"What, you don't believe me?" Bai Qing sized up Zhang Xinyi from head to toe, a mocking glint in her eyes, as if it were only natural. "Do you think Mu Linjing would let your family off the hook after Gou Yin Zhan Yichen caused such a scene at the Zhan family?"
Bai Qing was deceiving Zhang Xinyi. While it was true that Mu Linjing had initially withheld Liu Xin's medical fees, she had eventually paid them. However, using this to fool Zhang Xinyi was the perfect strategy.

"It's my duty, Secretary Jessica." Wei Yumeng's eyes curved into a smile. She swept her gaze over the files piled on the floor, paused for a moment, and then continued, "If you have any questions about our department, feel free to ask me anytime."
Hearing her words, Bai Qing tilted her head to look at Wei Yumeng and pretended to be delighted.
"That's wonderful. I want to understand Manager Wei's department, which is why I asked you to organize the files. Since Manager Wei has time, why don't you prepare a report for me?"
"Certainly."
Wei Yumeng raised her eyebrows and met Bai Qing's gaze. The woman's smile was radiant, showing no signs of any ulterior motive.
