The demons, however, felt the complete opposite. Their ferocity and bloodlust receded, replaced by an involuntary surge of fear.
Countless intelligent demons turned and charged down towards the crowd below.
Only by hiding amongst the masses might they find a slim chance of survival.
A dazzling sword shadow reappeared, and it seemed as if a rain of purple and red blood fell from the sky!
As a phantom figure weaved through the demon horde, their numbers began to dwindle.
Whether they were demons of the Gold realm or those at the Platinum peak, they couldn't withstand a single strike from Qin Shilei, all falling to the ground as corpses.
Qin Shilei harbored no thoughts of taking these demons as pets for his subordinates; he showed no mercy in his attacks.
The Phantom, the Vajra, the Golden-winged Thunder Roc, and the Purple Beetle were all released by Qin Shilei to assist him in slaughtering the enemy.

The evolutionist fell to the ground, only to transform into a terrifying-looking demon.
Qin Shilei's figure flickered, moving through streets and rooms on the ground, swiftly locating and slaying one demon after another.
"Stop!"
A demon with a long tail, gripping an evolutionist in each hand, shouted threateningly, "Don't come any closer, or I'll kill them immediately."
A figure suddenly appeared behind it. A silver glint flashed, and the demon's massive head flew through the air.
In front of Qin Shilei, who possessed instant teleportation, the demon's attempt to use hostages as a threat was utter folly.
The demons hiding in the shadows could no longer remain still. They rushed out from their hiding places and fled into the distance once more.
This would only hasten their demise.
In less than three minutes, under the piercing gaze of Qin Shilei's Divine Eye of Rectification, all nearby demons were exposed and killed.
He then took out the Mountain River Scroll and infused it with his vital energy.
He noticed two red dots and eighteen green dots rapidly moving away from Zhengqi City.
These were likely demons with extraordinary survival and escape abilities, to have fled two to three hundred kilometers without a trace.
"Alliance Leader Chu, these directions and these directions with the remaining demons are your responsibility."
Qin Shilei pointed to the green dots on the Mountain River Scroll in two directions and said to Chu Ye.
Then, he turned and pursued the two red dots.
Anthony and a succubus of Platinum peak cultivation, after taking a circuitous route, flew towards the spatial rift with grim expressions.
They had used every method to stimulate their potential, hoping to escape to the spatial rift before that terrifying human caught up.
When Anthony first arrived on Blue Star, he was full of ambition.
He never expected to be fleeing in such a pathetic manner, like a stray dog, less than half an hour after arriving.
As they saw themselves only three minutes away from successfully returning to the Abyss, Anthony and the others felt a flicker of hope for survival.
Suddenly, a silver light shot from behind them, pursuing them.
Anthony's face contorted in shock, and he quickly activated a life-saving item at his waist.
Just as the sword light was about to cleave him in two, his figure vanished from the spot.
The succubus, however, did not possess such a precious life-saving skill. Despite her desperate attempts to dodge and throwing out several defensive items, her left hand was still severed by a single sword strike.
"Ah!"
The succubus screamed and fell towards the ground.
After rolling a few times, the succubus did not immediately get up to flee. Instead, she provocably displayed her alluring body to its fullest.
"Powerful human, I am willing to become your slave. I hope you will spare my life!"
The succubus's voice was sweet and enchanting, capable of making one's blood surge and desires ignite with just a listen.
Qin Shilei, despite his astonishing self-control, felt a surge of heat within him due to her provocative movements.

His figure moved, and he once again pursued Anthony.
He quickly closed the distance to within a few kilometers.
Anthony knew he had no chance of successfully escaping through the spatial rift, so he turned and shouted loudly at Qin Shilei.
"Human powerhouse, how about we strike a deal?"
Qin Shilei slowly stopped tens of meters away from him, looking at him with a hint of interest.
Seeing that Qin Shilei did not immediately kill him, Anthony felt a sliver of hope.
"I am the son of Lord Andre of the Abyssal world. If you spare me, I can serve as your inside man in the Abyssal world. I can provide you with intelligence from the Abyssal world, and even help you devise traps to kill powerful beings in the Abyss. Keeping me alive will yield you far greater rewards than killing me."
Qin Shilei's interest was piqued.
Killing the opponent would at most yield a Gold treasure chest. However, by keeping him alive, he could gain a deeper understanding of the Abyssal world.
Qin Shilei said calmly, "It's not impossible to spare your life, but how can I trust you? And what useful information can you provide me?"
Anthony said obsequiously, "In our Abyss, we have a secret technique. As long as we form a master-servant contract, you can easily control my life and death, and you will never have to worry about me betraying you.
Currently, the spatial rift can be traversed by Platinum realm powerhouses. As time goes on, Diamond realm and even King realm demons will be able to enter Blue Star through the spatial rift. I presume you know very little about our Abyss, while I am thoroughly familiar with it.
