Chapter 14 Tang Zhenzhen's Scheme Fails

"What do you need me to do?" Qin Ningyi immediately supported An'an.

Tang Zhenzhen's expression just now was too strange; his keen intuition told him there was definitely something wrong.

An'an gave Qin Ningyi a big smile and said, "I need to borrow Auntie's tools."

Qin Feiwan agreed to let him use whatever he wanted. An'an walked over to Qin Feiwan's desk, picked up a few white sheets of paper and a drawing pen, and went to the coffee table.

The white paper was spread out, and he began with his pencil.

Everyone curiously gathered around, wanting to see how An'an would prove his innocence.

Tang Zhenzhen glanced dismissively. Was he going to draw small mountains and trees to match handwriting? It's normal for a child to be inconsistent, right?

As An'an's pencil moved, the outline of a piece of clothing gradually appeared.

"He's..."

"He's drawing a design draft?"

"No way, it really looks like Qin Jie's style!"

"How is it Qin Jie's style? This is Qin Jie's design draft! Look at this design!"

The surrounding people went from initial curiosity to astonishment.

It was truly shocking. A child of four or five years old was drawing with steady hands, his strokes light but fluid.

Tang Zhenzhen, listening to the discussions, also looked closely. The moment she did, she almost cried out.

The shape of a piece of clothing had already emerged under An'an's pencil, with all the details rendered. He was now coloring it with colored pencils.

Tang Zhenzhen recognized this piece of clothing. This was Qin Feiwan's entry for the oplonely brand clothing design competition.

Now, this design was being depicted little by little in An'an's hands.

Qin Feiwan, watching the familiar design appear before her eyes, was so shocked that she leaned forward half a step.

"This... An'an, how did you know about this?" Qin Feiwan asked excitedly, having only brought An'an to her studio today.

An'an paused his drawing, looked up at Qin Feiwan, and said, "Didn't Auntie ask me what color I wanted to choose? An'an saw these drawings you left out."

He switched to another pen and bent his head to continue drawing, saying, "I thought it was strange, why were they all little people wearing clothes, like drawing Barbie dolls? So I looked a few more times."

Qin Ningyi squatted down, looked at his serious profile, and patted his head. "You looked a few times and remembered it all?"

Although he was also smart, this child seemed even smarter than he was. At least his ability to memorize and draw was better than his own.

An'an nodded. "Yes, it's easy to remember." He said it very casually.

The people around them gasped.

What kind of prodigy was this? When they studied design, they would spend days on a master's draft, and still, they might not be able to redraw it perfectly from memory!

An'an drew quietly. When one drawing was finished, he picked up a new sheet of paper and started on the second one.

Qin Feiwan was too astonished to speak. Honestly, she couldn't even fully remember all the design details. If she were to draw it herself, there might be innovations, but it wouldn't be exactly the same as the original.

As An'an drew diligently, Xiao Konglin squeezed through the crowd and whispered in Qin Ningyi's ear.

After listening to Xiao Konglin, Qin Ningyi looked around and his gaze fell on Tang Zhenzhen.

Tang Zhenzhen met Qin Ningyi's cold, unfeeling eyes, and her hair stood on end. A sense of dread rose from the bottom of her heart.

An'an drew three designs. For a child his age to complete three designs was already incredible. He shook his arm and, holding the three design drafts, said to Qin Feiwan, "Auntie, An'an is very good at drawing. It's not that ugly."

"Look, how could I draw something like that?" An'an pointed at the damaged design drafts and said earnestly.

Qin Feiwan had long since believed him. An'an was so talented, and he held the pen so skillfully. It would actually be difficult for him to draw with the childish clumsiness of a four or five-year-old.

Everyone also praised An'an. With this accomplishment, no one could reasonably accuse him of being the culprit.

Tang Zhenzhen's eyes were full of disbelief. How could a four or five-year-old child...

"Tang Zhenzhen, what was your reason for doing this?" Qin Ningyi stared coldly at Tang Zhenzhen, who was wide-eyed in the crowd, his voice as icy as if it could freeze someone to death.

"I, I didn't." Tang Zhenzhen shook her head blankly, vehemently denying it. "I've never entered Qin Jie's studio. What does this have to do with me?"

She pulled on her assistant. "She can vouch for me. I didn't come here."

Xiao Konglin couldn't help but retort, "Stop pretending! I checked the surveillance. After you returned to the 51st floor, you went to the restroom, and when you came out, you quietly entered Ms. Qin's studio."

"What? Surveillance? Xiao Konglin, don't try to trick me. There's no surveillance in our design department." Tang Zhenzhen acted as if she'd heard a joke. "I know you don't like me, but you can't slander me."

Xiao Konglin pointed to the ceiling outside the door. "The company had a safety inspection a few days ago, and surveillance cameras were installed in every important area."

Tang Zhenzhen looked at the spot Xiao Konglin was pointing to. It did look like a small camera. Her face instantly turned pale. She tried to explain, "I just... I just thought An'an was back, so I came in to apologize to him..."

"I didn't, it wasn't me." Tang Zhenzhen's words sounded weak under everyone's suspicious gaze.

"Do you want me to pull up the surveillance footage and have it looped on the company's big screen?" Xiao Konglin sneered. "You went in to find the young master? Who would believe that? You were lurking around, looking like you were up to no good."

"People like you, who disrespect design works, are not needed at Qin Wan Design. Pack your things and don't come in tomorrow," Qin Feiwan said to Tang Zhenzhen, disappointment evident in her voice.

Tang Zhenzhen had designed many works that had impressed her, with a diverse style. She was a designer with great potential, and she never expected her to be this kind of person.

And...

In the wan-kid design, after winning first place, too many details were removed from the children's clothing to reduce costs, and the fabric was replaced with a cheaper one.

She played favorites and unilaterally changed the long-term cooperating children's clothing factory, resulting in even worse fabric for bulk production.

Qin Feiwan pushed back a strand of hair from her cheek and looked up at Tang Zhenzhen. The wan-kid children's clothing brand, which the design department had worked so hard to create.

Tang Zhenzhen didn't notice Qin Feiwan's disappointment. She just roared angrily, "On what grounds?!"

"You, a bastard child who doesn't know where you came from, how dare you fire me for him?" Tang Zhenzhen screamed hoarsely, her eyes filled with hatred as she looked at Qin Feiwan. "I was the chief designer for wan-kid for two seasons."

Mentioning this, her red lips curved up, and she said defiantly, "Without me, wan-kid won't have better designs."
