Light laughed loudly as his subordinate approached, "Abomination, you'd best release the contract of my brethren. I'll give you a swift end."
As soon as it finished speaking, a purple figure suddenly shot from the right towards Light.
"You fool."
Light turned and swiped with his forelimbs, sending the Glutton flying once more.
"Such a degenerate. A noble purple beetle from the insect realm, willingly becoming a slave to this abomination. I am saving you from a life of suffering, yet you show no gratitude and repeatedly attack me. Do you wish for me to strike you down?"
"You hit my master, so I hit you." The Glutton stated righteously, "Even if you are also a purple beetle, I will kill you."
Upon hearing this, Light was simply enraged. While some of his brethren, silver or golden beetles, were occasionally contracted by other races, they never became truly devoted. They would surely retaliate if given the chance. What was wrong with this fool before him? If they had only allied with him, they could have quickly subdued the shapeshifting abomination and escaped their predicament.
Little did Light know, the Glutton's loyalty to Qin Shilei had reached a hundred percent, with not even a millionth of a chance of rebellion.
Meanwhile, Qin Shilei seized the opportunity while Light was berating the Glutton. He summoned Vajra and ordered it to deal with the charging golden beetles. Simultaneously, he shouted, "Mount Tai's Collapse!" and charged at Light again.
Light, expecting Qin Shilei to unleash a powerful move, braced himself and parried a few blows, only to find that the latter showed no signs of a major attack. Instead, the summoned giant ape was pushing back Light's subordinates. Enraged, Light prepared to unleash his own ultimate move.
Suddenly, a rapid whistling sound descended from above. Light looked up and saw a purple figure hurtling down from a great height.
"You stubborn traitor, I will kill you!" Light's intention to rescue his brethren vanished, replaced by a murderous intent towards the Glutton. He swung his scythe, intending to force Qin Shilei back and then quickly kill the Glutton.
Qin Shilei seized the moment and teleported a hundred meters away. With the boost of gravity acceleration and the ultimate skill "Mount Tai's Collapse," the Glutton's speed increased with every passing second. Furthermore, it had activated the "Weight of a Thousand Mountains" attribute, breaking the sound barrier. Light, who had been complacent, began to feel a sense of unease. It moved, flashing to a spot thirty meters to its right.
To Light's surprise, the Glutton reappeared abruptly directly above it, less than twenty meters away. The pressure from above grew with each passing moment. Light's combat instincts, honed over centuries, told it that this move was extraordinary and unavoidable.
"Hmph, if I cannot dodge it, then I shall shatter it!" Light's heart hardened as it raised its forelimbs and swung with all its might.

Like a meteor impacting the Earth, a violent wave of energy erupted outwards, kicking up countless rocks and sand. The moment Light struck the Glutton, its expression changed drastically. It finally understood why Qin Shilei had shouted "Mount Tai's Collapse!" At this moment, it felt as if it were striking a massive mountain.
Light could not comprehend it. Twice before, it had easily sent the creature flying with a single blow. Why had its strength suddenly increased a hundredfold? The immense impact sent Light involuntarily sinking into the ground, and a vast crack appeared beneath its feet. What surprised Light even more was that it found itself disoriented.
Teleport! One-Punch Man! Qin Shilei immediately seized this fleeting opportunity, teleporting in front of Light and delivering a fierce blow.
Light, having just regained its senses, was horrified to discover that after taking Qin Shilei's strike, its entire body had become incredibly stiff, rendering it utterly immobile. It could only frantically channel the vital energy within its body, erecting multiple layers of defense around itself, and then watch helplessly as the opponent struck it down sword after sword. "You may fight to your heart's content. When I recover, I will crush your bones one by one."
Just as Light felt its mobility returning, it discovered that the phantom, which had been circling outside, suddenly thrust directly into the wound on its back. Then, all hope was lost. As it was about to recover, it was once again thrown into a state of rigidity. Under the full assault of Qin Shilei and the phantom, this purple beetle could not even survive a second two-second stun.
A treasure chest emitting a golden glow materialized beside it. A Platinum Six-Star purple beetle, without even unleashing its ultimate move, was swarmed and killed in such a manner.
Qin Shilei dug out the ability pearl and crystal core from the purple beetle's head, then tossed the creature directly to the Glutton. The Glutton devoured its own kind with the voracity of a starving ghost, leaving absolutely nothing behind. Its aura then surged, and it rapidly advanced to Platinum Two-Star. The "Devouring Stomach" attribute was truly formidable.
"Vajra, spare this insect!" Qin Shilei shouted loudly, signaling the distant Vajra not to kill the last golden beetle.
Without the previous purple beetle, the Glutton easily controlled the surrounding beetles, including the sole remaining golden one. Leaving the golden beetle to guard the entrance to the insect realm on this side of the spatial rift, Qin Shilei returned to Blue Star.
Qin Shilei took out a map, identified his direction, and set off for Tokugawa City again. As he arrived above Tokugawa City, he found the city below enveloped in countless spiderwebs. Giant spiders of immense size traversed the entire city, hunting for prey. The Demon Ape Vajra and various flying insects occasionally appeared but were quickly made prey by these giant spiders.
"Where exactly is the spatial rift in Tokugawa City?" Qin Shilei stood on Xiao Qiang's back, carefully observing the city below. These giant spiders did not charge towards Blue Star from the other side of the spatial rift like the beetles, so Qin Shilei could not pinpoint the spatial rift by tracking them.
Qin Shilei turned to the Glutton on his right and asked, "Glutton, control those giant spiders below and ask them where they came from."
The Glutton, however, shook its head and replied innocently, "Master, these spiders below are not from our insect realm. I cannot control them."
Qin Shilei looked astonished. "They are not from our insect realm?"
The Glutton nodded. "They are indeed not from our insect realm. They do not carry the aura of our insect realm."
Qin Shilei observed Tokugawa City below more closely. He noticed that the giant spiders were merely using the entire city as their nest, and unlike the beetles, they were not madly invading the surroundings. He then abandoned the idea of searching for the spatial rift within the city and turned to fly back towards Hope City.
