Gods Vanish on a Cloudy Day

Chapter 24 Gods Do Not Favor Prayers

Chapter 1 "Innovation?"

Repeating this word, Aemon's face showed a blank expression. He didn't quite understand why his lord would say this word, which seemed completely unrelated to the current situation, at this time.

"Yes, innovation."

Su Zhou answered Aemon's words. He turned his head and looked at the group of people behind him.

Aemon stood by his side; Yarebo was still kneeling on the ground, mocking the Fire Folk Codex; Old Chuck was staring blankly at the center of the VIP room; the reviewing cleric had a confused expression, and the chief priest of Qixin City was bewildered, not knowing why he had suddenly appeared here.

At the same time, in the personal space, Sarah, who was playing with the Wisdom Tree, and the pirates who were working hard to farm and reclaim wasteland under the supervision of the Blade of Annihilation, also heard this word, heard Su Zhou's voice.

Innovation... what was that?

Su Zhou did not explain. He didn't say a word.

Then, the wind began to surge.

In an instant, countless cyan light spots danced, accompanied by a gentle whistling of the wind. Streams of wind spiritual energy visible to the naked eye spread around Su Zhou, like a bright cyan halo. Whether it was Aemon or the chief priest, Yarebo or Old Chuck, even the reviewing cleric, everyone in the VIP room was entangled by streams of wind.

As if a pair of wings had grown out of thin air, the wind came alive at this moment. It carried everyone floating in mid-air, and then took the surprised crowd away from the VIP room, flying towards the sky above Qixin City.

Only then could the startled shouts be heard from the nearby temple.

"Ah, what's going on?"

"The chief priest is gone!"

"An attack?!"

The voices of the clerics came one after another. They also noticed the figures flashing across the sky, but soon, Su Zhou and the others had crossed the city and arrived directly above Qixin Lake.

Qixin Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the central-eastern region of the Holy Fire Kingdom. Hundreds of rivers, large and small, converge here. It is much larger than any city on the Holy Fire Continent. Standing on the edge, it is almost like facing the ocean.

"This, what's going on?!"

The chief priest of Qixin City had lived here for decades, and he was so familiar with Qixin Lake. He quickly realized that in just a few seconds, he had gone from the city to the lakeside, and then from the lakeside to an area close to the center of the lake. This slightly out-of-shape Awakened One might not be so diligent in his cultivation, but his mind was definitely not bad. Apart from the initial exclamation, he immediately calmed down and easily calculated that his speed had exceeded several times the speed of sound, and the altitude he was currently at was more than four thousand meters.

Moreover, most importantly, the chief priest realized that his Chosen One strength was completely useless. It was the power that could have stirred up a great storm in Qixin Lake and brought down torrential rain, but now, whether it was his powerful mental strength or elemental power, all seemed to be cowering in his body, unable to move.

Especially the two great elemental powers of 'wind' and 'water,' the chief priest even felt that these two elemental powers in his body were not only motionless, but they were even cheering, leaping, wanting to jump out of his body, refuse his command, and pledge allegiance to the black-haired young man in front of him.

"I, I apologize!"

After all, he was the chief priest of a region. The chief priest of Qixin City was not a fool. He turned his head, his eyes swept over everyone, and when he saw Old Chuck, the chief priest suddenly understood. His mind was clear, and he instantly thought of a possibility.

So, without any hesitation, he directly apologized to Old Chuck, who had not yet understood the situation: "I'm sorry, Chuck, I went too far this time—I will convene a cleric meeting to pardon your sins, use divine magic to restore your hands, and compensate you for all the losses of your farms!"

"In addition to that, I will also compensate you with a large sum of money for the losses you have suffered recently!"

The chief priest's voice was so sincere that it was impossible to tell whether he was trying to muddle through or was being genuine.

"Indeed clever."

Hearing this, Aemon couldn't help but frown slightly.

According to the precepts and oaths in the Codex of the Covenant, Old Chuck should forgive him at this time—because the other party had promised to compensate him for things far exceeding his losses, and had not quibbled or denied, but directly admitted his mistake.

"Wh, what?!"

