Chapter 359 Those Who Block the Way of Humans Shall Die, Those Who Block the Way of Buddhas Shall Die

"Dirty! So dirty! How can I not wash it clean!" Ye Wan still wanted to wash her hands, feeling they were truly filthy.

Gu Yun Ting held her, preventing her from moving wildly. Ye Wan looked up at him, tears streaming down her face, "I killed someone, these hands killed someone!"

Only then did Gu Yun Ting understand her meaning. It was because of this. He said, "That was self-defense. Even in court, you would be innocent. Moreover, that man was an utterly wicked villain. What you did was eliminate evil for the people!"

Ye Wan stared blankly at the man before her, her beautiful eyes shimmering with tiny glints of light. Gu Yun Ting picked up her small hands and kissed them, one by one, finally holding her fingertips with his lips and gently, repeatedly, caressing her tender fingertips with his tongue.

Ye Wan felt ticklish from his actions and pulled her hand back forcefully. Gu Yun Ting picked up her other hand and kissed it thoroughly, "Now it's clean. Good girl."

Gu Yun Ting carried her out of the bathroom. She lay on the bed and, miraculously, with the hands he had kissed, she no longer felt that sense of dirtiness.

Back on the bed, Ye Wan instinctively moved away, curling herself up on the bed with her back to the man behind her. She couldn't accept the fact that she had been defiled.

Gu Yun Ting frowned, looking at her resistance towards him. For a moment, he didn't know where the problem lay, and he felt a hint of frustration.

He called Jin Lan to give Ye Wan some medicine. Ye Wan asked Jin Lan if he knew how Jiang Yan was. Jin Lan shook his head indifferently, stating he wasn't aware.

She borrowed Jin Lan's phone to send a message to Jiang Yan, telling her she was fine now. Jiang Yan quickly replied, also reporting her safety.

Seeing that Jiang Yan was fine, Ye Wan felt relieved. She lay still, not moving or speaking, like a lifeless doll.

Gu Yun Ting couldn't stand to see her like this. He turned and went outside, lit a cigarette, and his mood grew even more agitated.

Jin Lan noticed Ye Wan's distress and asked her what was wrong. Ye Wan remained silent. Jin Lan thought for a moment and said, "Don't overthink it. You couldn't have predicted this. Your classmate brought it upon himself and dragged you all down with him. You should really thank Brother Ting this time. If he hadn't arrived in time to save you, you would have been in dire straits! You didn't see Brother Ting's state back then, he was killing anyone who stood in his way!"

"What do you mean, arrived in time?" Ye Wan's eyes finally focused, and she looked anxiously at the man beside her.

"Those scumbags were just about to assault you then. Brother Ting dealt with them with a few shots," Jin Lan explained.

Hearing this, Ye Wan suddenly sat up, startling Jin Lan. "You, you, you... be careful!"

"You mean, I wasn't assaulted by those people?" Ye Wan asked him cautiously.

Jin Lan blinked, then understood her meaning. "Oh, so that's why you scrubbed your hands until they bled. Aren't you silly? Of course, you're fine. Brother Ting arrived in time to save you."

"Really?" Ye Wan still couldn't believe it, afraid Jin Lan was lying to comfort her.

"Of course, it's true. Jing Xiu and I were with Brother Ting when we arrived! You should have asked if you had any questions. Why... you didn't think you were... Oh my god, Xiao Wan Wan, can you please say something if you have something on your mind? If you have questions, just ask, don't just muddle through it yourself, okay?"

Gu Yun Ting, who had returned to the doorway, overheard this conversation and finally understood why Ye Wan had been so out of sorts.
