Chapter 691 I Want It Taken Down Completely

Gu Yun Ting frowned as he looked at her. Suddenly, he gripped the back of her head with his other hand and kissed her fiercely. Didn't she know he had rushed over like a madman upon hearing the news of her distress, only to find it was a trap she had set?

Ye Wan's eyes widened as she tried to push him away, but her strength was no match for his. She couldn't budge him at all and finally had to resign herself to letting him vent his frustration.

When Gu Yun Ting released her, he asked, "What exactly do you want to do?"

"Heal your hand. Once it's healed, I will absolutely never bother you again," Ye Wan said, catching her breath and looking at him resolutely.

"Do you care whether my hand gets healed or not?" Gu Yun Ting pressed her down and asked.

"Yes, I can't accept you like this... It breaks my heart!" Ye Wan's eyes were firmer and brighter than ever before.

"Fine, I'll get it treated. Can you let me go now?" Gu Yun Ting took a step back and raised his hand.

Ye Wan looked at his burnt hand, her heart feeling as if it had been struck a heavy blow. She lowered her head, feeling a bit disheveled, and dared not look again. She said, "I need to call Jin Lan to schedule the surgery. I'll let you go once we're outside the operating room."

"Alright, you make the call. I'm hungry now, can I have something to eat?" Gu Yun Ting said hoarsely.

Ye Wan looked at his gaunt face and thin cheeks, feeling so heartbroken it was suffocating. She regretted using such a clumsy tactic to try and tie him down,

but she truly couldn't think of a better way.

The house only had leftover beef and some vegetables from lunch. Ye Wan made him a beef brisket rice bowl. Only after watching him eat did she start calling Jin Lan.

"Then I'll arrange the surgery immediately. You can bring him over in about an hour," Jin Lan said, overjoyed to hear that Gu Yun Ting was willing to treat his hand. He immediately gathered specialists from various departments to prepare for a joint treatment.

"That kid has decent cooking skills," Gu Yun Ting said, looking at the woman beside him with a hint of jealousy.

"Not bad, it's indeed quite tasty. I've eaten quite a bit of it," Ye Wan said with a smile.

"It seems I need to find someone to chop off that kid's hands!" Gu Yun Ting said with a cold smile.

"No, that child still has college entrance exams to take. Please spare his life," Ye Wan said, realizing her joke had gone too far and quickly trying to placate him.

"Given that he cooked for you, I'll let him off for now. But if he has any improper thoughts about you, don't blame me for being impolite." Gu Yun Ting continued to eat, and he had to admit, the kid was a good cook.

"Are you overthinking things? What thoughts could he have about me? He sees me as an older sister."

Gu Yun Ting offered no opinion on this, as she herself had no idea how many people harbored thoughts about her.

But it didn't matter, anyone who had thoughts about her would no longer appear, as he had dealt with them all.

After the meal, Ye Wan 'escorted' Gu Yun Ting to the hospital. Upon their arrival, Jin Lan joyfully ushered Gu Yun Ting into the operating room.

Ye Wan sat outside, waiting for the surgical results.

When Gu Yun Ting's tightly clenched fist was cut open inch by inch by a knife, revealing two rings embedded in his palm that had already fused with his flesh, Jin Lan was utterly shocked.

"You refused surgery because of these two rings?" Jin Lan asked, looking at one of the rings, a silver one that had been burnt and deformed. It was likely the thumb ring he had always worn, a birthday gift Ye Wan had made for him herself. He had always cherished it and never took it off.

"I want it removed intact," Gu Yun Ting said plainly.
