Liu Buli spread his hands. "Most people become foolish once they fall in love. I used to think that even if Shen Muzhi was an absolute idiot, Dr. Shen was at least a normal person. But now I feel my perspective might have been slightly skewed. Dr. Shen has been dragged down to become foolish too."
As he spoke, Lu Wuming naturally nodded in agreement.
However, after making the gesture, he hesitated, then shook his head and refuted, "Not everyone is foolish. Master, you are still very smart."
"Of course, I'm smart."
Liu Buli snorted confidently.
Then, he looked at Lu Wuming with pity.
He really wanted to tell the other that "most people" actually included his own foolish disciple.
But then he reconsidered; this disciple hadn't started becoming foolish only after being with him. He hadn't been particularly smart to begin with, so blaming it on love didn't seem entirely reasonable.

Satisfied, he continued, "Master, you said that the male leads in novels can spend days and nights with the person they like. We've been together for so long, and last time, you kicked me out of the room after just one day. I... Ouch!"
His head was lightly struck, and his words at the crucial moment were forced to stop.

After walking for a short while, the two heard sounds from ahead. The rumbling, thunderous roars were like thousands of warhorses galloping, seemingly mixed with indistinct beast cries. Just listening to them, one could tell that it would be nothing easy to deal with.
Lu Wuming immediately caught up to Liu Buli's side and pulled him over, instinctively adopting a protective stance.
Liu Buli, however, calmly waved his hand and, pulling Lu Wuming along, continued forward. After a few steps, they saw a boundless sea.
Lu Wuming froze.
Liu Buli, on the other hand, chuckled. He pointed at the surging, ceaseless seawater ahead and said, "The book is at the bottom of the sea, and there are many monsters in the water. If you're ready, shall we go down now?"
