Chapter 245: The Psychopath Girl
When the light shone through the gap hit his face, Shido opened his eyes slightly. His body felt a little heavy, but he stayed still since he was afraid to wake up the girl who was sleeping on his chest.
Friren was sleeping soundly as she used Shido’s chest as a pillow.
Watching her peaceful, beautiful sleeping face, Shido couldn’t help but reveal a smile. Thinking back to last night, he felt it had been truly amazing. At the same time, he realized that despite being an elf, her physical endurance was surprisingly low, she needed to take a break whenever she reach the peak, or perhaps she was just too lazy to keep moving.
Either way, Shido hadn’t expected Frieren to be so proactive and bold, openly seducing him last night. From what he knew of her, she was usually clueless in these matters; the most risqué thing she had ever done before was blowing a flying kiss.
However, Frieren suddenly learned being naughty which made him surprised. Yet, it’s not like he hated it, instead he liked it as this aloof and detached elf succumbed under his mercy turning her expressionless face into a lewd one.
After the two had left their mark on the living room, dining area, and kitchen, Frieren used a cleaning magic to erase all traces of their fight. Shido then carried her to her room for round two.
And now, looking at her peacefully sleeping face, Shido find it cute as she nestled her face softly against his chest.
Looking out the window, Shido saw the sun just rising over the horizon, though he knew it was still early.
Time moved differently in this world; even at four in the morning, it was already bright. It wasn’t surprising, then, to see so few people awake at this hour.
Even Shido felt reluctant to get out of bed, so he decided to lie down for a few more minutes.
However, he wasn’t sleepy anymore. And remembering that he needed to purchase something from the store, he decided to open the system.
After opening the system, Shido went straight to the store and began searching for the skill he wanted to purchase. He scrolled through the list for a while until he finally found it, which made him elated.
Gate of Babylon (Perfection Level) - A legendary skill that summons an endless arsenal of weapons from another dimension. It creates a bridge between reality and the vault, opening an invisible door that allows weapons to pass through at the user’s command, granting unparalleled versatility and speed in combat.
Cost: 100,000 SP
Seeing no issues with the skill, Shido immediately pressed the purchase button.
Ding!
[You have purchased Gate of Babylon (Perfection Lecvel).]
[100,000 SP has been deducted.]
Although the price seemed high, Shido considered it fair, knowing just how powerful the skill could be, especially in a team fight. The only drawback of this skill was that the user needed to store a large number of weapons within it. But that flaw was nothing to Shido as he had ’Concept of Multiply’ to solve this problem.
After purchasing the skill, Shido immediately activated the it but he did it carefully to not wake up the peacefully sleeping Shalltear on his chest. Leaning on the bed, Shido used ’Gate of Babylon’ silently, and immediately, a golden ripple appeared above his head, and slowly, the tip of a sword began to emerge from it.
The sword slowly emerged until most of its body was revealed, it was Shido’s Elucidator. Though he was eager to test its power by shooting it, Shido held himself back as it wasn’t the place to do it.
Instead, Shido played with the skill like a curious child, creating multiple golden ripples and summoning different types of weapons. Sometimes many of the same kind appeared, while other times, a variety of weapons emerged together.
Shido had been enjoying playing with his new skill until Frieren woke up so he decided that it was time to go back to his own room after all, it would be troublesome if Rumia saw them both naked in the bed.
While Frieren felt reluctant, she let him go after hugging him tightly and sniffing his masculine scent. As Shido teleported out of her room, Frieren placed her hand on her belly and started to wonder if she would get pregnant with his child as he had poured so much essence inside her womb.
Thinking about it, Frieren’s cheeks turned slightly crimson. Fortunately, their race was not that easy to get pregnant, otherwise, Frieren’s abdomen might swell in a few months time due to how thick and potent Shido’s essence was.
Still, thinking it over, Frieren realized that having his child might not be such a bad thing. Gently caressing her slightly rounded belly with an unusually warm smile, she wondered quietly if she could be a good mother.
...
Inside a luxurious room, a graceful and elegant figure stood by the window. Though she was alone, it seemed as if she were speaking to someone. If people saw her in this state, they might wonder if she had lost her mind.
"Yes."
"Everything in the palace is chaotic, yet strangely, there’s been no sign of any internal conflict."
"Is that so?"
"Certainly, I will wait for your good news."
After speaking those last words, Princess Renner, the girl who had been talking, gazed into the distant sky.
"Haaa... it won’t be long before you’re mine, Acheval-san."
She let out the radiant, beautiful smile she usually showed to her people, but if one look closely, the corner of her lips seemed to be twitching into something distorted.
To the people of the Re-Estize Kingdom, she was their Golden Princess, their hope and salvation. But the truth? She was nothing more than a psychopathic girl, who would even sacrifice her family and kingdom for her own selfish desires.
*Knock! Knock!*
"Princess Renner, Lakyus-sama and the Blue Roses are here," Climb reported, knocking gently on her door from outside.
"Yes, just a moment."**
Princess Renner responded cheerfully, then turned to glance at her reflection in the mirror.
"It’s bad, it’s bad... I have to fix my expression." Despite saying this, Princess Renner showed no real hint of panic on her face.
"How does my usual smile go again?"
Princess Renner lifted her hands and started molding her face into different shape until she made her usual bright smile.
After adjusting herself, she placed her hands neatly in front of her dress, turned toward the door, and spoke in a cheerful and elegant tone.
"Please, come in."
