The person spoke too quickly, almost uttering the less-than-flattering word "number two."
"That is indeed me," Qin Shilei didn't bother with the other person's choice of words and ordered again, "Organize personnel to set up defenses immediately."
Then he looked up and called to Xiao Qiang, "You and the two shadow leopards will help these humans here. If any powerful mutated zombies appear, have them killed."
"Yes, Master." Xiao Qiang nodded, then ordered the two shadow leopards, "You heard the Master, right? Listen to my command later."
"Roar." The two shadow leopards growled and nodded, indicating they understood.
Although Xiao Qiang's strength was not as great as the shadow leopards, he was smarter and could communicate with Qin Shilei, making him more suitable to command the shadow leopards on Qin Shilei's behalf.

Soon, all the Silver tier mutated zombies lay dead on the ground.
Five of them had died blocking attacks for the Zombie King, killed by the illusion, while the rest were killed by Qin Shilei.

He then quickly took out a contract scroll, tore it open, and threw it at the Zombie King, before forming a hand seal and pressing it against the latter.
Qin Shilei's spiritual power immediately entered the Zombie King's mind.
A violent surge of mental power rushed towards his mind through the connected channel.
Qin Shilei concentrated his mind, resisting this mental shock, and continued to invade its sea of consciousness, hoping to leave a mark of control in its soul.

However, the illusion spat out sword energy again, causing the Zombie King to stiffen on the spot.
The Zombie King could only watch in horror as Qin Shilei split it in half with a single sword strike.
Annoyed by his carelessness, Qin Shilei specifically had the illusion immobilize the opponent before personally dispatching the Zombie King.
He should have severely injured the Zombie King first before attempting to control it.
But due to a moment of carelessness, his mind suffered considerable damage.
He had initially intended to recruit a Zombie King as his subordinate, but after being injured, he lost interest for the time being.
It was just a Zombie King; he would encounter them again in the future. Such a cunning yet untrustworthy Zombie King was not fit to be his subordinate.
