Chapter 627 The Exiled Saintess of Light (60)

The elf's attitude surprised him, and at the same time, he became more curious about the Rose Viscount.

What had this Rose Viscount done to make the proud elf regard these ordinary humans with respect?

Along the way, he had witnessed many things that left him utterly astonished, further fueling his anticipation for this journey. However, upon reaching the outskirts of the Rose Viscount's manor, he learned that the Viscount was out.

Those within the manor did not disclose his whereabouts, but it was implied that he had gone somewhere significant.

He met the Rose Viscount's mother, Madam Santi. She was also a remarkably beautiful lady, and from her appearance, one could infer that the "Rose of the Holy See" must possess extraordinary beauty.

He stayed in the small town near the manor, which had been built with a large inn from its inception.

The Merman Prince and his retinue took up residence in this inn.

Upon entering the inn, they produced a large bathtub from their spatial rings, filled with seawater.

The Merman Prince immediately transformed his legs into a fish tail and submerged himself in the tub.

"Your Highness the Third Prince, this place seems quite different from others," one of the servants said, choosing his words carefully.

He felt that this place was indeed unique, unlike many human territories he had visited.

"Yes, it truly is very different." The Merman Prince planned to explore the surrounding territory first the next day before paying a visit to the Elf Prince.

He already knew before arriving that the Elf Prince was also at the manor, and rumor had it that he was even teaching at an academy here, which further surprised him.

"You don't need to follow me tomorrow. Go and explore this town. When we arrived today, I noticed many shops. See if there's anything worth purchasing here."

Even if there was nothing particularly special, he would still buy something. He was not short of money, and if spending it could improve the Rose Viscount's impression of him, it would be worthwhile.

"Yes, Your Highness." The servant agreed.

The Merman Prince buried himself in the seawater. "You should also return to your rooms and soak yourselves in water. I don't need your service here."

The servants acknowledged his words and withdrew from the prince's chambers.

Lin Yan and Morris flew to Dragon Island. She sat on his head, and he carefully ensured she was not exposed to the wind, nor did he fly too fast.

Lin Yan gazed at the scenery below as she sat on his head. Riding a dragon was far more engaging than flying in an airplane.

Upon arriving at Dragon Island, Morris led Lin Yan to his cave. This mountain range contained numerous vast caves, each inhabited by different dragon clans.

Upon his return, Morris let out a dragon's roar to announce his arrival, and then he guided Lin Yan into his cave.

As soon as she entered the cave, Lin Yan was greeted by a blinding golden light. She observed the casually piled treasures: scattered magic crystals on the floor, and gleaming weapons and armor. If she wasn't mistaken, there were quite a few legendary weapons among them.

Morris quickly tidied his cave, clearing a space for Lin Yan to set up her bed.

Lin Yan directly tossed her spatial ring to him, asking him to arrange her living space.

While Morris was organizing Lin Yan's belongings, a small dragon fluttered its tiny wings and wobbled in.

"Morris, Morris, you're back!" It was a juvenile red dragon.

"Joey, why did you come alone?" Morris expressed some dissatisfaction.

At this moment, Joey spotted Lin Yan and immediately changed direction, pouncing directly towards her.

Lin Yan held him in her arms, carefully examining his body. She even used the Holy Light spell to check him, fearing he might have any health issues recently.

Joey immensely enjoyed the sensation of being enveloped by the Holy Light spell; this warm, comforting feeling made him feel exceptionally good. He snuggled in Lin Yan's embrace, unwilling to leave.
