Chapter 1178 The Might of Longhu Men

Zhou Yan walked out of the house. Lin Xue had prepared breakfast. He picked up his chopsticks and ate ravenously. After finishing his meal, Zhou Yan crushed some herbs he had collected the previous night, mixed them together, and brewed them into a medicinal liquid. The effects of this liquid were more nourishing than wild herbs and could also strengthen the body.

Having done this, Zhou Yan left his family and headed for the Dragon Tiger Sect.

"Zhou Yan, we've been waiting for you to die!"

Outside the Dragon Tiger Sect, several disciples glared at Zhou Yan with cold eyes.

"I will kill you with my own hands," Zhou Yan said indifferently.

"Such a big mouth. Who do you think you are to say such things?" a Dragon Tiger Sect disciple sneered.

"You bunch of lackeys, is this how you welcome your Grand Uncle-Master?"

Zhou Yan smiled disdainfully and then strode towards the Dragon Tiger Sect. The disciples blocked his path.

"Move aside." Zhou Yan looked at the disciples with calm eyes.

"Kid, since you've walked into a trap, don't blame us." One of the Dragon Tiger Sect disciples grinned sinisterly and threw a punch at Zhou Yan's face.

"Bang!"

Zhou Yan threw a punch in return. The Dragon Tiger Sect disciple cried out in pain and was sent flying back, landing ten feet away.

"Be careful, this kid is strong." The other disciples were greatly alarmed and quickly drew the sabers from their backs.

Zhou Yan's gaze swept over them and he said coldly, "Your Dragon Tiger Sect bullied our Zhou Family Village and treated my grandfather, Zhou Fu, as a nobody. You insulted and humiliated us, so today I will crush your Dragon Tiger Sect."

With that, Zhou Yan began to move, charging towards them.

Bang, bang...

In an instant, Zhou Yan and the Dragon Tiger Sect disciples clashed. Fists and feet met, each move vicious.

"Pathetic." Zhou Yan shook his head. His body was strong, his power overbearing, and ordinary people were no match for him. He unleashed a whip kick, sending a Dragon Tiger Sect disciple flying horizontally into the wall, where he fell unconscious.

"Kill them!" The remaining Dragon Tiger Sect disciples brandished their long sabers and slashed at Zhou Yan. Saber light flashed, their attacks fierce. Unfortunately, they were facing Zhou Yan, and their fate was sealed.

Zhou Yan's right arm shot out, gripping a Dragon Tiger Sect disciple's neck like an iron vice, lifting him entirely.

"Crack!"

Immediately after, Zhou Yan struck with his left palm. A Dragon Tiger Sect disciple grunted, his chest caved in, bones snapped, blood trickled from his lips, and he fainted.

"Bastard, you dare hurt my brothers!" The remaining four Dragon Tiger Sect disciples roared and attacked Zhou Yan with their full strength, unleashing their most powerful divine skills.

Zhou Yan's expression remained unchanged. His body flickered, dodging the four disciples' attacks. He then unleashed a punch, imbued with berserk power, sending one disciple spitting blood and groaning on the ground.

"Bang!"

Zhou Yan kicked out again. A Dragon Tiger Sect disciple's ribs were shattered, and he was sent flying, crashing into the wall and losing consciousness.

In just a moment, except for one disciple groaning on the ground, all the other disciples were defeated by Zhou Yan and had fallen unconscious.

"Brother Xiao Yan is so amazing!" Lin Xue applauded.

Zhou Yan smiled and then crouched down to check the injuries of the Dragon Tiger Sect disciples.

"Brother Xiao Yan, they only have superficial wounds," Lin Xue said.

"Yes, I know. But they are disciples of your Dragon Tiger Sect after all. We can't be too heartless," Zhou Yan smiled and then took out silver needles, which he inserted into the Dragon Tiger Sect disciples. The disciples immediately woke up, shouting in pain.

"Zhou Yan, you..."

"Don't speak. I'll help treat your injuries."

As Zhou Yan spoke, he withdrew the silver needles and then used his inner energy to seal the disciples' acupoints.

He had seen this technique before in ancient medical texts. It could reduce the patient's pain and keep them conscious.

After finishing everything, Zhou Yan satisfiedly put away the silver needles and said, "Let's go. We'll go find Zhang Dapeng to get the antidote."

Although Zhang Dapeng was an inner disciple of the Dragon Tiger Sect on Dragon Tiger Mountain, his authority was probably limited. Therefore, Zhou Yan decided to go to Zhang Dapeng first to get the antidote and, incidentally, teach the old man a lesson.

Zhou Yan, with Lin Xue, headed straight for Dragon Tiger Mountain. He did not fly, as although his strength had recovered, it was not yet enough for him to soar through the sky. Doing so would undoubtedly cause a huge sensation.

Zhou Yan walked on the rugged mountain path and soon arrived at the foot of Dragon Tiger Mountain.

Zhou Yan looked up at the majestic Dragon Tiger Mountain, then took Lin Xue's jade hand and walked towards the summit.

Dragon Tiger Peak.

"Zhou Yan, are you here to beg me this time?" an aged voice emerged, tinged with mockery.

"Hmph, Sect Master of the Dragon Tiger Sect, I am only here today to reclaim what belongs to me, not to curry favor with you. Moreover, you should have heard that the Sect Master of Dragon Tiger Mountain has expelled me from the Dragon Tiger Sect. So, from now on, I have nothing to do with your Dragon Tiger Sect," Zhou Yan snorted coldly.

"Presumptuous." Zhang Dapeng's face turned ashen, and he glared at Zhou Yan. "Zhou Yan, do you know who you are speaking to?"

"Zhang Dapeng, don't think that just because you are the Sect Master of the Dragon Tiger Sect, I fear you. Let me tell you, our Zhou Family Village still has a Divine Venerable level expert. Your Dragon Tiger Mountain people are no match for us," Zhou Yan said calmly, his words conveying confidence as if stating a fact.

"Divine Venerable level expert? Do you think I'm a fool? I won't believe your nonsense," Zhang Dapeng scoffed. "Zhou Yan, it's best if you just surrender obediently. Perhaps you can keep your dog's life."

"You..." Zhou Yan's eyes blazed. This old man dared to call him a dog. It was truly unbearable.

"Enough." Just then, a majestic voice rang out. Immediately after, an old man in a white robe, with white hair and beard, a ruddy complexion, bright eyes, and full of vitality, walked in.

"Greetings, Sect Master." Zhang Dapeng bowed respectfully.

"Hmm." The white-robed elder nodded faintly and then asked, "Zhou Yan, are you here for the antidote?"

"Yes," Zhou Yan cupped his fists.

"Have you seen my grandson, Zhang Long?" the white-robed elder asked.

"No, he was expelled three days ago. I suspect he died somewhere in the wilderness," Zhou Yan replied.

"What?" The white-robed elder's face contorted with rage. He never imagined that Zhou Yan would dare to lay a hand on his grandson.

"My grandson has been gone from the Dragon Tiger Sect for over a year. You know his character very well. How dare you act against him? Are you seeking death?" the white-robed elder roared.
