Chapter 38: Julian Had To Rest At Home Due To Injuries

After thinking for three minutes, Anindya finally had an idea.

"Yosh!, Let’s go home with me, Julian!" Anindya said with a smile.

"So this is what he was thinking T-T" Julian said to himself, tearing up.

Anindya pulled Julian’s right hand, but when they reached the exit of the school infirmary, Lavendina stopped her.

"Wait a moment, Lady Anindya~!" Lavendina said softly but firmly.

Anindya stopped walking, Lavendina approached her, and said,

"Lady Anindya, you can’t leave class because I have to report your activities to your father every 12 noon," Lavendina said softly.

As soon as she heard Lavendina’s words, Anindya’s face immediately turned pale. She turned slowly to Lavendina, then to Julian, then back to Lavendina.

"I-i-is this non-negotiable, Ms. Lavendina?" Anindya asked in a low voice and pleading eyes.

"I’m sorry, Lady... it’s standard procedure. If you leave school without official permission or an emergency, I still have to report it," Lavendina replied with a small, but firm, smile.

"And if your father finds out you left for this reason, you could be transferred to a school abroad" Lavendina continued.

Anindya became even more shocked, and she began to release her grip from Julian’s.

"I-I don’t want to be away from Julian T-T" Anindya said with a sad expression and a low but clear voice.

Julian, seeing Anindya’s sad expression, immediately smiled gently. He held Anindya’s head and stroked her hair, saying,

"Don’t worry, Anindya. I can go home by myself. You stay at school, don’t get into trouble because of me," Julian said with a smile.

"But... I won’t be calm if you go home alone 🥺" Anindya said with a sad expression and tone.

"Hahahaha, I’m not a kid anymore, Anindya," Julian said with a chuckle.

"Grrr!!... This is all Sagara’s fault! I’ll scold him later!" Anindya said with an angry expression.

"Come on, don’t blame Sagara, he just misunderstood" Julian said with a smile and stroked Anindya’s head.

"That’s what I like about you" Anindya muttered, her head lowered, her voice so low that it couldn’t be heard.

"Hmm? What did you just say, Anindya?" Julian asked, confused.

"N-Nothing!" Anindya replied, blushing.

"Alright, I’ll just walk you to the school gate" Anindya continued with a smile.

"Okay!" Julian replied with a smile.

Julian then turned to Lavendina and said,

"Thank you so much, Ms. Lavendina, for the treatment" Julian said with a smile.

Lavendina smiled, then approached Julian and gently held his injured arm.

"You’re welcome. If the wound still hurts, you can come here anytime~" Lavendina said with a sweet smile and a teasing tone.

Anindya, standing next to Julian, immediately pushed Lavendina back and said

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" Anindya shouted angrily.

"KYAA!" Lavendina shouted, being pushed.

Lavendina fell on the floor, then Anindya continued.

"DON’T YOU TRY TO FLIRT WITH HIM IN FRONT OF ME!" Anindya continued angrily, pointing with her right index finger.

Lavendina was shocked for a moment, then said,

"You’re so cruel, Lady Anindya... When you were little, you even called me ’Lavendina Big Sister’ when you played house!" Lavendina said sadly, covering her mouth with her right hand.

"T-THAT WAS WHEN I WAS JUST A KID!" Anindya shouted, embarrassed.

Julian couldn’t help but chuckle. Anindya, embarrassed, grabbed Julian’s right hand again and said to Lavendina

"D-don’t talk about my childhood anymore!" Anindya said firmly, pointing with her right index finger.

"Come on, Julian, let’s go!" Anindya continued, pulling Julian’s hand.

"O-okay" Julian replied.

The two of them left the school infirmary. Lavendina stood up and headed for the exit. As she reached the exit, she waved her right hand at the two, which was not far from the the school infirmary.

"See you~!" Lavendina said with a smile.

Julian waved back with a smile. On the way to Julian’s class, Anindya, who was in front of Julian pulled his hand with small steps, but her steps sounded irritated.

"Really!, how could Lavendina tease you when I’m around!!" Anindya said with an annoyed expression and tone.

"Maybe, Ms. Lavendina is just worried about her patients, you know" Julian said with a smile awkward.

Julian returned Lavendina’s wave with a smile. As they walked, Anindya was in front, pulling Julian’s hand with small steps, but her steps were like someone who was annoyed.

"Really, how could Lavendina tease you when I’m around!" Anindya said with an annoyed expression and tone.

"Ms. Lavendina is just worried about her patient, you know?" Julian said with a smile.

At that, Anindya stopped walking, released her grip, then turned around, and said,

"Hah?!, so you feel comfortable being teased by her, is that it?!" Anindya asked, narrowing her eyes.

"E-eh, no, I mean, since she’s a health teacher... I-it’s natural she’s always worried about her patients," Julian replied, worried about giving the wrong answer.

"Heee~, I see..." Anindya said, looking at him suspiciously.

Anindya stared suspiciously at Julian. Julian broke out in a cold sweat, worried he’d answered incorrectly, but fortunately, Anindya understood.

"Hmph! Okay then" Anindya said, turning her body forward.

"Haa..." Julian breathed a sigh of relief.

Anindya turned her body back and pointed at Julian with her index finger.

"But!," Anindya said, pointing her index finger at Julian.

"Be careful!, If I see you come to the infirmary without me, I’ll beat you!" Anindya continued, smiling menacingly and clenching her right fist.

"O-okay..." Julian replied with a worried expression.

Anindya put her arm around Julian’s right arm. Her threatening smile instantly transformed into a sweet, warm smile.

"Good~, let’s walk again~" Anindya said with a sweet smile.

After that, the two of them walked to Julian’s class.

As they climbed the stairs, Anindya stopped walking for a moment.

"Hmm? What’s wrong, Anindya?" Julian asked.

"Just a moment, I’ll text Sagara. I’ll give an excuse that I’m going to the restroom," Anindya said, taking her phone out of her pocket.

Anindya turned on her phone, opened WhatsApp, and started chatting with Sagara.

"Sagara, I’m going to be late for class. If the teacher is looking for me, just tell them I’m in the restroom" Anindya said in the chat.

After sending the message, Anindya put her phone back in her pocket, then said

"Okay, that’s it. Let’s continue" she said with a light smile at Julian.

"Okay!" Julian replied.

The two of them walked back.
