Chapter 107 The Siren's Tomb

Sea monsters continuously emerged before their eyes.

Zhang Tian and the others frowned slightly.

"Five of them. Fatty, Old Hu, you take one, and Kirin and I will each take two."

Zhang Tian was not afraid. Frankly, these sea monsters posed no significant challenge.

Although Zhang Tian lacked swordsmanship, or even any physical cultivation techniques, he had light footwork and a health-cultivation technique, which was enough.

Health cultivation could enhance strength and contain true qi. Combined with light footwork, killing two sea monsters was well within his capabilities.

Without hesitation, the four of them charged forward.

Hu Bayi, possessing light footwork, moved quite swiftly.

"Roar."

The five sea monsters let out sounds from their mouths and rushed forward. Their limbs seemed boneless, extending wildly and attacking Zhang Tian fiercely.

Zhang Tian, wielding his long sword, could sever large swathes of tentacles with a single strike.

Zhang Qilin was even more formidable. His Black Gold Ancient Saber emitted dark saber energy, flashing continuously, and with almost two strikes, he could sever a sea monster's arms.

Everyone acted relatively quickly.

These sea monsters were no match for Zhang Tian and the others.

In about three minutes, the five sea monsters were decapitated.

As for Fatty, with Hu Bayi's assistance, he had easily killed one sea monster.

"Boss, it really stinks."

Fatty covered his nose. The corpses of the surrounding sea monsters emitted a foul odor.

Zhang Tian glanced at Zhang Qilin.

Zhang Qilin's movements when killing the sea monsters were too fast, several times faster than his own. Indeed, there was still a significant gap between them.

Hu Bayi walked ahead. The water on the ground was filled with the green blood of the sea monsters.

Where the sea monsters had crawled out, a downward tomb passage was visible.

It was very deep, and one could not descend without breathing apparatus.

"Second Brother, are you alright without an oxygen tank? We don't know how deep it is inside."

Hu Bayi looked at Zhang Qilin.

He was worried that if the tomb passage was too deep, Zhang Qilin might have issues with oxygen.

"Mmm~"

Zhang Qilin hummed and shook his head.

Indicating he was fine.

Zhang Tian and the others put on their masks and prepared to descend.

Little Turtle also quietly crawled into the backpack. Little Turtle was not afraid of water and was therefore unaffected.

Fatty, however, was somewhat flustered.

He was carrying a large mirror. If he had to swim with that, it would surely weigh him down.

"Boss, why don't we switch?"

Fatty blinked and looked at the large mirror on his back.

"No switching. Go and curry favor with the princess yourself."

The simpering fatty.

Zhang Tian said, and then he jumped down.

"Old Hu..."

"Keep it up, Fatty, I support you."

Hu Bayi also patted Fatty's shoulder and then jumped down.

Er...

Before he could even finish speaking, Zhang Qilin had also entered the water.

Fatty looked helpless.

"This Fatty is very simple; you guys are the complicated ones!"

Fatty no longer hesitated and jumped into the water, carrying the large mirror.

Just as he had expected, Fatty's descent was faster than any of them.

Fatty was naturally heavy, and with a large mirror on his back, he sank even faster.

Zhang Tian saw a shadow flash before his eyes.

Then, a thudding sound of something hitting stone echoed from the bottom of the water.

"Ah, so fast."

Zhang Tian sighed inwardly.

"Too fast. Fatty's backside is probably ruined."

Hu Bayi chuckled, and Zhang Tian gave him a thumbs-up.

The tomb passage was long. As they descended, they soon reached Fatty.

Fatty was sitting in the tomb passage, clutching his backside, his face full of pain.

"Damn, this mirror is so heavy. Before this Fatty could even feel the sensation, I've already fallen."

Fatty said, his gaze then fixed on the tomb passage not far away.

Zhang Tian pulled Fatty up.

"Let's go. Who told you to carry that thing?"

Hu Bayi said, and then they swam forward.

After about tens of meters, another upward tomb passage appeared.

After a period of passage, the group finally exited this water-filled tomb passage.

Upon emerging, they were in a vast expanse of seawater. The surroundings were pitch black, and there were no more tomb passages in the area.

"Where is this place?"

Fatty looked around the empty expanse of water, and with the absence of tomb passages, a sense of dread filled him.

It was like the deep sea, and the five of them were submerged in its depths, devoid of sunlight and air, utterly dark.

No one knew what lay beneath their feet, and that suffocating feeling quickly spread through everyone.

Zhang Tian swept his flashlight around. There was nothing but seawater.

"Boss, above!"

Hu Bayi pointed to the sky.

Fatty and Zhang Tian looked up abruptly.

Under the beam of the flashlight, two suspended tomb chambers appeared.

They were very large, one to the left and one to the right. The tomb chambers seemed to be floating in the air, held by iron chains.

The construction of these tomb chambers must have used special materials, otherwise, they wouldn't be able to float in water. It was likely they were made of large wooden boards or very light stone.

Seeing this, Zhang Tian made an upward gesture.

Then, everyone began to ascend.

Soon, at the entrance of the suspended tomb chambers, they stood before the stone doors.

The doors were made of stone and were carved with images of sea demons, clearly indicating this was a side tomb dedicated to sea demons, likely housing them.

Zhang Tian guessed that the other tomb chamber was for the curse of the Jin Po (禁婆).

It should be filled with Jin Po.

However, the door to this sea demon tomb chamber was already open.

Water had already spread inside.

"Boss, this door is already open!"

Fatty said, looking at the tomb chamber before him.

"Let's go in and take a look."

Zhang Tian pointed to the tomb chamber, and they swam inside.

Upon entering the main gate, they found another tightly closed door. Clearly,

"This tomb chamber door has a hollow design. After the second door opens, the first door closes, and the water is drained from the tomb chamber."

"This is to ensure the airtight sealing of the tomb."

Zhang Tian explained, and Hu Bayi nodded.

"This tomb door is carved with sea demon patterns, along with a human figure, likely Wang Canghai. These sea monsters are Wang Canghai's pets. Look, there's a button here."

Hu Bayi said, pointing to the head of the sea demon where there was an indentation.

"Don't rush. Let's close the door first and block off the seawater."

Zhang Tian said, and Fatty proactively went to close the first tomb door.

Then, Hu Bayi pressed the button.

Suddenly, the ground beneath them began to drain water furiously, like a toilet flushing.

Immediately after, the tomb door before them creaked open, revealing a gap.

Seeing this, Zhang Tian did not rush in.

"Old Hu, the front tomb door has opened, but the inner door is still closed. This indicates someone has already entered."

"The traps we encountered earlier, and so on, I suspect there will be similar ones inside. Let's be careful."

Zhang Tian said, and Hu Bayi nodded, taking out his compass and looking at it seriously.

Lin Tian took out the Lu Shang King's sword and held it firmly.

Then, they carefully entered.

Upon entering the tomb, it was different from what Zhang Tian had imagined. It was not as damp as expected; instead, it was surprisingly dry.

"It's so dry in here, Boss. I feel like we could even start a fire and cook."

Fatty patted his stomach.

After such a long time tomb raiding, Fatty was already hungry.

If possible, Fatty even wanted to barbecue the sea monsters.

Zhang Tian tapped his headlamp.

This thing seemed to have been damaged by water.

Fatty's was also the same.

It was pitch black all around, with no light visible.

Hu Bayi looked closely at the walls of the tomb chamber.

Finally, he called out to Lin Tian.

"Boss, there are torches in here. We can light them."

He said, and Zhang Tian became even more puzzled. A tomb in the ocean, made so dry, and with torches? It was strange.
