Chapter 1547: Chapter 849: Dark Abyss (2)
Chapter 849
Mo Jiuli and Little Lingling traveled from Anhei Mansion City to the Dark Abyss, flying continuously all day, which took a month’s time. The closer they got to the Dark Abyss, the more desolate the surroundings became, nearly an uninhabited land. For the first half of the month, Mo Jiuli and Little Lingling rarely stopped—only occasionally pausing for a day in cities to buy some supplies or inquire about news…
Twenty days later
From a few days ago, Mo Jiuli and Little Lingling began choosing to walk. The dangers of the Dark Abyss were unclear to them, so Mo Jiuli decided that for the last ten days of the journey, they might as well train while advancing on foot…
Her objective this time wasn’t anything else but honing herself to improve her strength!
Over the past few days, however, they hadn’t encountered any danger along the way. Apart from the sparse population, everything seemed quiet beyond expectation, leaving Mo Jiuli very puzzled…
“Little Lingling, are you sure we’re heading in the right direction? Why haven’t we come across anything in the past few days?” Mo Jiuli asked, looking at Little Lingling.
“Mom, the direction is right. If flying, it would take about ten days; walking, it would take roughly a month! But why it’s so quiet, I don’t understand either…” Little Lingling frowned as she replied.
The dangers of the Dark Abyss were only something she’d heard of; she had never been there herself. She initially expected the journey to be fraught with perils but hadn’t imagined such tranquility…
“In that case, Little Lingling, lead the way. Anyway, this doesn’t feel like training at all!” Mo Jiuli thought for a moment and said.
She came for training and improving her strength, yet hadn’t encountered a single person or beast along the way, making training impossible. Not even any medicinal materials of interest appeared for her to pick. It felt like a waste of time; she might as well venture into the Dark Abyss directly…
“Alright, Mom, I’ll lead the way!” Little Lingling agreed.
Half a month later
“Mom, up ahead is the Dark Abyss. We can’t fly any further; the area ahead is a Forbidden Airspace!” Little Lingling paused midair, looking at the pitch-dark expanse ahead.
“Let’s go down. It’s deep night now; we’ll return to the Space to rest and deal with it tomorrow!” Mo Jiuli said as she gazed ahead at the pitch-dark region.
“Alright, Mom.”
After landing, Mo Jiuli took Little Lingling back into the Space. Upon seeing Mo Jiuli return, Qiuqiu jumped onto her chest and said excitedly, “Master, there’s treasure inside!”
“Hmm? Treasure? What type of treasure?” Mo Jiuli raised her brows and asked, looking at Qiuqiu.
This little guy had been unusually quiet, and it was rare to see it so excited. Mo Jiuli couldn’t help but feel curious.
“I don’t know—it’s a treasure, inside there!” Qiuqiu’s eyes sparkled as it responded.
“Alright, when dawn breaks, we’ll go in to check it out. Qiuqiu, can you find the treasure you’re talking about then?” Mo Jiuli asked with a smile, looking at Qiuqiu.
“Mhm mhm, I can find it!” Qiuqiu said joyfully.
In the Space, Mo Jiuli ate a little, freshened up, changed into some clean clothes, and had a comfortable sleep. She also went to check on Baobao and the others, who were still in seclusion…
Only when daylight broke outside did she bring Little Lingling and Qiuqiu out of the Space. As soon as they emerged, Qiuqiu pointed ahead and said, “Master, it’s over there!”
“Alright, let’s go!” Mo Jiuli said, holding Qiuqiu, while Little Lingling followed closely at her side.