Even Old Chuck was temporarily distracted from the shock and fear of flying into the sky. The dark-skinned fisherman turned his head and looked in surprise at the chief priest who was smiling humbly at him. Although the other party was fat and found it difficult to bend over, he did lean forward, adopting a posture that was almost a bow of apology.

In response, Old Chuck couldn't help but waver obviously: "You, are you telling the truth..."

"Alright, I didn't come here this time to judge you, there's no need for such insincere apologies."

At this time, Su Zhou, who had arrived in the center of Qixin Lake, spoke. He said calmly, then turned his head and looked at the shrewd chief priest.

The youth stared at him. Overwhelming spiritual pressure stirred spontaneously, causing the chief priest, who had wanted to say something, to shut his mouth, his body trembling subconsciously. After kneeling for a while, Su Zhou smiled: "To be honest, I still have to praise you. The chief priest of Qixin City, you've done a great job in your official duties. Everyone in Qixin City lives and works in peace, and everyone's life is happy. After careful observation, I found that there aren't many resentments in the entire city. That is the proof of your achievements."

"Th, thank you for the praise..."

In response, the chief priest was a little apprehensive. He didn't know the origin of the black-haired young man in front of him, but he was obviously outrageously strong, possibly a newly advanced Blessed One. Unable to resist, he could only wipe away his cold sweat and smile obsequiously at Su Zhou: "This, Sir, I know I was wrong, and I am willing to apologize—I swear, my apology is sincere, I am willing..."

"Your evil originates from your heart."

But Su Zhou interrupted him. The youth's tone was calm: "I can hear your heart, so there's no need to lie to me. You are still just annoyed that I discovered you and that Old Chuck met me, rather than truly repenting. Your evil does exist."

"But the meaning of order, laws, and covenants is to prevent people's evil from running rampant."

Saying this, Su Zhou turned his head. He looked around the entire Qixin Lake—besides Qixin City, there were a total of six cities and villages of varying sizes by the lake, and even more towns and villages in the distance. They formed a dense network of towns.

Looking at these cities, Su Zhou said calmly: "No one in the world is perfect in heart. Who wouldn't have evil thoughts? But you acted on them, that's the mistake. Moreover, this isn't just your mistake, it's also a loophole in the world's order, a flaw in the laws and covenants."

"In the process of your wrongdoing, if any cleric had gone to all the farms by the lake to publicize the regulations, or if there were regulations stipulating that clerics must notify everyone involved in the law, you wouldn't have been able to commit evil."

"Sir, I..." The chief priest seemed to want to say something, his expression a little stiff. Although he still didn't feel like he was in danger of dying, a more unsettling feeling was spreading.

But Su Zhou shook his head, interrupting him once again.

"But the most important thing is, Edmund, you still don't think you did anything wrong. You think it's justified in procedure, not wrong, to use the rules to suppress people you don't like and drive them to their deaths. But what about morality?"

"Oh, I forgot, your love is an obligation, that is the law, not morality."

Saying this, Su Zhou smiled instead. He chuckled and shook his head: "First, you have to admit your mistake, and then you can correct it. If you can't admit your mistake before apologizing, repentance and admitting fault are just perfunctory."

As he spoke, guided by Lan Zhong, the group had already arrived directly above the center of Qixin Lake, an area seven thousand meters high.

Looking down from such a high place, it could be seen that except for some thin clouds and mist above Qixin Lake, there were no clouds for thousands of miles around. Apart from smoke and dust, there was nothing on the entire earth that could block the view.

Drought. An unprecedented drought.

This was a disaster affecting the entire world. Su Zhou could see that the cause of all this drought originated from the imbalance of the 'water element.'

Su Zhou reached out his hand, spiritual energy surged, and blessed everyone behind him. He bestowed his power upon them, allowing them to see the changes in the elements as he could.

Aemon opened his eyes. He was the first to adapt to the suddenly clear vision, which was magnified countless times. The gray-haired cleric was surprised to find that he could suddenly see the magic power filling the entire world with his naked eyes, as well as the elemental essences floating in the magic power. The four major elements—cyan wind, scarlet fire, brown earth, and blue water—existed in every part of the world, constantly undergoing cycles of reincarnation.

