When Jin Lan came to bring Ye Wan food, Ye Wan wrote two characters for him with a pen, "Sun Ma."
"Sun Ma called me. She said her face is allergic and she can't come over for fear of scaring you. She told you to rest here and recover," Jin Lan explained.
"Is it serious?" Ye Wan wrote a few more characters, inquiring.
"I asked someone to send her some ointment. It shouldn't be too serious, right?" Jin Lan placed the congee in front of her for her to eat.
A knock sounded on the door. Jin Lan went to open it and saw a strange girl standing at the entrance. Ning Xin looked up at the incredibly handsome doctor in front of her and gasped. However, she wasn't as infatuated as Jiang Yan. She recovered and said, "Ye Wan lives here, right?"
"Are you Ye Wan's classmate? Come in," Jin Lan moved aside to let Ning Xin enter.
Ning Xin was here to give Ye Wan her class notes. They had exams coming up soon, and failing them would result in a deduction of credits. Ye Wan had high standards for her studies and always aimed for full marks. She didn't want any mistakes.
Seeing that it wasn't Jiang Yan delivering the notes, Ye Wan felt strange. She quickly wrote and asked Ning Xin if something had happened to Jiang Yan.

That evening, the driver from the Gu residence came to pick up Ye Wan from the hospital. Ye Wan packed her things and went back with the driver.
