Gu Yunting's gaze remained fixed on the slender figure in the distance through the rearview mirror. Even after Ye Wan got into the car, he couldn't bring himself to look away. A strong surge pulsed in his chest; he longed to hold her, to kiss her, but he dared not.
Upon arriving at the company, Gu Yunting found the staff in the lobby gathered around the lounge, engrossed in something. He frowned in displeasure. His mood had already been poor, and now it worsened.
"What's going on?" Gu Yunting's cold voice cut through the air, startling everyone.
The staff dispersed, revealing a small figure seated in the center. Ye Tuan Tuan immediately leaped up with joy and dashed towards Gu Yunting, exclaiming, "Uncle Gu, you're back!"
Ye Tuan Tuan's pretty little face was lit up with excitement. She bounced to Gu Yunting's front, her bright eyes fixed on him.