"This, is this the perspective of a god?"

He murmured to himself, then raised his head and looked in the direction Su Zhou was looking.

Then, the gray-haired cleric opened his mouth wide and stood there in stunned shock.

Aemon could see that a mighty blue river was rapidly flowing between heaven and earth, rushing eastward... That was the water element. Nearly endless water elements were breaking away from every corner of the world, receding. They were being stripped from their original elemental cycle, and then they were just flowing like that.

"This, what's going on?!"

"Why is the water element breaking away from the cycle and leaving independently?!"

"That's the direction of the sea! Sure enough, Yarebo, it's you pirates who are causing trouble!"

In response, Yarebo showed neither surprise nor ridicule. The great pirate just stared melancholically at the Far East, the direction of the sea, and then sighed deeply.

"The ritual has indeed been completed. Even if I failed, it was still enough..."

Su Zhou was not surprised by this.

He had long known that all the water elements in the world were surging towards the sea—just like at the end of the cycle in the Tartarus world in the past, the elemental balance between heaven and earth was gradually moving towards an extreme. If it went further, it would be the final doomsday.

There were more and more droughts like this throughout the Holy Fire Continent, so much so that more than twenty Blessed Ones and all the cleric teams had to do their best to rescue, just like around Qixin City, where more than a dozen cleric teams would come here to use elemental magic to store water, and then go to distant places to bring rain and alleviate the drought.

Edmund, the chief priest of Qixin City, was the local person in charge. He could plan all the teams and actions well and make everyone satisfied. He was indeed capable.

But it was even more terrifying when capable people did evil, because it meant that very few people would discover it.

"Look."

Without saying much, Su Zhou raised his hand and pointed to the blue river of elements, saying calmly: "That is the root of all things."

"Something big is happening in this world. The elements are imbalanced, and the world is gradually moving towards a similar doomsday as the previous era."

"And this major event is causing many small problems, such as river channel siltation, droughts, and famines."

"And from these small problems, even more evils will arise, just like Edmund taking the opportunity to harm Old Chuck. In turbulent situations, one can always find opportunities to commit evil that one cannot find in normal times."

Saying this, Su Zhou turned his head and looked at Old Chuck and Chief Priest Edmund, and then shifted his gaze to Yarebo and Aemon. Even the reviewing cleric was glanced at.

"The meaning of order and laws is to curb these evils, such as the mistake Edmund made. The meaning of the officialdom and the Central Sanctum is to solve river channel siltation, droughts, and famines."

"As for bigger things, generally speaking, there's no way to solve them—but doesn't this world have gods? The meaning of gods is to solve these big things."

When Su Zhou said this, he carried a hint of dissatisfaction: "I really don't quite understand what Elias and the Wind God are doing. Can't they see that the current situation is not right? Only when the granaries are full will people know etiquette, and only when the world is at peace will there be no crime. Gods should shoulder their responsibilities!"

But even Su Zhou knew that Elias's current situation must be wrong, otherwise, the commotion he caused when he descended would have brought him here immediately... It was precisely in order to figure out what Elias's current situation was that he planned to go to the Central Sanctum to see what was going on.

"Aemon, if I let you adjudicate the matter between Chief Priest Edmund and the fisherman Old Chuck, what would you do? Afterwards, how would you eradicate the occurrence of such things?"

Hearing Su Zhou's voice, Aemon was stunned for a moment. Soon, he began to think: "Although Old Chuck did violate the regulations in terms of the law, it's very obvious that this was due to an accident, not intentional... Although the precepts in the Covenant Codex don't distinguish between the results of accidents and intentional actions, at least we can give Old Chuck a chance to 'apologize,' rather than arresting him and immediately bringing him to trial, forcibly adding multiple charges and cutting off his hands."

"This is a method of handling things limited to the Covenant Codex, but if it's about eradicating it... I will add a few more precepts to the Codex, such as stipulating that if similar decrees appear, clerics must notify everyone, personally going to the place where the decree is implemented and informing everyone. That way, things like what happened to Old Chuck won't happen again..."

