Chapter 35 Academy Battle Sixteen

Ripples spread across the lake, a sign that Uncle Manager was dragging something through it.

Everyone stood frozen, watching the female ghost's figure gradually vanish.

"Alright, let's get back to business," Ning Wei suddenly said.

Caught off guard, everyone jumped again.

"Isn't this the business for tonight?" Fu Chengwei asked dazedly.

Ning Wei wiggled a finger. "This was just the appetizer."

Having wasted too much time at this school, Ning Wei was already starting to miss the flight attendant covered in maggots.

Ning Wei addressed them, "The key to getting the bus ticket lies with the homeroom teacher of Class 1-2. She's the principal's daughter and the big boss of this school. As for how to get the ticket from her, you don't need to worry about that. Just don't do anything stupid before I succeed."

Ning Wei's words landed like a heavy blow, leaving everyone stunned.

"Alright, meeting adjourned!" Having said all she needed to, Ning Wei turned and left the grove.

Everyone was bewildered. They had first watched Ning Wei drag someone to the lake as if they were a dead pig, and then she had said some things they couldn't hear.

Someone suspected, "Was she possessed by something?"

"Hush! Don't say that here. Didn't you just see what happened?"

At the mention of it, everyone quickly left the grove.

When Ning Wei returned to the dormitory, it was almost time for lights out.

Her roommates were already in bed. She quietly went to the balcony to wash up, and upon returning to her bed, she deliberately glanced at the opposite bunk.

Her deskmate used to sleep there, but now the bed was empty, with her roommate's luggage placed on it.

Ever since Ning Wei discovered her deskmate was the current homeroom teacher, she had completely vanished from Ning Wei's sight.

All traces of her had been erased, and Ning Wei's current headache was how to find her again.

Ning Wei wanted to ask why, after all that had happened, she had chosen to return to this school.

And weren't the things she was doing now just making others experience her past pain?

Was it because she had been through the rain that she now wanted to snatch away everyone else's umbrellas?

Ning Wei tossed and turned in bed, unsure when she finally fell asleep.

After she fell asleep, her deskmate appeared by her bedside.

Her deskmate's expression was contorted, as if she was in deep distress.

Finally, she reached out and brushed Ning Wei's face, and Ning Wei instantly entered another time.

She was no stranger to this kind of time travel.

Ning Wei remembered clearly that she had been sleeping in her bed, but now her gaze fell upon the restroom.

She was locked inside a cubicle, the smell of disinfectant filling her nostrils.

The adjacent cubicle was lively with the sounds of gurgling water, sharp curses, and tearing clothes.

Ning Wei stood on the toilet, tiptoeing to peer over the cubicle wall. Her deskmate, the one she had been thinking about, was kneeling on the floor, drenched.

Several girls of the same age were blocking the cubicle door. They wore identical clothes but had vastly different expressions.

They were arrogant, domineering, and looked down on everyone.

Her deskmate was pitiful, wronged, and had no one to turn to for help.

A slap landed forcefully. "You dare to cry!"

Another person said, "Sister Wang, give this little vixen a lesson!"

"We need to teach her a good lesson today, see if she dares to seduce someone else's boyfriend again!"

"Pull her clothes open, let's see if she's a fox spirit in human skin!"

They each offered different suggestions, as if they were not facing their former classmates, but enemies with a deep-seated hatred.

Her deskmate, however, had a timid personality and offered no resistance.

Her clothes were torn, exposing half her shoulder, and the inner garments were also clearly visible to the group.

A dark-skinned girl among them had an idea. She took out a cigarette and a lighter from her pocket, lit it, and handed it to Sister Wang.

Sister Wang glanced at it, then immediately took it and jabbed it into her deskmate's body.

The smell of burning flesh filled the small cubicle, accompanied by her pained screams.

At this moment, someone who didn't know what was happening tried to enter the restroom, saw the scene, and immediately pretended nothing had happened, quickly leaving the scene.

This person's departure took away the last sliver of hope for her deskmate.

Ning Wei watched as the light in her deskmate's eyes "whooshed" and extinguished.

Like the fleeting flame of a lighter, it vanished in an instant.

Ning Wei knew that every scene she saw was intentionally shown to her by her deskmate, so every decision she made would likely affect the lives of all the passengers.

After a moment of thought, the bullying in the next cubicle had not stopped, and Ning Wei had made her decision.

She kicked open the cubicle door, her face a mask of coldness as she appeared before them.

The group of girls, led by Sister Wang, didn't take her seriously at all.

"Hurry up and leave, do you want us to remember you?" one of them said.

Ning Wei remained still.

She saw her deskmate placing her hope in her once again.

Sister Wang's pride was trampled by Ning Wei. Since she had arrived, everyone had avoided her from ten meters away, especially when she was in charge. This restroom was her domain!

Sister Wang threw the still glowing cigarette towards Ning Wei.

Ning Wei dodged slightly, then suddenly kicked out, striking Sister Wang in the chest. She fell to the ground in pain.

The henchmen around her couldn't stand it and all swarmed forward.

Ning Wei was fearless. Even though the space was cramped, it didn't hinder her movements at all.

She grabbed a swinging fist, pulled the person forcefully, and threw one of them onto the toilet.

One person kicked at her; she gripped their ankle and helped them perform their first split in life.

A few minutes later, the restroom was filled with wails and low pleas for mercy.

Ning Wei took a step forward, and the others retreated, not daring to approach.

"Tch." Ning Wei let out a disdainful sound, then pulled up her disheveled deskmate from the ground, helping her fix her clothes.

The cigarette butt on the floor hadn't been extinguished yet. Ning Wei was a thrifty person, so she sat directly on Sister Wang, pulled open her clothes, and forcefully pressed the cigarette butt into her skin.

This was not enough. The cigarette butt was truly resilient; it still hadn't gone out.

Since it hadn't gone out, she might as well press a few more.

Black marks were left on her body and face.
