The two of them studied math problems for about an hour. Yun Bujia glanced at his phone. To avoid interruptions, he had silenced it, so he hadn't received any calls. He saw numerous missed calls from Zhou Hao, Li Xiang, and Zhao Mai.
"I'll make a few calls back. Let's call it a day. Don't get too tired; you can do some homework," Yun Bujia doted on Jiang Mianmian, not wanting her to overexert herself.
"You go ahead, don't worry about me," Mianmian didn't feel like doing homework at the moment.
Yun Bujia went out to call Zhou Hao back. The call lasted about ten minutes. After it ended, his expression was quite grim.
He then called Li Xiang back. Li Xiang said he would return to school the next day. The truth was, he didn't want to stay away, but his mother wouldn't allow him to come.

"Silly girl, I was just teasing. If you want to eat, I'll pay. How can I let a girl spend money?" Yun Bujia patted her head.
"Why are you still so chauvinistic? What era is this, and you're still saying such things? Why can't girls spend money on boys? I have money and I'm willing. I don't spend money on just anyone," Mianmian couldn't help but retort.
Hearing her say she didn't spend money on just anyone, Yun Bujia's heart felt as sweet as if it had been smeared with honey. He suddenly felt that letting her spend a little money on him wasn't a big deal. It meant she cared about him.
"Alright, alright, you're right. How about, my dear lady, you treat me to king crab sometime? I've never eaten that thing, and I hear it's incredibly expensive."
"Now that's more like it. Let's go, you're treating today," Mianmian said unceremoniously.
"Absolutely. I accepted such an expensive gift from you, so it's only right that I treat," Yun Bujia reached up to touch the peace buckle around his neck.
"This wasn't expensive either. Compared to the bear you gave me, it's far from it."
