Chapter 521: Supportive Roar.

The bees were flying brawlers who relied on their sharp stinger and powerful mouthparts to defeat their enemies. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't reach her before she fried them with lightning.

Arthur observed her power while he fought his own battles. What he noticed was that she couldn't control her power accurately.

He wasn't surprised by this because she lacked a divine sense for fine-tuning and control of mana. Her situation reminded him of Thor and his rank 3 golem.

She can't control her power, just like Thor couldn't properly control the powerful golems. She also couldn't sustain her power output for a long period of time, just like Thor.

The reason for why she couldn't sustain the power she gained from the world is the same as why Thor couldn't sustain controlling the power of the golem. The reason was that controlling the power of the world placed a heavy burden on her mind.

Her mind is weak and tires easily. So she could barely fight at her peak for more than five minutes.

Most importantly, he noticed that she wasn't stronger than him. However, he wasn't sure if this was because she was holding back.

He is also holding back because he doesn't need to use his full strength to defeat the bees. Besides, he needs to make the fight appear as if he was struggling, so he didn't go all out.

Since he wasn't displaying his full power, he had reasons to suspect that she wasn't displaying her full power either. But if he was wrong and what she showed was all that she was capable of, she wouldn't be his match.

Be that as it may, he had a good time hunting. It wasn't because he was hunting with her. He simply had a good time because he had managed to fulfill his killing requirements.

As for the contribution points requirements, he planned to make up for it with energy stones. With this done, he would be free to spend another ten years cultivating without worrying about the interference from the sect.

While his enjoyment lay in practical terms, he was sure that the enjoyment of Stellar and Roar wasn't so practical. The two of them were troublemakers who liked to play all sorts of games.

Roar looked like he was having a good time with Stella, but Arthur wasn't sure how much of that was genuine and how much of it was because of the influence of Stella's body.

He didn't point out his suspicion, though. He just let the two of them have their fun without being the stick in the mud.

They spent the better part of a day hunting. Then they returned to hand in the mission and end the day.

On the way to his apartment, Stella said, "I had fun today. I wish we could do this more in the future."

Arthur said, "Unfortunately, I am very busy. I can barely make the time."

Roar reinforced his point by adding, "He doesn't passively cultivate like you. I mean, he can cultivate passively because of his cultivation technique, but his speed of passive cultivation can't compare to yours. This is another reason why I would choose your God Physique over some creative talent."

Arthur chuckled and said sarcastically, "Thank you for the support, Roar."

Roar had gotten smarter, so he noticed the sarcasm. Unfortunately, he wasn't smart enough to figure out why Arthur was being sarcastic.

This made him ask in confusion, "What did I do?"

Arthur rolled his eyes at him and said, "Don't worry about that. Let's get back to the matter at hand. We were talking about me being too busy to spend time meeting people."

Roar nodded and said, "Yeah."

Then he turned to Stella and said, "That's true. He doesn't meet people. He has not left his cultivation room for up to ten years now. He is completely boring."

"He is not like me. I'm fun. But because of him, I rarely have fun. It is a tragedy."

Arthur couldn't take his unsupportive dog anymore. So he said, "If you are so fun, why don't you follow her to have fun with her?"

Roar perked up when he heard that. He wagged his tail in excitement and asked, "Really?"

Stella's eyes also lit up, and she asked eagerly, "Can he truly?"

He replied as if he was in a hurry for them to leave, "Yes. You too can go and have fun together. Leave me alone to get work done."

The two of them cheered. Then Stella said to Roar, "Let's go. I'll show you my room. You'll like it."

Roar replied eagerly, "Okay."

Then Stella rose into the air. Roar followed her.

Arthur watched them go with a smirk on his face. He shook his head and chuckled as he said to himself, "He will be back."

He decided to enter his apartment. So he flew straight to his floor in the tower.

But before he could go far, Roar returned in a flash of light. He was faster than when he left, so it looked like he was running away from something. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ Nov3lFɪre.ɴet

Arthur turned to him and asked, "What happened?"

Roar replied with fear in his eyes, "I had forgotten that she lived on one of those floating abominations. I almost stepped on it."

Arthur laughed for a while. He laughed as he opened the doors to his apartment and went in with Roar.

When they were inside, he asked Roar, "What is it that you're afraid of? You know you can fly, right? Even if the island falls, you will be safe."

Roar shook his head and said stubbornly, "Those things aren't normal. The earth shouldn't be in the air. It is an abomination."

Arthur put away his Warhammer. As he did, he asked, "So what's next? Won't poor Stella be disappointed that you can't have fun with her?"

Roar replied, "We decided to have fun somewhere that isn't on any floating abomination. She will come tomorrow to take me there."
