"Miss, let Guard Tang teach them a good lesson!" Qiao'er suggested.
Yun Ying's delicate face, which was usually as innocent as a child's when facing young ladies from noble families in the capital, was now filled with cunning and malice. "Guard Tang, tie these two up and send them to the authorities. Tell the officials they attempted to assassinate this young lady! I'll make sure they never see the outside of a prison cell again for the rest of their lives!"
"Yes!" Guard Tang, standing to the side, immediately moved towards Yun Shu and Jing Heng.
Jing Heng stepped in front of Yun Shu. "Master, my hands are itching."
"I'm in a good mood today and don't want to see a bloody mess. Don't kill them, just have some fun," Yun Shu said in a calm tone.
She hadn't intended to say much, but if she didn't, the next thing she would see would undoubtedly be a pool of blood and a chaotic scene, which would spoil her appetite for the evening.
Jing Heng acknowledged with a "good" and headed towards Yun Ying and her two companions.
Yun Ying and Qiao'er, master and servant, were smug. A mere two lowly commoners? They could crush them with a flick of their feet! A mere carriage driver against guards was simply suicidal!
Yun Ying sneered, crossing her arms, and looked down at Yun Shu, eagerly awaiting the show. She could already imagine the scene: the two of them would soon be kneeling before her, weeping and begging for mercy.
But in the next moment...
She was stunned!
"What! Miss, what! How could this happen?! How is this possible!" Qiao'er exclaimed, stumbling backward in shock.
To her disbelief, Guard Tang was sent flying by a single kick from the carriage driver!
The kick must have carried immense force, as Guard Tang landed on the ground, spitting up several mouthfuls of blood. He struggled to even get up, his ribs feeling as if they were broken!
The carriage driver didn't stop and continued to walk towards them.
"Ah!" Qiao'er was directly kicked in the face.
She had no time to dodge at all!
Qiao'er screamed, and with a "plop," spat out her broken teeth along with blood.
"It... hurts so much..."
Witnessing this, Yun Ying was utterly terrified. She backed away step by step, pointing a trembling finger at Jing Heng. "Don't come any closer! Don't! I am the daughter of the Grand General! If you dare to harm me, the Grand General's manor will not let you go!"
Jing Heng's eyes were deep and cold, like those of a venomous snake, devoid of any emotion or warmth. With a similarly merciless kick, he sent it towards Yun Ying's legs.
Yun Ying was forced to her knees. She knelt directly in the direction of Yun Shu.
Jing Heng reached out and grabbed Yun Ying's neck.
"No... no..." Yun Ying's face turned crimson as she struggled, her eyes rolling back. Who were these two people? Why were they so terrifying?!
"Mi... ss..." Qiao'er tried to speak, but found her front teeth missing, causing her to lisp. What kind of vengeful gods had they provoked today? They weren't even afraid of the General's manor! And now, he was strangling their young lady to death!
Yun Shu's gaze remained calm as she leaned against the carriage, observing with leisurely interest. Just as Jing Heng was about to finish Yun Ying off, Yun Shu spoke softly, "Ah, we are civilized people. When will you learn to be gentle with women? Don't choke her to death."
Jing Heng's deep voice responded drily, "I don't know how to."
Gentle with women? Were they made of jade? What was there to be gentle about?
Yun Ying broke free and collapsed onto the ground, her vision blurring. Yet, she cursed, "I will kill you... I will have you all cut into a thousand pieces."
Hearing this, Yun Shu's lips curved into a smile, her eyes twinkling as she looked at Yun Ying, recalling everything the original owner had suffered.
