Gods Vanish on a Cloudy Day
Regarding update times (not an update, the next update will be at 0:00 AM)
During the new book period, updates are supposed to be at midnight and 11:30 a.m.
However, sometimes I feel the plot is very smooth, so I combine two chapters into one (more than 5,000 words), or even release two chapters consecutively (like today). Because there will be such situations in the future, I think it is necessary to say something to avoid readers waiting in vain.
Naturally, there won't be so many requirements once the book is released for sale, but in fact, before that, a new book usually updates 4,000 words per day, with each chapter being 2,000 words.
And the updates for this book are actually quite a lot for an unsold book. It is now at 280,000 words, with an average of 6,600 words updated per day. It will probably be around 360,000 words when it's released for sale.
The main reason is that with my writing style, 4,000 words a day is too slow for the plot's progress. If that were the case, I would probably only have finished the first volume by now, which is very frustrating.
When it's released for sale, there will be a burst of 10 updates. The release time is probably at the end of the month, or early October, I'm not sure.
I personally don't really like cliffhangers... but cutting a whole big chapter into two or three segments and updating them separately naturally becomes a cliffhanger. I only realized this today...