"Laughable."

But Yarebo, as if unafraid of death, opened his mouth and mocked: "Is notification useful? What if this chief priest plays with the timing? It's not like I don't understand farming, do you think I don't know how long it takes to clean up those things? I'll notify Old Chuck half a day or a day in advance, and then come over the next day to arrest him for cleaning up only a small portion, and I can still sentence him!"

The great pirate's expression was full of sarcasm: "I have a sailor on my ship who was forced out to sea in this way. There are many ways for you clerics to exploit loopholes. If you block one hole, they can find two holes."

"This..."

For a time, Aemon couldn't think of a way to refute—in fact, after thinking about it carefully himself, he found that it was indeed the case. He could also find several loopholes to circumvent various treaties. After all, rules are inflexible, people are flexible, and as long as someone wants to frame someone, there will always be a way.

No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't reach a perfect state. Aemon pondered for a long time, and finally bowed his head to Su Zhou with some bitterness, sighing: "I'm sorry, Lord, I can't find a way to eradicate this..."

"No, haven't you already found it?"

But Su Zhou opened his mouth, looking at Aemon with a smile, saying casually: "Doesn't the method you just proposed indeed prevent Edmund from harming Old Chuck? Although Yarebo quickly proposed another loophole, isn't your method a step forward compared to the beginning?"

Saying this, Su Zhou turned his head, looking at the green Qixin Lake. The youth's tone was serious: "Innovation is like that, it's just a step. It's okay to retreat and then move forward, there's no need to be fixated on 'perfection.'"

"Correct mistakes when they occur, and then look for new mistakes. Admit mistakes, recognize mistakes, correct mistakes—that's the foundation of innovation."

"But the most important thing is to pinpoint where the root of the mistake lies, and not treat the head when it hurts, or the foot when it hurts."

Closing his eyes, Su Zhou recalled his experiences along the way.

——From the beginning of his descent into Sunset City, he had witnessed the shortcomings of judgment, realized the limitations of the Demon Lord of Devouring Evil, and then understood that the Judgment of the Judgment Dragon was ultimately the source of the tyranny of the majority.

That was his past limitation. Although he had solved many problems with it (Demon Lord of Devouring Evil) and indeed eliminated many evil enemies, he could still do better.

Since he could do better, why should he be complacent with the present?

So... he couldn't stop moving forward. I must judge myself and carry out an innovation on myself.

Only in this way could he ensure that he would always be walking on the path towards 'relative correctness.'

——His mistake had been found, his mistake had been admitted, and now, it was time to find the root of his 'mistake' and then correct it!

Taking a deep breath, Su Zhou opened his eyes, looking at this world. The spiritual light in his purplish-blue dragon eyes was bright, and he said frankly: "It's impossible to eradicate evil by killing evil when you encounter it and killing enemies when you encounter them—we must find the origin of everything and block all the sources of evil one step at a time."

"Just like the small evil that happened in Qixin City originates from a larger change, if the problem of elemental imbalance isn't resolved, not only will order and law collapse, but even the Central Sanctum's rule over the Holy Fire Kingdom will collapse."

"Order is the same. What if I now judge this Chief Priest Edmund and punish him? If the root of the Holy Fire Kingdom's Covenant Codex isn't resolved, there will be more and more people like him."

At this moment, Su Zhou reached out his hand, opened his personal space, and drew out the Blade of Annihilation.

In the soul space, the purplish-blue Heaven Soul rotated and changed. The structure of the original Demon Lord of Devouring Evil had been mostly replaced. Sixty percent of the original divine power structure had been corrected into a new and better form. Countless huge rune clusters surrounded this soul sun and rotated, like planets orbiting a star, forming a systematic and complete galaxy.

The scarlet snake spirit lay on the Wisdom Tree's essence, Yala smiling as she watched this scene.

"Yes, that's it."

"What Lonely Lord, what Pioneer, what trash destiny, what bullshit correctness—They are all wrong, no one is correct."

"There's no need to strive for perfect correctness—it's enough to be more correct than others."

"Question, question more! Su Zhou, go on!"

