Chapter 21 The Feral Villain's Metamorphosis (21)

Shen Yue did not want to go inside and stay there; she still had her grand play of "playing with emotions" to plan.

She said it so nicely.

"I'm not leaving, I'll stay here with you."

Wei Jingzhou pulled at the corner of his mouth, holding the shovel and raising his eyebrows, "Are you staying here with me? Or monitoring me?"

Although he said it like that, the man couldn't help but tighten his grip on the shovel.

Shen Yue thought for a moment, then honestly said, "Both."

Wei Jingzhou's face darkened, and he said fiercely, "Get lost and don't be an eyesore here."

She didn't know why another man was unhappy, but Shen Yue didn't pay much attention. After all, the temper of a great villain was always unpredictable.

She obediently walked to a clean spot and watched the man shovel snow.

Wei Jingzhou's arms were very strong; after shoveling such a large pile of snow, his hands didn't even tremble.

After a busy morning, the snow on this patch of ground was almost completely cleared by the man's diligent shoveling. Shen Yue ran over to look at others and found that they hadn't even cleared half of theirs.

So she ran back and praised him.

"You're amazing."

With a clean and fair face, and clear bright eyes, the girl's smile made her eyes curve like a serene crescent moon, filled with admiration and worship for the person in front of her.

For some reason, Wei Jingzhou's face heated up, turning red, and he stubbornly said, "I don't need you to say it."

This piece of land was nominally Shen Yue's. It was cleaned so thoroughly and so quickly, and even received praise from the school.

Shen Yue smiled and accepted the compliments without any guilt.

Christmas was also approaching. The school did not allow such Western holiday activities, but couples would still celebrate outside.

Outside was also very lively. Snowflakes were sprayed on the transparent glass with paint, along with drawings of Santa Claus.

The Christmas tree was also decorated magnificently, with colorful lights flashing with a brilliant radiance.

In the bar, the mixed air was filled with the smell of smoke and alcohol, and the music was turned up to the maximum, almost deafening the ears.

Bai Bo stared blankly at the bar. The person beside him called him several times, but he didn't react.

"What are you thinking about? You're so lost in thought." Guan Shan asked.

Bai Bo, with lowered eyes, lit a cigarette, took a deep drag, and then squinted, his tone more serious than ever, as if after careful consideration.

"I've decided."

Guan Shan looked perplexed, "Decided what?"

Slowly exhaling the smoke, Bai Bo said faintly, "I'm planning to confess on Christmas Day."

"What?!"

Guan Shan's exclamation attracted many stares. He incredulously dug his ears, "Say that again."

Bai Bo ignored him, leaned back, and stared into the void, thinking about something unknown.

"What were you shouting just now?" the boy next to him asked curiously.

Guan Shan scratched his face, still somewhat disbelieving, "Bo Bo said he's going to confess."

The boy had the same expression as Guan Shan just now.

Wei Jingzhou, who was sitting aside playing games, also heard it. His brows furrowed, then quickly relaxed. He raised his eyes to look over, and an unspeakable sense of irritation welled up in his heart.

These people had been following Bai Bo for a long time and knew that he was a flirt with countless girlfriends, but they had never heard him say he was going to confess.

Bai Bo had never pursued anyone; girls always threw themselves at him. If he found them pleasing, he would agree; if not, he would refuse, just for novelty or fun.

But this time, seeing Bai Bo's demeanor, it seemed he was serious.

Several people were gossiping with their mouths agape, wanting to know who had such great ability to make the prodigal son turn over a new leaf.

"It's that Shen Yue, you all know her, right?" Guan Shan whispered, winking.

Several of them were from A University, so of course they knew Shen Yue. They instantly fell silent, as Shen Yue was truly pure and incredibly beautiful.

Even among those sitting here, several had confessed to Shen Yue, but without success.

Suddenly, they felt Bai Bo was reaching too high.

Guan Shan's intuition told him this matter was rather precarious.

Because he could sense that Shen Yue didn't have that kind of feeling for Bai Bo; it was always Bai Bo who was chasing after her.

Guan Shan hesitated, but still advised, "Are you sure you want to confess? Can you guarantee Shen Yue will say yes? What if you confess and you can't even be friends anymore?"

The smoke swirled, making Bai Bo's face look gloomy and indistinct. His voice was hoarse, "I'm afraid if I'm late, Shen Yue will be snatched away by someone else." 138 Reading Network

As he said this, he glanced at Wei Jingzhou, who was acting like a bystander, through the cover of the smoke.

Guan Shan felt that what he said wasn't entirely unreasonable, but people always had to consider the worst possible outcome.

Seeing Bai Bo's determination, Guan Shan didn't try to persuade him further. Instead, he sat next to Wei Jingzhou and asked him.

"Brother Wei, what percentage do you think is Bai Bo's success rate for confession?"

Wei Jingzhou looked down at his phone. The stark white light hit his handsome face, and his high nose bridge appeared cold.

Seeing that Wei Jingzhou was ignoring him, he thought he hadn't heard and repeated it.

Wei Jingzhou glanced sideways, "Are you very bored?"

Guan Shan shivered inexplicably, smiling foolishly and pretending to be oblivious.

The deafening sound also became jarring. Wei Jingzhou frowned tightly, the simmering anger in his heart making him look even more dangerous than usual.

He couldn't even play on his phone anymore. Wei Jingzhou picked up his jacket and prepared to leave.

Guan Shan grabbed him, "Brother Wei, why are you leaving so soon after arriving?"

Wei Jingzhou shook off his hand and threw out two words.

"Bored."

Then he left without looking back.

Although Guan Shan was thick-skinned, he clearly felt that Wei Jingzhou was acting strangely. He muttered to himself, why has Brother Wei's temper been getting worse lately? He was already a pretty terrifying person.

Shen Yue was dragged by Zhuang Wan'er and some friends to eat barbecue, but the next day she had diarrhea.

She felt completely exhausted, with red-rimmed eyes.

The system was frustrated and said, [What did I tell you back then? I told you not to eat too much, not to eat too much, but you wouldn't listen! Now you're suffering.]

Shen Yue lay on the bed, covering her stomach, pretending to be dead.

There weren't many classes today, so she asked for leave from the teacher and planned to lie down for the day.

At noon, she ordered takeout. The system told her not to order anything too flavorful, so Shen Yue ordered a bowl of vegetable congee.

Being monitored by the system to drink hot water, her stomach felt less uncomfortable.

Although her stomach hurt a lot, she really enjoyed eating yesterday, and then she couldn't control her mouth.

Seeing that Shen Yue wasn't at school, Zhuang Wan'er called to inquire. Hearing that she was unwell, she wanted to come over to see her, but Shen Yue refused. It was a minor matter anyway, and lying down for a day would be enough; there was no need for her to visit.
