Chapter 952 We've Truly Struck Gold

The next task was to find a school for Jian Yi. She was only four years old and it was time for kindergarten. Jin Lan had already arranged for kindergartens to be scouted. Three were finally chosen, all prestigious schools with monthly tuition fees exceeding ten thousand yuan. However, Jin Lan and Jiang Yan were both wealthy, so they were only concerned with finding a suitable good school for Jian Yi, regardless of the cost.

The day before, Jiang Yan had told Jin Lan to be a qualified father. Today, he presented the schools to Jiang Yan, saying, "Choose one of these three that you like."

"How can I choose what I like? Jian Yi has to like it," Jiang Yan glared at him, then picked up their daughter and sat her on her lap to choose together.

"Of course, Jian Yi has to like it. Why don't we visit all three schools to see which one Jian Yi prefers and which one is more suitable for her?" Jin Lan and Jiang Yan hadn't had much alone time recently. He wanted to spend more time with her, otherwise their feelings would truly fade further.

Jiang Yan also thought this was the most reasonable suggestion. What could one tell from introductions about a kindergarten? It was better to visit in person and see the actual teaching environment. Jian Yi hadn't attended kindergarten before, putting her behind other children. Jiang Yan wanted her to start classes as soon as possible.

"Jian Yi, shall we go pick a kindergarten today?" Jiang Yan looked at the little one in her arms, holding the child's tiny hand, her heart melting.

"Mama, can you call me 'baby'?" Jian Yi suddenly looked up at Jiang Yan with her big, dewy eyes.

Jiang Yan's heart melted completely. She smiled and said, "Of course, baby!"

"I want to go," Jian Yi smiled sweetly.

Jin Lan watched the mother and daughter interact, smiling. He suddenly felt that even though his sister's initial intentions weren't good, the treasure she chose for them was truly wonderful. This child had a destined connection with him and Jiang Yan.

"So good. Shall Mama go change your clothes, darling?" Jiang Yan stood up, holding her daughter.

Jiang Yan bought clothes for Jian Yi seasonally, filling an entire wardrobe. She decided to let her daughter choose her own outfit. "Baby, which one do you want to wear?"

"Mama, can I wear that red and white dress?" Jian Yi pointed to a red and white Lolita-style dress.

"Of course, wear whichever you like." Jiang Yan had no objections and immediately took the dress down for her to put on. She also matched it with socks of the same color, a pair of little red leather shoes, and a pretty hairband.

When Jian Yi came out again, Jin Lan couldn't help but smile. If she were displayed in a shop window, people would truly mistake her for a doll.

"We really found a treasure. Jian Yi is so cute and beautiful," Jin Lan walked over and picked the child up directly.

"Don't talk nonsense. Let's go. Go slowly, don't scare her," Jiang Yan said worriedly, looking at the child Jin Lan was holding with one arm.

"Baby, are you scared?" Jin Lan asked.

"Daddy, I'm not scared, this is fun," Jian Yi smiled happily.

Seeing this, Jin Lan simply let her ride on his shoulders. Little Jian Yi was even happier. Seeing her daughter happy, Jiang Yan stopped worrying and let the father and daughter have their fun.

There were three kindergartens in total. Jiang Yan naturally wanted the child to attend the one closest to home, so the three of them went to inspect the actual situation of these kindergartens, starting from the nearest to the farthest.
