Chapter 639: Meng Siblings : Different Abilities
Once the men were dragged away, Lei Qian turned to look at Bai Meiyue and asked, "What’s going on?"
"We are about to find out." She told him. With a glance in his direction, she slowly walked to the room, where the energy ball was trapped. She looked at the many dents in the lock that she had hung outside the door and was so amused that she wanted to turn back and kick those men a few more times. They really dare to do anything on her own turf. It was bad enough that they snuck inside her mansion, but they even tried to open this door. It was a good thing that she asked Brother Zhan to lock this door up, or else who knows what might have happened?
"Step back," Bai Meiyue said to the two men and took out the key that she carried in her space. As she was aware that there were people who were trying to pry this door open, she didn’t dare keep the key anywhere other than the space. She pulled open the key and then placed it inside the door before turning it around and opening the door.
The door opened with a creak, and Bai Meiyue stared inside the room, along with Lei Qian and Bai Jixuan. The energy ball that had been fused had finally separated as if the hatchings inside were ready to hatch. One was pure black while the other was pure pink. The aura around the balls was now whirling so hard that it was creating a storm inside the room. Bai Meiyue closed one of her eyes and stared at the sight in front of her.
She waited for the storm to subside and only stepped when the aura started to flicker and turn faint. A few seconds later, she noticed the two balls of energy turning completely transparent.
"Suisui!" Bai Meiyue walked to the dark ball of energy and caught Meng Suisui, who fell like a puppet whose strings had been cut off. She also covered the woman with her jacket because she saw that the woman was naked. Meng Suisui, who had been relying on nothing but Bai Meiyue’s spiritual energy, was now as thin as a skeleton. Her skin was now hanging on her bones with no flesh. If not for the fact that the woman was breathing, Bai Meiyue would have thought that this woman was dead.
Beside them, Meng Qibao also stood up on his feet. Bai Meiyue glanced at the man, and her eyes widened in surprise when she took a look at him. Meng Qibao also seemed to realise his peculiarity; he tried to take a step as soon as Lei Qian let go of him, but the second he moved, he felt her feet staggering, and he nearly fell on the ground. But before he could kiss the floor, Bai Jixuan stepped forward and helped him up. Meng Qibao stiffened when someone touched his bare waist, and that too was a muscular arm. He raised his head and looked at Bai Jixuan and sucked in a breath when he saw the look in the eyes of the man.
It was as if touching him was bringing him pain, but at the same time, it brought him happiness. The look in the eyes of Bai Jixuan was similar to that of a beast who wanted to attack his prey, but as he was no beast, he had to stop and rethink his decisions.
"You... you need to take care of those horns of yours." Bai Jixuan sucked in a breath as he helped Meng Qibao straighten up.
