"Do you have any siblings? I've never heard you mention your family," Qi Fan asked, curious what kind of parents could have produced a fairy-like beauty like Ye Wan. If she had brothers or sisters, would they be as beautiful as her?
"I have a younger brother, but he's not with me right now. He's still young, and I miss him quite a bit," Ye Wan said, a touch of sadness in her heart as she thought of her brother. She wondered how he was doing now. He was so young to be willing to suffer hardship. She only hoped he would eventually get what he wanted.
In fact, Ye Wan felt a lot of sympathy for Ye Cheng. He didn't know his parents from such a young age. He was hospitalized, had surgery. He seemed to have been unlucky from birth, much like her own fate. That was why she wanted to save him so desperately.

"Did he go abroad to study? Or did your parents divorce and separate you two?" Qi Fan was merely curious.
Ye Wan remained silent, seemingly lost in some memory. Qi Fan felt as though she had said something wrong and didn't press further.
After the plane landed, Ye Wan and Qi Fan were the first to disembark. Once everyone had gathered, Cai Ya immediately started with her usual sarcasm. Ye Wan didn't even glance at her, choosing to treat whatever Cai Ya said as if it were air.
A special car had been arranged to pick them up. After everyone had boarded, Cai Ya was already so angered that she was speaking without regard for consequences. She felt Ye Wan's complete disregard for her was the greatest insult.
"If some people are really rich, why don't they help everyone upgrade their seats? Upgrading just one or two people, what kind of rich person is that? Aren't you just showing off to everyone?" Cai Ya continued her sarcastic remarks in front of the foreign receptionists.
Ye Wan had slept quite comfortably on the plane and wasn't sleepy now. She didn't want to listen to this woman's nonsense anymore. She took out her earphones, put them in, and turned up the volume. She had no time to deal with people looking for trouble; she still had to find an antidote for Gu Yunting.
Qi Fan couldn't stand it anymore. She said, "Miss Cai, if you have money, upgrade your own seat. What are you expecting from Ye Wan? Aren't you just trying to take advantage? Is it a crime if you can't take advantage? Have some dignity!"
"Qi Fan, you have dignity, but you're also taking advantage of Ye Wan! Do you think you're so noble?" Cai Ya didn't like Qi Fan either. She always had that look of arrogance. She really hated it.
"So what? Are you jealous? Are you envious? Ye Wan is willing to let me take advantage of her, but she doesn't want you to. That means you're a terrible person!" Qi Fan wasn't afraid of her and retorted without hesitation.
"What you're saying is that everyone else is a terrible person, and only you are good, so Ye Wan upgraded you." Cai Ya immediately shot back.
"Don't try to put words in my mouth. Everyone knows what kind of person I am. It's not something you can provoke with a few words. I'm just saying you're terrible!" Qi Fan smiled in a way that was particularly infuriating.
She had been in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for several years. She was very good at dealing with people, and everyone liked her. Did Cai Ya really think a few words could make everyone believe she was implying something about everyone? How naive!
"You!" Cai Ya's face turned green with anger at her words.
"What 'me'? I advise you to learn how to behave before you act. If you can't even behave yourself, you're embarrassing your parents! I feel ashamed for your parents. You have no manners at all." Qi Fan rolled her eyes and didn't want to deal with such a person anymore.
