Tian Ji, adopting Sun Bin's strategy, launched a direct assault on Pingling, drawing the main Wei army. As expected, the two Qi forces attacking Pingling were routed. Sun Bin then instructed Tian Ji to send light chariots to strike the outskirts of Daliang, the Wei capital, enraging Pang Juan into recalling his forces. Simultaneously, Tian Ji was to send a small contingent to feign engagement with Pang Juan's approaching army, appearing weak to incite their arrogance. Tian Ji followed Sun Bin's orders precisely. As anticipated, Pang Juan's every move was foreseen by Sun Bin. Discarding supplies and advancing day and night with light troops, Pang Juan raced back to defend Daliang. Sun Bin, leading his main force, lay in ambush at Guiling and captured Pang Juan in a single sweep.
In 342 BCE, Wei General Rang Ci repelled the Han general Kong Ye's army. Marquis Zhao of Han sent an envoy to Qi for aid. Sun Bin again employed the strategy of "Besiege Wei to rescue Zhao," leading his army to attack Daliang, the Wei capital. Sun Bin planned to lure the enemy deep into a trap and annihilate them. The Wei army fell into the trap, and their formations fell into disarray. Pang Juan, realizing his defeat was inevitable, drew his sword and committed suicide, exclaiming, "Thus, I have made a mere boy famous!" The Qi army pursued, annihilating hundreds of thousands of Wei soldiers and capturing the Wei commander, Prince Shen.
After this battle, Wei's strength was greatly diminished, and its hegemonic position was lost, while Qi became dominant in the east.
In his later years, Sun Bin retired to Jianyí, established a school, taught disciples, and meticulously studied military strategy. He compiled the "Sun Bin's Art of War" in eighty-nine volumes and four volumes of diagrams.
"Ding! Nine hundred million Dao of Samsara Power deducted. Initiating summoning of peerless heroes from ages past!"
"Ding! Host notified, thirteen hundred million Dao of Samsara Power remaining!"
*Dong!*
At this moment, the Xuanhuang Pagoda, having absorbed a massive amount of Samsara Power, was filled with resonant sounds, as if deities were roaring. The river of history surged forth, a magnificent scroll unfurling from the Spring and Autumn period. Flags fluttered, and arrows formed vast killing formations, streaking across the sky. The river of history flowed from the Spring and Autumn period to the end of the Warring States, the Qin Dynasty. With a *dong*, a figure appeared on the eighth level of the Xuanhuang Pagoda, seated in a war chariot. Behind him, the Qin battle flag floated, and a character for "King!" gradually materialized. Instantly, a fierce army of wolves and tigers appeared behind him!
Figures flickered on the river of history. A colorful starry river streaked across the sky above the soul sea. As stars shifted and turned, a carved figure on the eighth level of the Xuanhuang Pagoda flashed and rushed into the fourth level of the Xuanhuang Pagoda.

"Accompanying Troop Type: Peerless Troop Type - One Hundred Thousand Qin Elite Soldiers!"
Experience: Wang Jian was a native of Dongxiang, Pinyang. From a young age, he was fond of military matters and served Qin Shi Huang.
In the eleventh year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, Wang Jian led troops to attack Yan, the capital of Zhao. In just eighteen days, he sent home officers below the rank of Wei Wei (a hundred shi). He then selected two men from every ten in the original army to remain. These chosen soldiers were the elite of the army. Wang Jian led this highly motivated elite force to capture Yan, and simultaneously took nine cities of Zhao.
After the elimination of Lü Buwei and Lao Ai, King Ying Zheng of Qin formally ascended the throne. In the eleventh year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, the war of unification officially began, opening with the Qin army's attack on Zhao. In the eighteenth year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, Wang Jian marched from Shang Commandery, descended into Jingxing Pass, preparing to completely destroy Zhao. However, he encountered the famous Zhao general Li Mu, and they were in a stalemate for over a year with no progress. Wang Jian employed a counter-espionage plot, eliminating Li Mu, routing the Zhao army, killing Zhao's commander Zhao Cong, and capturing Zhao's capital Handan. Zhao King Qian was captured, and Zhao's former territories became Qin commanderies.
In the twentieth year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, the historical incident of Jing Ke's assassination attempt on Qin Shi Huang occurred. After Jing Ke's failure, King Ying Zheng of Qin was furious and used this opportunity to dispatch Wang Jian to lead an army to attack Yan. King Xi of Yan and King Jia of Dai allied to resist the Qin army. However, they were defeated at the Yi River. Wang Jian seized the opportunity to capture Yan's capital Ji. King Xi of Yan fled to Liaodong, and Yan ceased to exist as a state.
Time moved to the twenty-first year of Qin Shi Huang's reign. King Ying Zheng of Qin convened his ministers to discuss the grand plan to destroy Chu. Wang Jian believed an army of six hundred thousand was needed, while Li Xin thought two hundred thousand would suffice to defeat Chu. King Ying Zheng was overjoyed, believing Wang Jian was old and useless, and thus dispatched Li Xin and Meng Tian with two hundred thousand troops to march south against Chu. Soon after, the Chu army feigned weakness, retreating while fighting, and then launched a surprise attack, shattering two camps of the Qin army and killing seven Qin commanders.
King Ying Zheng of Qin was greatly enraged. He personally took a fast chariot to Pinyang, apologized to Wang Jian, and agreed to his request for reinforcements. Thus, Wang Jian led an army of six hundred thousand troops and, before departing, requested numerous fertile fields and estates from the King of Qin. Before leaving the pass, he requested them five more times. This appeased the King of Qin's suspicion. In the twenty-third year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, Wang Jian led his army to attack Chu. He spent a year consolidating his position on the front lines, dispelling the Chu army's vigilance. Then, Wang Jian led his troops to launch a decisive attack, crushing the Chu army and killing Xiang Yan at Qi. More than a year later, he captured King Fu-chou of Chu, pacifying Chu. Afterward, Wang Jian campaigned south to the Baiyue region and achieved victory.
After Qin Shi Huang unified the realm, Wang Jian's experiences are unclear. One account states that he retired from public life and met a peaceful end.
The war of unification lasted fifteen years. During this period, apart from the initial conquest of Han, which Wang Jian did not participate in, the other five states were either conquered by Wang Jian's forces or by his son Wang Ben.

"Your subject, Sun Bin!"
"Your subject, Gao Chong!"
"Your subject, Wang Jian!"
"Pays respects to the Heavenly Emperor!"
Several hours later, in the study, Sun Bin, Gao Chong, and Wang Jian, who had just manifested, bowed respectfully to Yang Hao.
"Rise," Yang Hao said gently, looking at the three. "You must have a clear understanding of the four major hegemonic powers. This battle is unavoidable. We must eliminate the strength of the four major hegemonic powers in the Immortal Realm in one decisive engagement. However, the Great Han must also enter the ancient star road to investigate the secrets hidden within it!"
"Heavenly Emperor!" Wang Jian knelt on one knee and said in a deep voice, "Your subject requests to fight, to sweep away the four major hegemonic powers and unify the Immortal Realm!"
"Good!" Yang Hao smiled slightly and said, "Issue an imperial decree, ennobling Wang Jian as the commander of the Qiongqi Legion to conquer the four major hegemonic powers and sweep through the core of the Immortal Realm. In this battle, if necessary, you may deploy other legions without awaiting my decree!"
