To see more clearly, the driver turned on the headlights of the bus, front and back.
The conductor soon reappeared from the withered grass, accompanied by the three men.
"Where did you go!"
"Why are you back so late!"
"Exactly! You scared us half to death!"
Complaints poured in, but the conductor's expression grew increasingly grim.
"Get on the bus quickly." The driver, eager to return the passengers to their final destination, didn't notice anything amiss with the conductor and kept urging them to board.
A man following the conductor chuckled softly, "Yes, let's get on the bus quickly!"
But the conductor's steps were heavy, and she didn't seem inclined to get on.
"Hurry up!" The driver was already seated, ready to depart.
The man behind the conductor gave her a push, and she slipped, stumbling forward.
The man, quick as lightning, grabbed her and whispered in her ear, "Don't try any tricks. Don't forget I have accomplices on the bus!"
He deliberately lowered his voice, and besides the conductor, only Ning Wei, with her keen hearing, caught his words.
She twirled her ring, ready to act at any moment.
The four quickly boarded the bus. The driver cautioned them, "Sit tight, let's go!"
The man let out a couple of chuckles, revealing the sharp knife pressed against the conductor's back. "I'm afraid no one is leaving tonight!"
Only then did the driver see the situation clearly in the rearview mirror. He immediately stood up and said to the man, "Don't do anything! Ask for whatever you want! Just don't hurt anyone!"
It was clear he was deeply worried about the conductor.
The man used the sharp knife to stroke the conductor's body, using the blade as his hand. The strokes grew more indecent, moving from top to bottom, from her prominent chest to the valley below.
The driver's face turned ashen, and the conductor was so ashamed she wished she could jump off the bus.
At this moment, the man's four accomplices also stood up. Each of them held a sharp knife, brandishing them before the passengers.
The passengers immediately turned pale, deeply regretting not having listened to Ning Wei and left these robbers behind!
There were five robbers in total. By holding the conductor hostage, they controlled the driver, and thus, the bus.
Ning Wei had to admire their planning. They had thought of every step.
"What exactly do you want?" the driver asked again, afraid the robbers might lose their grip on the knives and hurt his wife. httpδ:/m.kuAisugg.nět
The man sneered, signaled his companions, and then the group began to search the passengers for valuables.
The passengers, intimidated by the knives, were very cooperative. They handed over all their valuables – phones, jewelry, and cash – into the bag provided by the robbers. The bag clinked and rustled with their contents.
Soon, it was Ning Wei's turn. However, they didn't even have enough money for their bus fare, let alone any other valuables.
The robbers didn't believe them and forcibly searched Mei Nan and Song Zhi. After confirming they had no money, they cursed them.
Their gaze fell on Ning Wei and the other girls. They were in the prime of their youth, and their demeanor was different from that of rural women. The robbers' eyes lit up, and after a silent exchange, they understood each other's intentions.
"You don't have anything valuable either?" one of the men with a sharp knife stood before Ning Wei. He hadn't forgotten that Ning Wei was the troublemaker who had urged the driver to start the bus.
Ning Wei shook her head slightly. "We are students on a research trip to the countryside, and we only brought money for the fare."
Saying this, she took out a wad of bills and very cooperatively dropped it into the bag.
But the money, perhaps twenty yuan at most, was not even enough for five men to fill their bellies.
Then, a man leered at them, "I don't believe you have no money. You're from the city, you must all be wealthy!"
"We really don't," Ning Wei replied with a frown.
The man still looked unconvinced and proposed, "How about we search you. If we really find nothing, we'll let it go and won't trouble you."
His lecherous grin left no doubt that they weren't just after money.
At this moment, the conductor stepped forward. "They are students, they really have no money!"
"Shut up!" Interrupted, a man directly slapped the conductor hard.
The driver could no longer stand it. He lunged forward, but before he could reach them, he was kicked to the ground by a man.
The space in the bus was already limited, and the driver's fall landed with a thud.
Perhaps the kick was too hard and injured his stomach, as the driver couldn't get up for a long time.
"Sun Run!" the conductor cried out her husband's name.
The driver clutched his stomach, enduring the discomfort, and reassured her, "I'm fine."
The passengers were stunned. They had thought these men were only after robbery, but they hadn't expected them to resort to violence.
Fearing they would be beaten, everyone quietly turned their heads away, pretending not to see anything.
The robbers noticed the passengers' behavior and were pleased with their compliance. They let out a couple of satisfied laughs.
With this cautionary tale of the driver being beaten, the robbers turned their attention back to Ning Wei. "It's your turn. I advise you to cooperate, so you won't have to be beaten."
"You're not allowed to touch her!" Song Zhi and Mei Nan immediately stepped in front of Ning Wei.
The robbers were displeased and raised their fists to strike.
Just then, the leader suddenly shivered all over and then asked his companion, "Did you get everything?"
His companion, unsure why he asked this, nodded in agreement.
Then, the leader pressed the sharp knife against the conductor's waist, forcing her to get off the bus.
"You guys watch them on the bus. I'm going to take this pretty woman for some fun!"
His idea of fun was clearly not good. The driver's face turned red, and he scrambled to his feet to stop them.
Unfortunately, there were too many robbers. One directly blocked him, knocking the driver down with two punches. Then, he sat squarely on the driver, tied his hands behind his back, rendering him immobile.
The robbers' actions became more and more outrageous, and the conductor grew fearful as the man began to undress her.
"Help me! Help me!" The usually defiant conductor finally couldn't help but beg the passengers for help.
But the passengers were afraid of drawing attention to themselves. The driver's fate was still before their eyes, and they wanted neither to be beaten nor stabbed.
Hearing the conductor's pleas, they simply closed their eyes, covered their ears, and feigned ignorance.
The conductor was desperate. Another man got off the bus and helped to remove her clothes.
Under the threat of the sharp knife and the robbers' whispered threats, she stood naked under the moonlight.
