The two sat on the sofa watching the performance, bored.

The ear-piercing music reverberated throughout the entire floor. Ning Wei wondered, it was set up so discreetly, obviously not wanting to be discovered. Yet, the atmosphere was so lively. Was this meant to be known or unknown?
Ten minutes passed quickly. The two sat in their secluded spot, which was truly hard to find unless one looked carefully.
This was the secret of this arrangement and why guests enjoyed coming here.
From this vantage point, one could engage in daring acts without fear of being seen by others, yet still be in the public eye, offering a special thrill.
Many guests seeking excitement would specifically come to this spot for enjoyment. For instance, the sounds of debauchery could be heard from the sofas on either side of Ning Wei.
Under the cover of this noise, it provided a sense of concealment. Most people, being sensible, wouldn't come over to disturb them.
Therefore, when that regular customer left, embracing Shanshan, he didn't even glance this way, walking straight out of Pink Crystal.
The elevator was to the left of the main entrance. Li Ye calculated the time. Then, a server casually walked past their table and secretly held up four fingers.
This indicated that the regular customer had gone to a room on the fourth floor. Only then was the server's task successfully completed.
Li Ye smiled with satisfaction, then quickly led Ning Wei out of Pink Crystal.
Upon exiting, they saw the elevator indeed stopped on the fourth floor.
Li Ye pressed the button for the fourth floor. From this level, one could freely access any part of the hotel.
However, from other areas, reaching this floor was not so simple without someone leading the way, giving it a feeling of being easy to defend but hard to attack.
While waiting for the elevator, Ning Wei glanced back into Pink Crystal.
People were still coming and going at this hour, the atmosphere of neon lights and pleasure, tireless men and women; it was another world of bliss.
She wondered if the Victoria Grand Hotel still held this secret place after all the events that had transpired.
"Ding," the elevator arrived.
"Ning Wei, let's go," Li Ye said softly, his arm around her waist.
Ning Wei lowered her head and nodded, following Li Ye's steps.
Stepping into the luxurious elevator, the spider ghost was not present.
"It seems the hotel is at peace at this time," Ning Wei murmured to herself.
"One can only say that no lives have been lost yet," Li Ye replied softly.
As the two stepped out of the elevator, they saw the regular customer, embracing Shanshan, swiftly enter a room, followed by his two bodyguards.
"Are they planning a foursome?" Ning Wei blurted out.
Li Ye's cool gaze fell upon her.
Ning Wei immediately looked up at him with a smile, "Sir Handsome Guest, let's quickly get to our room. I'm already impatient."
Li Ye smiled helplessly, then led her slowly towards room 4044.
Since that person was next door, they could learn about their movements just by listening.
After entering the room, Ning Wei went to the bathroom and put on a bathrobe over her slip dress.
Her attire in Pink Crystal had been a matter of circumstance. Now, alone with Li Ye in a hotel room, she felt the need to cover up more, fearing something might happen.
When she emerged from the bathroom, Li Ye was already sitting by the wall, holding something.
Seeing Ning Wei enter in slippers, he made a shushing gesture and then pulled back a corner of the quilt for her.
"You should rest on the bed first," Li Ye said softly to Ning Wei.
Ning Wei nodded, completely complying with his arrangements. She tiptoed to him, then took off her bathrobe and slipped under the covers.
The cool quilt touched her skin, making her shiver.
"Cold?" Li Ye asked with a frown.
Before Ning Wei could answer, he strode over and turned on the air conditioning. Once he confirmed the temperature was suitable, he walked back to continue their eavesdropping.
Ning Wei snuggled under the covers, watching Li Ye's serious expression, and couldn't help but let out a burst of laughter, "So handsome, I never expected you to have such a peculiar hobby."
Li Ye gave her a helpless look and said nothing.
During the long wait, Ning Wei gradually closed her eyes.
Before falling asleep, she was still thinking that this regular customer was quite something; he'd been in there for over an hour and hadn't made a sound of "waving the flag" yet.
The hotel's soundproofing was truly excellent. Only someone like Li Ye, who wasn't human, could "hear through walls."
Ning Wei couldn't hear anything, so she simply closed her eyes to sleep.

The thought of Pink Crystal filled Ning Wei's dreams with all sorts of dazzling lights. Those lights flashed in her mind, preventing her from falling into a deep sleep.
A cold hand suddenly touched Ning Wei's wrist. She instinctively opened her eyes, ready to retaliate, only to see Li Ye's handsome face.
"Once we get the ring, I can help you find the others. Don't worry." It turned out he had seen through all her worries.
Thinking this, Ning Wei felt a warmth in her heart.
She looked at Li Ye with wide eyes. Li Ye smiled, gently stroked her head, and said very tenderly, "Sleep, I'm here for everything."
Ning Wei had always been independent and never relied on others. However, after meeting Li Ye, their cooperation gradually evolved into trust and reliance.