The snake spirit's voice echoed in the soul space, while in the real world, Su Zhou gripped the long blade in his hand tightly, golden-red flames burning on the blade. The majestic spiritual power turned into a brilliant light, extending from the tip of the blade. It continued to extend, extending. The golden-red line seemed to span the entire sky, dividing the horizon into two sides.

Aemon and Yarebo were fine, but Old Chuck, Chief Priest Edmund, and the reviewing cleric all watched this scene in shock. They stared blankly, watching the majestic fire elemental power, as scorching as the sun, emanate wantonly from the divine blade, filling the high sky with golden-red light.

"The Holy Sword of Incinerating Flames... You, you are..."

Among them, the reviewing cleric, who had long suspected something, softened at the knees. He wanted to kneel, but Lan Zhong stopped him. And Chief Priest Edmund, who was already clever, trembled even more, his fat shaking like a sieve.

He tremblingly spoke that name.

"The, the Lord of Judgment?!"

"The river channel is blocked, right? The surrounding area is drought-stricken, right?"

Not paying attention to their astonishment, Su Zhou held the divine blade, chuckled, and then waved his arm, slashing towards Qixin Lake below and the river channel in the distance.

Then, that brilliant light, which extended for who knows how long, slashed down towards the ground like that.

Heaven and earth seemed to freeze.

Everything was still. Whether it was the wind, the clouds, or the waves on Qixin Lake, everything was frozen, unmoving.

In this stillness, only the flash of the blade moved.

The Blade of Annihilation slashed down. It struck Qixin Lake, struck the blocked river channel. It extended all the way, cleaving through the lake, which was hundreds of meters deep, and clearing the silt accumulated at the bottom of the river—huge waves churned, and under the scorching blade light, the entire Qixin Lake seemed to boil, steaming out a sky full of water mist and giving rise to gales strong enough to stir up a hundred miles away.

Violent explosions occurred continuously along the slashed line. They evaporated the lake water, steamed up clouds and mist and huge waves, causing large swaths of pure white clouds to rapidly rise into the air, like wings hanging from the sky.

With one slash, Su Zhou ignored the doubts of the Blade of Annihilation, which seemed to be questioning, 'You're using me to cut lake water as soon as you appear? What happened to not being casual?', and sent it back to his personal space.

Then, he stretched out his left hand and activated the Great Cycle of Lan Armor.

Immediately, tens of thousands of cyan Lan seeds rushed into the large swaths of clouds and mist with hazy cyan spiritual power. The gale turned into a huge package, wrapping all the clouds and mist and water vapor up, and then rose into the high sky at the fastest speed, turning into dark rain clouds.

For a time, in Qixin City, which was panicked by the loud explosion, people saw that the originally bright world suddenly darkened, and the dark clouds spread rapidly like an illusion, occupying most of the sky in their vision.

Immediately afterwards, Su Zhou flipped his left hand.

In an instant, peals of thunder sounded suddenly in the rain clouds, and purple lightning bolts shuttled and flashed in the clouds, like dragons calling the wind and summoning rain.

Then, a torrential rain poured down.

After a long time, rainwater once again fell around Qixin City... No, not just Qixin City!

Because a large number of clouds were being carried by the gales created by the Lan seeds, flying towards all directions, towards the many drought-stricken cities! They were also bringing rain, nourishing the parched land in all directions.

"It's raining, it's raining!"

"This is a miracle!"

For a time, although they knew it was likely just an illusion, Aemon and the others seemed to hear the cheers of the people in many cities and villages.

After doing all this, Su Zhou retracted his hand.

His expression was calm.

Turning his hand, he made clouds; turning it again, he made rain.

This was the power of the Overlord Realm—the power of a god.

Such power could be used to move mountains and overturn seas, and it could also be used to protect all the people.

Power itself was a matter of personal conviction. The most important thing was to never stop moving forward and to have love in one's heart. In that case, whether it was fighting against evil people or bringing down sweet dew like now, it would all have meaning.

