Ye Tuan Tuan had no idea the kind of trouble she was causing Ling Che. When she was little, all five Ling brothers were called "Dad" by Ye Tuan Tuan. The little girl didn't understand back then and called them "Dad" for three years. By the time she was a bit older and understood, she stopped. However, when it came to fathers, she still considered those men her dads because they were genuinely good to her, and Tuan Tuan liked them a lot.
So, when it came to having a parent sign a contract, her mother would certainly not come. That's why she thought of Ling Che. She had called him "Dad" when she was younger, so she implicitly considered him her father.
Gu Yun Ting, on the other hand, was so furious he felt dizzy. He had imagined a hundred ways to kill Ye Tuan Tuan's father. Yet, he also felt a pang of regret. He didn't want to meet that man. If he really killed him, would Ye Wan be sad? Would Ye Tuan Tuan be sad?
In less than a minute, countless thoughts flashed through Gu Yun Ting's mind. Tuan Tuan, seeing his distracted look, asked, "Uncle Gu? Are you listening to me?"
"Mm," Gu Yun Ting responded.
Ye Tuan Tuan felt it was best to sign the contract as soon as possible, fearing that delay might bring unforeseen changes. She said, "Then, can I have my dad come and sign the contract now? This way, we can both start earning money sooner."
Hearing this, Gu Yun Ting felt as though all his blood rushed to his head. His heart churned, but his expression remained unchanged. He said, "Fine! You call him over!!"
Ye Tuan Tuan looked at Uncle Gu, who appeared calm but made her heart skip a beat, feeling bewildered. She didn't understand why, but she still made the call, asking Ling Che to come and help sign a contract.
After she finished the call, she told Gu Yun Ting that the call was done and her dad would be arriving soon.
Gu Yun Ting narrowed his eyes, looking at the little girl before him. He decided he would send her away later and teach that man a lesson. He wanted to see what kind of man Ye Wan had found after leaving him!
...
Qiao Qiao had been trying to pacify her daughter, but Gu Ru Jun only became more insistent, crying and fussing. This child had been spoiled since birth and was very wilful. She only restrained herself in front of her elder brother, Gu Yun Ting.
Today, she felt she had suffered immense injustice and cried incessantly. Qiao Qiao also felt annoyed and turned away, no longer paying attention to her. Gu Ru Jun's crying grew even more intense.
...
An hour later, Ling Che arrived at Gu Corporation. He had certainly heard of Gu Corporation, but they had no dealings or interactions with the Gu family, so he had never been involved with them before.
Ling Che had handsome features and was tall and slender. He dressed flashily, exuding a somewhat roguish aura, appearing like a dissolute young master. Upon entering the company, he attracted considerable attention. He approached the receptionist, winked at her, and smilingly said he had an appointment with Mr. Gu to sign a contract.
The receptionist was dazed by his charm and called to confirm. The secretary already knew, so she allowed him to proceed upstairs.
At this point, Gu Yun Ting also received the news of his arrival. He immediately opened the surveillance feed to see what kind of man Ye Wan had married. However, the more he looked, the deeper his frown became. Ling Che was not only flashy but also walked with an air of impropriety. He even adjusted his hair in the elevator mirror, appearing truly ostentatious.
Gu Yun Ting felt a blockage in his chest, nearly dying on the spot. Only one sentence echoed in his mind: What on earth had Ye Wan married?
Is this Ye Tuan Tuan's father?
