Chapter 37: The Identity Of Anindya’s Bodyguard At School
Afterward, Anindya sat back in her chair, crossing her arms and pouting angrily. Meanwhile, Julian expressed regret as he stroked his cheek where Anindya had slapped him. Lavendina, watching the scene, couldn’t help but chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. She quickly resumed her work, bandaging Julian’s arm. Once finished, she took a wet tissue from her pocket, intending to help soothe the pain on Julian’s cheek.
However, before her hand could reach Julian’s cheek, Anindya moved swiftly and slapped Lavendina’s hand away.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, HAH!?" Anindya said, resembling an angry cat.
Lavendina, startled, stepped back slightly and said, then said,
"Lady Anindya, you’re so mean~, I just wanted to soothe the pain on Julian’s cheek, T-T!" Lavendina said with a sad expression.
"No need!, Let me do that!" Anindya said, snatching the wet tissue from Lavendina’s hand.
Lavendina could only sigh deeply as she stared at Anindya, who was wiping Julian’s cheek with a wet tissue.
"A-ano... Anindya, thank you..." Julian said quietly, trying to defuse the situation.
"Hmph!, It’s also your fault for being too flirtatious!" Anindya said, still a little angry.
"Y-yeah, s-sorry, I just wanted to cheer Ms. Lavendina up," Julian said in a low voice.
"Watch out, if I catch you flirting with another woman!" Anindya said, dabbing the wet tissue on Julian’s cheek.
"Y-yeah," Julian replied quietly.
"WHY IS YOUR VOICE SO SMALL?!" Anindya said angrily.
Julian immediately sat up straight and replied.
"YES, I WON’T FLIRT WITH ANY OTHER WOMAN AGAIN!" Julian shouted.
"Good!" Anindya said firmly.
Lavendina, sitting on the other side, chuckled at this and then said,
"Lady Anindya, does your father know about this?" Lavendina asked.
The atmosphere immediately fell silent. Anindya stopped wiping Julian’s cheek and sat back down in her chair. Then she answered the question.
"N-not yet" Anindya replied quietly, lowering her head.
Julian was shocked to hear this, while Lavendina could only sigh.
"Haa... This could cause trouble if you don’t tell him" Lavendina said, touching her forehead with her right hand.
"R-relax, Papa is in Antarctica for a month, so still safe" Anindya said with a stiff smile.
"What about your mother?" Lavendina asked, looking at her seriously.
"If Mom already knows, she said it’s okay as long as you don’t overstep your bounds" Anindya said proudly.
"Geezzz... Madam really spoils her daughter too much" Lavendina said, holding her forehead with her hand and shaking her head.
Julian, who had been silently watching, suddenly raised his right hand.
"A-ano, sorry to interrupt your conversation, but I wanted to ask..." Julian said awkwardly.
Anindya and Lavendina turned to Julian, then Julian continued.
"Who exactly is Ms. Lavendina, Anindya?" Julian asked awkwardly.
"Ahh, I haven’t introduced Lavendina to you yet" Anindya said, looking at Julian.
"Ukhm!, So, she’s Lavendina Darmia (176 cm), one of my bodyguards assigned by my father to guard me at school, just like Lia and Sagara" Anindya said, introducing Lavendina 🤚.
"Nice to meet you, Julian~" Lavendina said with a sweet smile.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Lavendina" Julian said.
"The difference is that Lavendina only works as a doctor. So if I get injured, I just come to Ms. Lavendina" Anindya said.
"Aahh... I see..." Julian said, nodding his head.
"So, how many people does your father have assigned to this school?" Julian asked.
"Only three" Anindya replied with a sweet smile.
Julian was shocked, then said.
"What?! Only three?! That’s so few?!" Julian said with a surprised expression and tone.
"Don’t worry, because in the underworld, Lia is ranked first and Lavendina is ranked sixth, their rankings are among the Seniors. Meanwhile, Sagara is ranked sixth among the Juniors" Anindya continued.
"Ahh, I see..." Julian said, starting to grasp the situation.
Lavendina suddenly smiled, moved her face closer to Julian’s, and said
"And do you know who’s ranked first among the Juniors?" Lavendina asked excitedly.
"Wh-who is it, if I may ask?" Julian asked nervously because Lavendina’s face was so close.
Anindya pushed Lavendina’s face back and said
"Move aside!, Don’t get too close to Julian!" Anindya said angrily.
Lavendina immediately walked quickly toward Anindya, then put her arm around Anindya’s right arm and said
"Of course, Lady Anindya!" Lavendina said proudly.
"I-I knew it, hahaha," Julian replied with an awkward smile.
Anindya pouted at Julian’s words. She pulled away from Lavendina and pinched Julian’s right cheek.
"OW! OW! OWWW!" Julian cried out in pain.
"Why is your expression so normal, huh!?" Anindya said with an annoyed expression and tone.
"Aren’t you proud of me coming in first place!?" Anindya continued, her expression and tone irritated.
"A-AW!, T-That’s not what I meant! I-I just... knew you would come in first. Because you’re... so strong!" said Julian, whose cheek Anindya was pinching.
Hearing the compliment, Anindya immediately stopped pinching Julian’s cheek.
"Really?" Anindya asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Y-yeah, really. You’re strong, cute, and beautiful too" Julian said, nodding his head quickly.
Anindya’s face immediately turned red, and she patted Julian’s back, saying,
"Moo~!, You’re being sweet again!" Anindya said happily, patting Julian’s back.
Julian remained silent as Anindya patted his back, while Lavendina, watching from behind Anindya, couldn’t help but smile.
"The beauty of youth" Lavendina murmured with a smile.
Shortly afterward, The bell rang over the loudspeaker. It turned out Julian and Anindya had been in the school infirmary for too long
"It looks like there aren’t any student council members on duty, huh" Lavendina muttered, looking at the loudspeaker.
Lavendina patted her hand and said,
"Okay, Lady Anindya, it’s time to go back to class and don’t forget to return my jacket" Lavendina said softly.
"Okay, come on, Julian, let’s go back to class" Anindya said, taking off her infirmary gown.
After that, Anindya gently helped Julian out of bed. Julian then picked up his uniform, which he had placed on the table, and put it back on. When Julian was standing, Lavendina said
"Sorry, Lady Anindya, I think Julian needs to go home and rest so he can get better soon" Lavendina said with a smile.
"Hmm, you’re right" Anindya said, thoughtful.
Julian, seeing Anindya’s pensive expression, thought to himself
"Hoo~, that’s unusual. He usually throws a tantrum if anyone gets in his way" Julian said to himself, impressed by Anindya.