At this time, with Qixin City as the center, the drought in dozens of cities had been temporarily resolved—unlike the cleric teams using magic to transport water to various places, the rainstorm that Su Zhou stirred up could at least protect a place for a month's needs. Moreover, the slash that he used the Blade of Annihilation to strike down contained innate laws, which would automatically evaporate some of the lake water, and the Lan seeds would also automatically carry these clouds to bring rain.

This was the wonderful use of Spiritual Artifacts with innate intelligence. In addition to automatic regeneration and repair during battle, it could also be used to set up temporary magic formations that lasted for a long time out of thin air.

The heavy rain shrouded the earth, and the moist wind blew towards the sky. In just the blink of an eye, the situation around Qixin City had changed completely.

Powerful beings, if they could, could do these things.

If a civilization gave birth to powerful people, but insisted on excluding them from the civilization, it was a regression of order.

Su Zhou knew that the Holy Fire Kingdom was doing a good job in this regard. Clerics and Blessed Ones participated in the construction of civilization and fought against disasters, but the God of Fire Elias had not come forward.

Perhaps He was working hard for something more important. Su Zhou would definitely ask Him about it properly.

While Aemon and the others were being shaken by such great power in their hearts, they heard Su Zhou's voice.

"I will use divine power to observe the hearts of the people and listen to all grievances."

With his hands behind his back, Su Zhou descended with the group. He walked on the rain clouds that he had created with his own hands. A cloud road leading to the distance was opened up, extending to the end of the sky: "I will issue divine edicts so that all people like Old Chuck can pray to me and pour out their grievances and suffering."

"My Lord!"

Hearing these words, Aemon's heart trembled and his breathing was a little rapid. The gray-haired cleric clasped his hands together and asked excitedly: "Could it be that you want to completely solve these problems?!"

"Huh?"

Su Zhou turned his head, looking at Aemon in astonishment, puzzled: "How is that possible!"

"These are all problems created by Elias. It's fine if I help him collect opinions, but what right does He have to let me solve his problems for him?"

The youth shook his head, his expression carrying dissatisfaction: "I will gather all the people with grievances in all the surrounding cities and villages, and then organize a 'grievance appeal' team. I will personally lead them to the Central Sanctum to support them and let them ask the God of Fire properly why He would sit idly by and let them suffer grievances!"

Under the astonished, even unbelievable, gazes of Aemon and the others, Su Zhou's expression was filled with emotion: "There are too many people in this world like Old Chuck who have been wronged."

"Not to mention people like Sarah, who were judged and died simply because they were people of the sea."

"It's all because there's something wrong with order and law that there are these people who died unjustly."

"In addition to that, the elements throughout the world are imbalanced—including me, all the gods should solve these problems. This is also our responsibility."

Saying this, Su Zhou smiled and turned his head, looking at everyone.

"After all, you respect me as a god and bow and pray to me every day, so I always have to do something."

After speaking, the youth lowered his head, looking at the cities around Qixin Lake.

"The natural aspects of the problem have been temporarily solved."

"Now, it's time to start solving the problems of people."

Su Zhou muttered to himself, and then closed his eyes.

At the same time, in all the cities and villages around Qixin Lake, everyone heard a gentle but grand voice.

【I am the Lord of Judgment, this is a divine edict.】

【Those who have grievances, pray to me.】

【Those who feel innocent but have been judged guilty, pray to me.】

Originating from the depths of their hearts, a voice that transcended all languages resounded in everyone's hearts.

Then, ripples arose.

Countless prayers and wishes resounded in the spirit world.

——Gods do not like prayers.

Because people's prayers and requests represent that the order set by God is not perfect and cannot meet people's needs.

Unless the prayer is a greeting, an expression of gratitude, or a sincere desire to communicate with God.

The prayers of joyful people are sharing, the prayers of loving people are dedication, and the prayers of kind people are empathy. These have the name of prayer but not the substance.

——Evil is the lack of good.

Only when people are uneasy, unkind, have done wrong, or are deeply trapped in grievances and mistakes, expecting to change their difficult situation, will they pray.

And all of this proves the incompetence of God—He cannot make His people happy, allowing all His people to live carefree without relying on His power.

