Chapter 103: Ch 103 : An Academy
"So now I know who my mother is, huh," Sunny said, a sigh escaping his lips.
"Let’s focus on increasing strength. Now I know why other Gods are so behind me. I need to give them some strength too, otherwise fighting demons would only be harder in the future," Sunny thought.
"For that, I need faith," he whispered, a hint of playful exasperation in his tone.
This entire venture has cost him a lot; he only had three billion faith points left, a meager sum for a being of his stature.
"Time to go AFK," he said, and then sat on his throne to comprehend the Law of Manifestation.
In the seventh hour of the ninth day, Veridia was not just flourishing; it was thriving on an almost unimaginable scale.
The humans, whose population had now reached the two billion mark, were a testament to this growth.
Many would say it’s too much, but they had been on Veridia for around 650 years, and many old humans with high talent were still alive.
So instead of life and death being in a natural balance, life was flourishing very fast, thus every year, many humans were transferred to the Realm of Advancement to expand the area there too.
The elves, with a slightly less rapid breeding rate, were around a billion in population.
Sunny had mixed the elves of Zir into his own world, a calculated move to adapt and evolve them into a more formidable race by mixing the talents of both.
In return for Zir’s help, Sunny gave him faith points, which can help Zir to strengthen the world tree, or intervene in his world if needed.
But it was not like slaves trading or so, Zir’s world was met with demon invasion every now and then, and sometimes the elves there died fighting these demons.
And the elves that Sunny took from Zir, were the Children who became orphan at a young age, they were given to the Demigod of Elves to take care of.
As it had already been hundreds of years in Veridia since the elves from Zir’s world were integrated.
They had been flourishing well, they had started their own families, and these families were truly having the best possible talent.
All the children in their family possessed magic affinity of high grade, multiple magic-related talents, and even the talents of Sunny’s native elves.
Through these talents, the comprehension of new magic spells and complex arrays were created every now and then.
And Sunny already possessed the talent, Divine Comprehension, which would further increase the probability of life forms having comprehension talent and a full five times comprehension for every life form.
These would now further increase the creation of new spells and arrays in the future.
Similar to elves, humans were also continuously advancing.
Now, apart from the mana-powered pistons, engines, and vehicles like mana-powered trains, cars, and airships, they also created a scrybing-orb, which worked like a camera to record anything.
Apart from them, mana lasers were now quite popular among all the races.
Currently they were working on a mana heart, which could work similar to how mana veins work, produce mana infinitely.
For this venture, The demigod of Humans, even gave these researchers a manifested mana veins that could help them in this research of theirs.
The best discovery was still by the dwarves. They created a mana reservoir, which could absorb the mana from the surrounding, which is usable by any life form.
The mana absorption and usage were similar to an E-Grade mage for now, but as the technology advances more, this could be upgraded.
The use cases of this mana reservoir were infinite, as any life form, even without a mana affinity, could use mana.
The Machina race was currently upgrading the Golems sentinels, their strength was now comparable to a D-Grade body refiner.
They were creating and selling these Golems to different races, as these were a hot commodity for manual labor and heavy-duty work.
The beastfolks didn’t rely on technology like the other races.
Their primary focus was on body refining and magic.
But that doesn’t mean they didn’t have anything of value; they created many primal armors from the monsters and beasts that they slayed.
From these monsters and beasts, they also were developing many potions, totemic charms, and many other things.
The remaining races were also flourishing and trading many of the specialties of their races.
The merfolks, the only race in the grand ocean of Veridia, though not so useful for now in the Realm of Advancement, still maintained their usefulness.
All the demons that invaded through the water were slain by the merfolks and dragon borns. They also sold many herbs or items that were only available in the oceans.
In the central continent, which was the biggest among all the continents, in a bustling city surrounding the portal that led to the Realm of Advancement.
The city was called ’Haven’, a city filled with all kinds of races, from tiny pixies to the hulking giants.
Even the merfolks were present in this city, through the canals that these life forms created, while some merfolks even had oxygen masks, created by the dwarves.
Except for the colossal Titans, all other races were present.
And this city was connected with the capital of all the races, through the teleportation array, thus it was jokingly called the capital of Veridia.
This city possessed a grand academy, which was only open for those with good talents. For life forms with poor talent, there were other academies in the capital of their races respectively.
And currently in this academy, a half-elf was teaching a thousand students how to sense mana in the surroundings. "You all close your eyes, and concentrate," he said, his voice carrying the authority of a veteran mage.
"If you concentrate deep enough and apply the technique that I just taught, you will sense mana much sooner than the other traditional methods."
Then he began to check on the students one by one.
"And also, the one who sensed mana the fastest will win a secret hidden spell that I created myself," as he said this, the concentration of all the students broke, and they looked at their teacher with wide eyes.
