entered and met Jack Leinster, she apologized, "I’m sorry, Mr. Leinster, it’s because I was too tired yesterday and slept late."
Instead of blaming her for this, Jack laughed out loud when he saw this.
"It’s okay for young people to get up late, it’s all a formality, from now on you can just live your own lives with ."
"Okay!"
Yvonne thought to herself, Jack Leinster was legendary, but in fact, when contacted, he was still quite affable.
At least, he took care of herself.
"However, there has always been a rule for our family to get married."
Just then, Jack said.
...
"What’s the rule?"
Yvonne asked.
"Traditionally, the daughters-in-law in the Leinster Family have to live with their in-laws for the first three months of their marriage.
"After three months, you can live wherever you want, the parents won’t interfere." This rule had indeed been in the Leinster Family for a long time.
Many powerful families would require their daughters-in-law to live with their elders after marriage, but the Leinster Family, the most powerful of the powerful, did not force their daughters-in-law and sons to live with their elders after marriage; there was only a three-month time limit, and it was considered as doing their filial duty.
Seeing that Yvonne did not say anything, Jack Leinster added.
"Zachary has many houses in Hiltonan, and quite a few villas in other cities and other countries, so just pick the one you like best to live in when the time comes."
In any other case, Yvonne certainly wouldn’t refuse.
After all, it was only human to honor your in-laws after marriage.
But, she was different.
Her nominal "mother-in-law" was thinking of her husband every day!
Although Zachary hadn’t officially been with Yeliz either, it was upsetting enough that her husband was being missed every day.
Zachary said, "Yvonne is still young and has to go to school, and this is not close to her school.
"This regulation can be fulfilled after we get the marriage certificate."
His meaning was obvious, he wanted to help Yvonne convince his father that he could disobey the rules set down by the Leinster Family’s ancestors and not have to live for these three months.
How could Jack not know what was on his mind, "You are already husband and wife, even though you haven’t received a license yet.
"Yvonne is a little younger, but she’s also an adult.
"There aren’t many college classes, and she doesn’t have early classes next semester, so I’ll send someone to drive her every day, just more time on the road."
When Jack said this, the meaning was already clear, "Yvonne had to stay at home for the full three months."
Today was the first day at the door, and Yvonne didn’t want to leave a bad impression.
Thinking about it, she stepped forward, "It’s okay, that’s what I should do."
Jack immediately showed a pleased expression, "Although it is three months to do filial piety, our daughters-in-law will not need to do any work.
"You can still get up whenever you want, you don’t have to make it a point to get up in the morning, you can study and go out and play whenever you want, just like you’re at home."
Although Jack was macho, his machismo was used on his own wife, but he treated his daughter-in-law with indulgence.
Yvonne was a little touched in her heart.
Zachary was also touched because he had known how much Yvonne was rejected that, and she was actually willing to stay for him for three months.
"Well, since it’s the deal, in a little while, you can have your family send some of your necessities over in the next few days, and then Zachary will take you to the mall to purchase what you need.
"Yeliz."
Finally, Yeliz, who had been beside herself with little presence, was thought of.
Jack twirled the beads bracelet in his hand, seemingly without thinking, but in fact, it meant a lot.
"You go and get the rooms and stuff packed up so that Yvonne is comfortable for her first stay in."
Yeliz’s face was pale and she bit her lip so tight that it was about to bleed.
Yvonne and Zachary were now married.
The room, of course, was staying in Zachary’s room.
He actually asked her to clean up their wedding room, wedding bed...
"What’s happening?"
When she didn’t make a sound, Jack asked again.
"Wouldn’t you like to?"
"No... I was just thinking about which... set of sheets to change it."
"Then thank you."
Jack said, then got up and prepared to leave, "I should go and rest, just keep yourselves busy."
"Okay... Dad."
Now that they were married, it was time for Yvonne to change her address for him.
It was a bit awkward, but after calling out, it was obvious that Jack put on a satisfied
look.
"All right."
The crowd dispersed.
There was a sigh of relief from Yvonne.
She looked up at the tall man at her side.
"Whew, your dad is so harsh."
She saw Yeliz today and thought she hadn’t been punished for going so far yesterday.
Being the more sophisticated one, Zachary’s dad actually did this...
Ostensibly, he asked them to do their filial duty, but in reality, it was also to warn and punish Yeliz.
This punishment was simply worse than hurting people!
Three whole months.
Yeliz had to watch them display their affection for each other all the time! "Okay?"
Zachary didn’t understand why she said that.
With no one around, Yvonne said, "He must have seen that Yeliz is still into you, so he purposely asked her to do such a thing."
Zachary raised his eyebrows, ’’You don’t like her making your bed? "I’ll let her out if you don’t like it.
"She doesn’t deserve to be in our room."
"Not that I like it or what... But is that how you usually let her take care of you at home?"
Yvonne’s beautiful eyes were slightly narrowed, seemingly questioning him.
Zachary stroked her head.
"The doors are locked when I’m not home.
"Just like you."
Yvonne was speechless.
That was more like it.
Otherwise, the thought of her man’s things being cleaned up by another woman every day drove her crazy!
Since she had decided to stay, Yvonne immediately told Frank about it.
Frank didn’t have any particular opinion on the matter, just urging her to be careful, especially that Yeliz.
Then he told her to make a list of what she needed, and he’d send someone to pack it up and bring it to her in the next few days.
As for what happened between him and Yesmina that night... He did not say a word.
The Mall.
Yvonne and Zachary came today just to buy some other household items.
Although the Leinster Family was well prepared, they didn’t always use it.
Before entering the mall, when Yvonne got off the car, Zachary suddenly took out a card from his wallet.
"This card will be your credit card from now on, there’s no limit, you just swipe it." Although he said it casually, the card was done ages ago.
The card was painted with pink hello kitty, very cute and girly, brand new, and at a glance, it was specially prepared for her.
Yvonne felt a little embarrassed, "This... I am now in school, and I usually want anything, you will help me to pay the bill. I cannot use so much money."
Zachary shoved the card directly into her hand, then unbuckled his seat belt and prepared to get out of the car.
"The card is specially for you, and Mrs. Leinster doesn’t get a credit card, do you think it’s right?"
Yvonne answered, "How much can you accept me spending on me a month?"
"How much can you spend?"
Zachary smiled, exuding the smell of a mature and successful man.
"Nothing more than buying some bags and clothes and cosmetics and spending a few million a month like that don’t even need to talk to me.
"The finances will automatically pay it off for you."
Yvonne was shocked.
"Is that... You’re talking about in dollars?"
"Are you in Angria?"
Zachary smiled and asked rhetorically.
"Yes..."
"Then that’s the dollar."
Yvonne once again didn’t know what to say.
Being the president, millions a month... There was no need to question him.
But that was too capricious.
"You’re going to make me not want to work."
Yvonne felt embarrassed a little.
In the past, Frank spoiled her and gave her a lot of pocket money, but she would also be scolded if she spent it indiscriminately and exaggeratedly.
The highest record was over a million dollars spent one month, not for buying anything, and it was hard to spend that much money on anything.
That time was still in high school, she went to the nightclub to buy the kind of alcohol and dinner, and it cost a lot, Frank on the spot was so angry that he directly set her bank card limit.
She hadn’t spent a lot of money since her rebirth either.
That was a few million a month at least, and it was still a stretch for her.
She got so much pocket money and wanted to spend it very much.
"What’s on your mind?
"You not coming down yet?"
