A Snow Biscuit

Afterword and IF Timeline Update Plan

After nearly a year of serialization, the main text of this book has finally come to an end.

I must say, it has been a very difficult journey, my first time writing such a long novel.

During this time, my condition has also experienced ups and downs.

There were parts that were well-written, and parts that were poorly written.

In my personal opinion, the chapters before it was put on the shelves deserve what I consider a perfect score. From when it was put on the shelves to chapter 200, because there were too many updates, the quality definitely declined, and overall it was only an 8.5. Later, I experienced some low points, but fortunately, I came up with the idea of writing about multiple characters, shaping several quite interesting love lines, pulling it back to an 8. After that, all the way to chapter 500, it was only above average, with occasional chapters that I thought were good.

As for the late stage, it was a failure that even I was dissatisfied with.

I originally thought about writing a university arc, but after several attempts, I found that I really can't write it well at this stage.

Unlike xuanhuan (mystical fantasy) or xianxia (immortal hero) stories, which can become more and more exciting as you write.

Brain hole + slice-of-life stories, after the brain holes are used up and the love lines are full, are indeed very difficult to write.

This is why the main text ended after the engagement.

After I couldn't produce satisfactory and interesting content, my last effort was to try to make the structure complete and the ending happy and perfect.

So, I used this location and this scene, echoing the beginning of the plot, to put the period here.

But this doesn't mean it's over directly.

After resting for two days, I will start the 'parallel world line (if line)' that I mentioned earlier.

Because the love lines with Zhou Fu, Tang Siwen, and others can be rewritten, the most interesting part of a romance novel, which is also my specialty, the ambiguous stage, has a lot of room to play, so I am quite confident that I can rewrite an 8-point plot.

When updating the if line, I will have more time and energy, and I will also be able to look back and make small modifications and polishing to some of the content that I was not satisfied with before.

In fact, I often look back at the previous chapters, open the chapter comments, and look at them for a long time, and I can't help but admire: It's really awesome, it's so good, how did I write it?

If I really had Chao Zi, it would be great to give me a surge of inspiration, so that I can leave a representative work in the online literature world that I am proud of, instead of just being this forced author who is so popular, eating black traffic, right? It's really disgusting.

Although being blacklisted is also popular, I'm not so short of money.

So my outlook for the next book is that the updates can be less, there is no need to be too impatient, and I won't force myself to write if I really can't come up with it, and I will try my best to write a novel that I am satisfied with from beginning to end, and that I can even show to my family!

Well, that's all I have to say.

Rest for two days, and then on the 9th, start updating the if line with Zhou Fu, this cute character that I have poured a lot of preference into in the text.

Respect.
