Chapter 37 The Shameless Zhang Yong

Qin Shilei exited from the back of the small building. After making a loop, he mounted the Thunder Dragon and sped towards Zhang Yong.

Upon reaching Zhang Yong, he braked sharply. "Get on quickly."

Perhaps hearing the sound of the motorcycle outside, the supermarket door was opened a crack.

"Whoosh!"

A swift arrow shot through the gap in the door.

Although it didn't hit anyone, it scared those inside into immediately closing the door tightly.

After pulling Zhang Yong onto the bike, Qin Shilei twisted the throttle hard and returned to the small building.

The second-floor hall.

As soon as Zhang Yong saw An Qian, he said affectionately, "An Qian, why did you risk yourself for me? If you were accidentally injured, how could I find peace?"

An Qian helped him to the sofa and explained while bandaging him, "This is mainly Qin Shilei's credit. If you want to thank someone, thank him."

Zhang Yong turned to look at Qin Shilei and finally said reluctantly, "Thank you."

Qin Shilei smiled and turned to give Zhang Xiaoli a thumbs-up. "Your shot just now was amazing!"

Zhang Xiaoli smiled sheepishly. "I was just shooting randomly. How could I have known it would go through the door gap?"

She paused and then asked, "Brother Qin, do I have a talent for archery?"

"Yes, you absolutely do." Qin Shilei didn't want to dampen her spirits.

Hearing this, Zhang Xiaoli secretly rejoiced and toyed with the short bow in her hand, thinking about finding a target to shoot a few more arrows later.

After finishing bandaging Zhang Yong, An Qian chose her words carefully. "Zhang Yong, I'm planning to leave with Qin Shilei and the others. I'll find a place for you to hide, and then we'll leave."

Zhang Yong's expression flickered rapidly. Finally, with a look of dejection, he said, "You go. My leg is injured, and following you will only be a burden. Just leave me here to fend for myself."

An Qian's heart softened, and she almost wanted to stay with him until he recovered. However, her worry for her mother ultimately overcame her guilt.

"I'm sorry, I really can't stop worrying about my mother. I'll leave you enough food, and you'll get better soon."

Qin Shilei walked over to Zhang Yong and prepared to help him up. "Let's move you somewhere else."

"Get out!" Zhang Yong pushed Qin Shilei's hand away and roared, "I don't need your help, all of you, get out."

He paused and then sneered at An Qian, "He brought his girlfriend, and you're just going to throw yourself at him? Are you going to be the other woman? An Qian, don't you have any shame?"

An Qian's face turned red with anger. "I just want to go home. Qin Shilei and I are purely friends; don't spread rumors."

"Hmph!"

Zhang Yong scoffed. "Look at the way that pretty boy looks at you. Anyone can see what's going on. What are you trying to hide?"

"An Qian, for the past few days, I've been at the forefront for you, and I gave you all the Red Enlightenment Pills. Are these all worth less than some pretty boy?"

"I never thought you were this kind of person, abandoning your teammate as soon as I got injured."

"One day, you'll be abandoned too."

"You..." An Qian was so angry she turned to leave.

Zhang Yong's shameless voice still echoed from behind. "Didn't you say you'd leave me enough food? Are you even reluctant to give me that?"

An Qian stopped, picked up a backpack nearby, and threw it back before heading downstairs without looking back.

"Peh!"

Zhang Xiaoli berated, "An Qian truly has blind eyes to have asked Brother Qin to save you."

"Let's go, this kind of person isn't worth our anger," Qin Shilei said, pulling Zhang Xiaoli as they also went downstairs.

When Zhang Xiaoli wasn't paying attention, Qin Shilei threw several pieces of vulture meat into a hidden spot near the house.

There were still many rats in the small town. They would surely smell the delicious and nutritious vulture meat.

He believed those rampant rats would give Zhang Yong a lifelong unforgettable experience.

Afterward, Zhang Yong was indeed bitten to death by the swarm of rats.

The two found An Qian outside the back door of the building.

Zhang Xiaoli comforted her, "An Qian, you don't need to be angry with that shameless person. You don't owe him anything."

"Sob sob!"

An Qian hugged Zhang Xiaoli, sobbing as she recounted, "When Zhang Yong and I fought mutated zombies, I was at the forefront, and I was the one with the stronger ability attacking.

"Although we shared the Enlightenment Pills, I compensated him with other things afterward."

Qin Shilei also comforted her. "I've teamed up with you before, and I know your character. I'll go deal with Fei Biao and then leave."

With that, Qin Shilei crept towards the supermarket and discovered that the group had already left from the back of the supermarket.

He had no choice but to return to the front of the supermarket with An Qian and the others and collect the thugs' firearms.

Each taking a few guns for self-defense, they sped out of town on the Thunder Dragon.

As they reached the gas station in Donglin Town, they saw five or six vehicles refueling from a distance.

"Mo Deyi, get the hell out of the way."

"Fei Biao, shouldn't things be first come, first served?"

"I only care about who has the bigger fist. You disagree?"

"A stray dog is still so arrogant. Hurry up and run for your life. That divine archer will catch up soon and shoot you to death."

"Then I'll deal with you first."

Suddenly, everyone stopped and drew their guns, facing off against each other.

They were somewhat rational, knowing not to fire their guns at the gas station to avoid an explosion.

Mo Deyi, however, secretly cursed himself.

He really had a big mouth. Why did he impulsively provoke Fei Biao just now?

At the supermarket, fearing the unerring divine archer, they had all left through the back door.

Zhang Hu, unwilling to abandon the civilians, was at the rear.

Mo Deyi and Ding Caimao persuaded a few people who valued their lives, and with their families, they drove three vans here first.

Fei Biao arrived soon after. As soon as he arrived, he wanted to monopolize the fuel tanker to refuel.

Mo Deyi felt that Fei Biao's strength had significantly weakened and impulsively retorted a few words.

Fei Biao sneered ferociously, "Heh heh, you don't think that because I lost a few brothers, I can't handle you little punk, do you?"

Mo Deyi's face flushed with shame, and he gritted his teeth, saying in a low voice, "Let's go."

Fei Biao glanced at the vans and suddenly said, "You can go, but leave the women in the cars behind."

"You..."

"They are our wives. Don't push it too far."

"We'll fight him!"

Mo Deyi's side shouted about fighting to the death, but their hands holding guns trembled slightly.

There were only five of them, while Fei Biao had nine.

Fei Biao was a desperado, while they had only just started holding guns in the past few days.

Suddenly, a roaring sound came from the direction of the town.

A subordinate next to Fei Biao looked up and said, "Boss, it's the person who hit you last night. That woman is also in the car."

He paused and then added, "They're stopping and turning around. Are they trying to escape?"

Fei Biao said to Mo Deyi, "Consider yourselves lucky. Get lost."

Mo Deyi secretly rejoiced at the timely arrival of the motorcycle and turned to run towards the van.

Ding Caimao and the other four also turned to leave first.

Fei Biao winked at his subordinates.

"Bang bang bang!"

With a series of gunshots, Mo Deyi and the others simultaneously collapsed in a pool of blood.