【Therefore, change is needed, innovation is needed.】

【The need is to become better, to become better and better on the existing foundation.】

【I will bring questioning, bring correction, I will admit all mistakes.】

【I will bring innovation.】

Opening his eyes, Su Zhou's gaze was calm.

Countless prayers echoed in his soul space, being understood, distinguished, and confirmed by him... Then, he launched a response.

【All you who have been wronged, let us go to the center of the world.】

Such divine edicts sounded in dozens, hundreds, and even more cities.

In 307 A.D., June 29th, millions of people in the cities around Qixin City in the east-central part of the Holy Fire Continent heard the divine edict of the Lord of Judgment.

On June 30th, in the southeast-central part of the Holy Fire Continent, around Tulip City, millions of people heard the divine edict of the Lord of Judgment. Nearly a thousand sinners left the Sinners' Village, heading towards the distance.

On July 2nd, in the central part of the Holy Fire Continent, around the cities of Pure Phosphorus, Connected Light, and Distant Cloud, nearly ten million people heard the divine edict of the Lord of Judgment. It was said that the descended body of the Lord of Judgment revealed its true form, and countless people witnessed it with their own eyes.

Several days later, amidst devout worship and cheers, a mighty team of 17,000 'sinners' burdened with sins was formed, following in the footsteps of 'God' and heading towards the center of the world, the Central Sanctum.

In addition to that, there were even more people, more sinners who had heard the divine edict of the Lord of Judgment, coming from all directions of the Holy Fire Continent, converging towards that team.

And in the places where miracles appeared, the lightning and torrential rain stopped the drought, the torrential rain stopped the flooding, the swamps dried up, the elements were restored to equilibrium, and the world was temporarily calmed.

The Seven Seas, the Sea of Meditation.

A mighty fleet of hundreds of large ships sailed on the calm waters of the Sea of Meditation. Fog shrouded the sea, and jagged reefs appeared and disappeared in the nearly invisible dense fog. Only Awakened Ones could occasionally use their power to penetrate the fog and see the road ahead.

On the largest ship at the head, the Sea Emperor White Whale suddenly raised his head.

"Someone on the continent is calming the elemental imbalance."

He scratched his head strangely and then reached out to pick up a cup of bitter tea and poured it into his mouth: "Strange, who is so strong? Or did those Blessed Ones suddenly change their ways, stop fooling around, and really start working together to save the disaster?"

"No way, no way, no way?"

White Whale never drank alcohol because alcohol wasn't sweet enough. Of course, the bitter tea he liked to drink wasn't sweet enough either, but these two things were obviously not related. Chewing on the tea leaves, the Sea Emperor smiled and said to the other Sea Emperors and Sea Kings beside him: "Do you think it was our God of Fire who acted, or the Blessed Ones joining hands?"

"It's unlikely to be the God of Fire... He didn't act last time during that rebellion, so this time shouldn't be an exception either."

Another Sea Emperor with messy blue hair pondered for a while and shook his head: "If the God of Fire hadn't been silent all along, with only divine edicts being issued, how could our good friends on the shore have not taken action for so long? They don't want the God of Fire to be active even more than we do."

"Then who could it be?"

Shrugging, White Whale didn't care about this question. The tall man with white hair looked into the distance, his deep purple pupils flashing with a bright light: "Forget it, let's continue moving forward—notify the Pioneer's proxy, our plan is about to begin."

He gave the order with a smile, and then the fleet accelerated, continuing to sail towards the depths of the ocean.

If one had elemental vision, they would be able to see that at the top of the sky above this fleet, six mighty torrents of water elements were converging like rivers and falling towards the center of the Sea of Meditation, turning into a huge pillar that supported the sky and the earth.

The 'Deep Sea Ritual' was about to begin.

The Holy Fire Continent, the center of the continent, the Central Sanctum.

307 A.D., July 5th.

In the deep precepts leading to the deepest part of the world, another visitor in a hurry was welcomed again.

The black-haired, golden-eyed knight, Blessed One Yishar, walked towards the Sea of Lava with a worried expression.

This time, his purpose was still the same.

He wanted to see God.
