Ye Wan was going mad with anxiety as blood streamed from Jiang Yan's inner thigh. No matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't move and could only watch helplessly.
A burnt smell wafted over. Ye Wan and Jiang Yan stared in shock as Jiang Yuling ignited the curtains. The curtains were flammable, and the fire spread rapidly.
Sister Hong called back and, upon entering, cursed inwardly upon seeing the woman thrashing in the fire. She rushed over, took one look at the man lying on the ground, shouted a couple of times into the inner room, and dragged Ye Wan away.
"Ye Wan... Ye Wan..." Jiang Yan was frantic, tears streaming down her face, but she couldn't do anything to stop it.
"I beg you, take my friend with you!" Ye Wan was also desperate. She looked at the woman beside her with difficulty. "You can't leave her. Take her with you, and I'll do anything you say!"
Jiang Yan would be burned to death if she were left behind!
"You can barely save yourself, and you're worried about your friend? I only take the most valuable!" Sister Hong was unmoved and led Ye Wan out of the room.

Ye Wan dialed Jin Lan's number. He knew something was wrong when she didn't respond after his calls, so he immediately notified Gu Yunting. Gu Yunting had Ye Wan's location tracked, and they both rushed to the hotel.
When Jin Lan burst in, he saw Jiang Yan lying unconscious on the floor at a glance. His pupils contracted violently. He rushed in, saw the blood flowing from beneath Jiang Yan's legs, and his eyes turned red. He bent down and picked up Jiang Yan.
"Jin Lan." Ning Xin leaned against the doorframe of the inner room, looking at the man she longed for, tears streaming down her face.
Jin Lan frowned, glanced back at her, and then instructed Gu Yunting's approaching bodyguard, "Check on the person inside!"
"Where's Ye Wan?" Gu Yunting asked, his face grim as he looked at the unconscious woman.
"Not inside. You go ask the person inside first. I'm taking her to the hospital; her condition is critical," Jin Lan said, then hurried away with Jiang Yan.
Gu Yunting immediately rushed inside, but the bodyguard quickly stopped him and reported, "Miss Ye is not inside; she seems to have been taken away beforehand!"
Ning Xin was helped out by a bodyguard. She watched Jin Lan carry Jiang Yan away, her tears falling even harder. He seemed to not care about her at all.
Jiang Yuling, who had fainted from smoke inhalation, was also dragged out by bodyguards. Gu Yunting didn't spare them a glance. He ordered someone to find a computer as quickly as possible, and his fingers flew across the keyboard. Soon, he found Ye Wan's whereabouts.
Ye Wan's phone was custom-made and had a tracking function, which proved to be very helpful.
"She's heading to the western suburbs. Send cars to intercept immediately!" Gu Yunting commanded, then ran out. As he ran, he ordered bodyguards to surround the area.
As Gu Yunting drove away, his subordinates had already contacted the traffic control department to clear his path. As he passed, red lights turned green, and all vehicles yielded. Gu Yunting's car flashed through the city like lightning.
His face was expressionless, but anyone who dared to harm Ye Wan, even slightly, would be made to pay with their lives!
In the van, Ye Wan's drug effects had worn off. Her hands and feet were bound, and she sat in the back. Sister Hong sat beside her, smiling at her as if looking at a pile of money.
