During his tenure as prefect of Xihe Commandery, Wu Qi studied Confucianism and reformed Wei's military system, establishing the Wuzu system. Later, Gongshu Cuo led the Wuzu troops trained by Wu Qi to defeat the allied forces of Han and Zhao. In the seventh year of King Wu of Wei, Qin Hui Gong mobilized fifty thousand troops to attack Yin Jin in Wei. Wu Qi personally led fifty thousand soldiers who had not yet earned military merits, along with five hundred chariots and three thousand cavalry, and inflicted a great defeat on the Qin army.
In the ninth year of King Wu of Wei, the King appointed Wu Qi as general to lead an army to attack Qi, advancing as far as Lingqiu before returning. Before long, he became the subject of the King's suspicion and thus left Wei, heading south to take refuge in Chu.
Upon arriving in Chu, Wu Qi initiated reforms. After Wu Qi's reforms, Chu's national strength grew. They attacked Baiyue to the south, expanding Chu's territory, strengthening the economic and cultural exchange between the Central Plains and Lingnan, and consolidating Chu's rule over the former territories of Chen and Cai.
In the twenty-first year of King Dao of Chu, under Wu Qi's command, the Chu army marched north to aid Zhao, which was under attack by Wei. Chu and Zhao armies greatly defeated the Wei forces. At this point, all the feudal lords feared Chu's might. However, his reforms infringed upon the interests of the old aristocracy. When King Dao of Chu died, Wu Qi went to the funeral site and was shot. He pulled out the arrow and fled to the place where King Dao's body was laid. The aristocrats who shot Wu Qi also riddled King Dao's corpse with arrows.
According to Chu regulations, those who desecrate the king's corpse with weapons will have their entire clan exterminated. The newly enthroned King Su of Chu, in accordance with this rule, ordered the Yin to execute all those who had shot King Dao's body while shooting Wu Qi. Over seventy families were implicated and exterminated.

Sun Wu!
Teacher of a hundred generations of military strategists!
The progenitor of Eastern military science!
His work, The Art of War, is hailed as a "sacred canon of military strategy!"
When he first presented The Art of War to the King of Wu, to test Sun Wu's abilities, the King ordered Sun Wu to join the army during the great battle between Wu and Chu. In the Battle of Baiju, Sun Wu commanded the Wu army, a force of thirty thousand, to march a thousand li into a larger state. He achieved five victories in five battles, striking directly at the capital of Chu, creating a miracle in Chinese military history of defeating the many with the few and establishing outstanding military achievements for Wu.
Who was it that commanded a hundred thousand troops and was unmatched in the world? It was Duke Huan. Who was it that commanded seventy thousand troops and was unmatched in the world? It was Wu Qi. Who was it that commanded thirty thousand troops and was unmatched in the world? It was Wu Zi.

Experience: Sun Wu was a noble of the state of Qi. In 512 BCE, King Helü of Wu consulted with Wu Zixu, planning to advance westward. Wu Zixu "recommended Sun Zi seven times," leading Helü to agree to meet Sun Wu. While in seclusion, Sun Wu had written The Art of War. Thus, under Wu Zixu's recommendation, he presented his military treatise to the King of Wu, who secretly admired him.
In 508 BCE, Wu adopted Sun Zi's strategy of "attacking diplomacy," instigating Tong to rebel against Chu. He then had Shujiu deceive the people of Chu, after which the Wu army, catching Chu off guard, defeated the Chu forces at Yuzhang. Subsequently, they captured Chao and captured the defender of Chao, Lord Fan of Chu. In 506 BCE, the Wu army adopted Sun Zi's strategy of "living off the enemy," and after five major battles, they captured Ying, the capital of Chu, in just over ten days.
Later, in 505 BCE, the battle of Qin saving Chu occurred. The Qin army defeated the Wu army. Fugai then declared himself king domestically. The Wu army returned home and quelled Fugai's rebellion.
In 494 BCE, King Goujian of Yue attacked Wu. The Wu army, planned by Wu Zixu and Sun Wu, set up many "decoy soldiers" at night, divided into two wings, lit torches, and attacked the Yue army. The Yue army was quickly defeated. After suffering several defeats, Goujian had no choice but to seek a humiliating peace with Wu.
Afterward, his close friend Wu Zixu was killed. Sun Wu no longer strategized or contributed to Wu's foreign wars, and instead retired to the countryside, revising his military writings. From his retirement until his death, Sun Wu never left Wu and was buried outside the capital of Wu.

......
Deep within the ancient star road, the Imperial Ruins.
Within the Hall of the Buried Emperor Mountain.
冥老 (Ming Lao), who was sitting cross-legged with an endless abyss appearing behind him, suddenly opened his eyes. For some reason, he vaguely sensed a powerful killing intent emanating from the Immortal Realm, directly targeting the Imperial Ruins. This feeling pierced his heart like a sharp锥, causing him to tremble with pain.
"Ming Lao, what is wrong?"
Sensing Ming Lao's unease, 仙老 (Xian Lao) opened his eyes and frowned. Ever since the three of them entered the Imperial Ruins under the guidance of 荒源老祖 (Huang Yuan Lao Zu), he had never seen Ming Lao act so strangely.
"For some reason, I feel a powerful aura coming from the Immortal Realm. Could it be that the Great Han has produced another half-step transcendent expert who wishes to explore the Imperial Ruins again?"
As he spoke, Ming Lao's body trembled slightly. He was somewhat fearful, as Huang Yuan Lao Zu was in a deep slumber, and upon awakening this time, there was a high possibility that he would completely control the Source Tower and step into the seemingly non-existent realm of transcendence.
"I think it's best to make preparations in advance!"
After some thought, 荒老 (Huang Lao) spoke again, "The Great Han Celestial Court is extraordinary, and we cannot simply wait. Ming Lao's strong premonition suggests that changes are already occurring within the Immortal Realm. I propose we immediately copy the eleven supreme creation era giants from the Source Stele and station them within a hundred thousand li of the Imperial Ruins!"
"Huang Lao is correct. Master is at a critical juncture, and the Imperial Ruins cannot be disturbed. Stationing forces within a hundred thousand li is the most secure. However, let us also summon the Immortal Emperor Legion and set up defenses in the spatial gaps, with the three of us controlling the Imperial Ruins!" Xian Lao nodded.
"En!"
Ming Lao nodded slightly in agreement and said, "The variable that is the Great Han has completely slipped out of our control. We can only passively defend and await Master's success. When he steps into the realm of transcendence in the future, all of this will be easily crushed!"
