The attendant immediately gave her the mission parchment, and when Yan Lihua saw the central region, she frowned too, "It’s too dangerous."
Lin Feng was prepared for this, "I know, that’s why I am bringing senior sister Xie with me."
Yan Lihua raised her eyebrows slightly, she didn’t know that they were going on the same mission, "So she would stay with you the whole time?"
Lin Feng nodded, "Yes, senior sister hasn’t picked any mission, you can ask her."
Yan Lihua looked at Xie Ruyue, and Xie Ruyue just shrugged her shoulders, she wasn’t bothered to voice it out.
Yan Lihua didn’t get angry, she already knew her personality, but inwardly she was happy that they were going together. She had never seen Xie Ruyue grow so close to anyone, there were already talks going on in the sect that Lin Hao and Xie Ruyue looked like partners already.
All the elders were also hopeful that there was quite a high chance that they might become partners, if that happened, the sect would benefit a lot.
In the future, both of them might become as strong as the Sect Master of the Frozen Heart Sect, the future of the next generation would be secure in their hands.
Once Xie Ruyue started dual cultivating, there wouldn’t be a need to put her in any restrictions either, their main concern was her joining the Frozen Heart Sect, and once she lost her Primordial Yin, it wouldn’t be an issue, not to mention, if she picked Lin Hao, she would stay with him forever.
After thinking this through, Yan Lihua nodded in approval, "If that is the case, then go... take care and don’t venture into the inner area and return in three days"
Lin Feng showed her a genuine smile, as if he was happy with her decision, and nodded, "Don’t worry, Elder Yan, we will just do our mission and come back."
Xie Ruyue sighed looking at his smile, she had a feeling it was just an act. After knowing about his mature personality, she doubted he would be this happy to just go out of the sect on someone else’s permission.
Yan Lihua smiled at his enthusiasm and disappeared, Lin Feng maintained his happy expression and came out of the pavilion, and Xie Ruyue followed him.
After walking for a while, they came to an exit, it was a simple gate, two disciples were standing guard here, they weren’t too strong, only at the Core Formation realm.
The whole sect was covered in a detection array, if anyone entered the sect area without this gate, then they would be considered intruders, and the sect’s main protection array would be activated.
The intruder would be trapped in that array before someone from the sect came and decided what punishment they had to be given.
As for leaving the sect, it should be done from here too, it’s not because there were some restrictions, but because, along with the detection array, the outer area also had lots of killing arrays hidden too, which didn’t care if you had a sect token or not.
The guards looked at them and immediately bowed to Xie Ruyue, for which she just nodded calmly before they left the main gate of the inner sect.
Finally, after 6 months of staying in the sect, which was basically his enemy, Lin Feng came out.
"So, how will we be going to the central region, senior sister?"
Xie Ruyue stretched herself too, "Hmm... we could have taken the teleportation array from the sect itself, but since you are coming out to relax yourself, let’s just take that from Tianping City."
Lin Feng nodded, he was in a hurry but he can pass some time. There was one thing that was going through his mind... why the Yin Yang Harmony Sect was in need of so many vitality-type herbs and the beast core of the Crimson Vein Serpent.
"So, have you seen anything else in the Eastern Region, or did you just come to the sect directly, junior brother?" Xie Ruyue suddenly asked.
"Pretty much directly, we just went to eat something in Jade Lantern Pavilion," Lin Feng answered absentmindedly.
This didn’t go unnoticed by Xie Ruyue, "What are you thinking, junior brother, is something bothering you?"
Lin Feng thought for a moment before deciding to ask her, it was a pretty normal question anyway, "Senior sister, have you noticed that the sect is keen on getting spirit herbs that are needed for vitality-type herbs?"
Xie Ruyue had seen it too, so she nodded, "Isn’t this obvious, given that we are preparing for the war?"
Lin Feng nodded, everyone would think that, but the amount was too much, and there was no need to use the Crimson Vein Serpent’s beast cores if their goal was only vitality pills, "Senior sister, tell me one thing, when was the last time you went on a mission?"
